the driver standing in the street acting as if he made the delivery but drives off with my 200 + Walmart order

I watched Jose the driver drive up to my house went to the trunk and take out my sons bluey tent take a picture while he was standing in the street and put it back into his trunk , at that moment I started to walk towards him, he got into his car and drove away while I was saying "hello sir that's my order" . while I was holding my son of 2-year-old we watched him speed and race away down the street and I'm standing in the middle of the street watching him. Your driver robbed me. I received nothing my son has no lunch and I spent hours placing this order. this is by far the worst Walmart experience ever, and the refund takes 10 days so me and my family have to starve for over a week because your driver robbed me and my son. I did not receive any sort of compensation and this is absolutely wrong. my wife wants to stop using Walmart permanently . I am very upset this is wrong I wish someone could help or do something to make this better, we never wanted a refund we want the groceries we ordered.

It's Walmart -- you know what you're getting. This location has groceries, which is convenient, but there are always lines no matter what time you go. Produce and meats are really hit or miss: sometimes they're well stocked and fresh, other days there's next to nothing. The clearance section can be a great find if you're lucky, but it's not guaranteed. Overall, it's decent for basics and random deals, but be ready to wait

Stellar. 5.25.20 amid our covid-19 pandemic. I finally tried Walmart pickup. In one word Tremendous. Minus the 16 items that were supposedly out of stock. I'm sure if I waited in the long line and went in I'd find 1% milk on the shelf. They said it is out of stock asking with 15 other items. So for the bigger picture here it was a very good experience. They substituted a couple items for items that were out of stock. That was perfectly acceptable. Good going Walmart. The milk though does put a damper on things. I'm not believing that one. But you have to consider the source. Other than that it's all good and a happy experience. Will definitely follo this process again. It took about 10 minutes from when I checked in until they brought out the groceries. Not bad at all. Especially since it's a holiday weekend.

Here we go again... Today I was,(reluctantly), at the Walmart Service Desk and I couldn't help noticing how clean it is . Below my initial review are some pictures. The best one is the mouse trap which is about 30 feet away from their open display cases with fruit and vegetables. A few weeks ago I purchased some groceries at the store. All was going fine, until I got to the register. As the cashier began to ring the food I had bought for my family, I noticed she began to lick her finger every time she opened a bag. Having owned a dental practice for 23 years, I couldn't help but notice that she had generalized periodontal disease, and with each lick she was transferring bacteria laden saliva onto my family's food. Today, I returnto the same Walmart, and as I was entering there was four or five employees milling around smoking cigarettes in the front. As I approach them one lady was dropping the F bomb repeatedly as she complained about one of her fellow call workers. On both occasions I called the manager, never got a response and he never answered. I would advise not to go to this Walmart if you care about what your family is consuming and what they are hearing.

Lots of empty boxes/messy display. :(

I can't give this Walmart a very bad rating, because it is MUCH nicer than some of the others I've seen. However, I can't really give it a very good rating either. My biggest problem with this store is that things always seem to need to be restocked. Lots of empty shelves. It really is hit or miss with certain products: sometimes they are in stock, sometimes they aren't. Most of the employees I've encountered are friendly and good spirited; others are downright grouchy.

For a Walmart, it is fine. Certainly better than the one in Waterbury, and much easier to get to.

This is by far one of the WORST Stop & Shops though. It always looks like a bomb went off...the shelves are always picked over and disorganized. Their purchasing department clearly sucks at their job, when something good goes on sale (i.e. Chobani for $1 a piece) they're cleaned out quickly and then the shelves are barren all week. Order enough to meet demand, I wouldn't think this is so hard. I prefer the one in Watertown, any of the ones in Waterbury, or Seymour better. The self-checkouts here suck. They give me more problems than any other Stop & Shop. I also wish that they'd get the scan-it guns so I could ring my stuff up AS I shop, but I suppose Naugatuck is like Torrington, full of raggies that make it too risky. (I had a friend who worked at one of the stores in Torrington who was told that shoplifting is why they don't have the option for scan-it...I would assume Naugatuck is the same.) The nice thing is that the store is rarely ever busy.

I concur with the 3-star rating previously posted…read more The selection at the Naugatuck Stop & Shop is very mediocre. They've run out of items plenty of times that nearby locations still had plenty of. The self-checkout lines here are very glitchy. Unlike any Stop & Shop I've been too and I've been to dozens. You literally scan an item, the machine lags and often starts yelling at you. The staff usually just tells you to shove the items to the end of the belt to override. There always seems to be issues with the bottle redemption machines as well. The only reason I regularly shop here is that I live in Naugatuck, but I often end up having to go to another location to pick up items that they don't have.

But at some point the owners needed to retire and something new was bound to come in. This dollar general is fine. It's like a mini K-mart. It almost has a little bit of everything. You might get a little claustrophobic because the aisles are a little bit tight. It's nice to be able to pick up a black sharpie for kids school projects, or a birthday card, or some engine oil without having to drive 20 minutes out of town. I do wish the fresh food section was a little more extensive but you can't have everything in such a small space. I personally like the new DG Market. While it may not be the old four corners it certainly beats having an empty store front which is too common in small town USA.

The inventory control is so uneven as to be nearly non-existent, but that's not the worst part. The worst part by far is the store's manager, a surly man who has driven out countless good employees and angered an endless number of customers with his attitude, which seems to be at all times a thinly-veiled hatred of us all. I've done what I could to not go in there when I know the manager is working. I failed to remember this important point today, and Mr. Surly was his usual complaining, gruff self. I am completely aware that I am but one of literally dozens of people who have complained about this guy since that location opened. Are you really telling us that you can't find better people to run the place? He's got an assistant who is personable, hard-working, and courteous. In what universe should he be working for a man like that manager? This store is the only one in the region that closes at 9PM, owing to their head man having angered people from the day they opened. I have news for DG. The hours they're open was never the problem. I am absolutely done trying to buy anything here, even though they are close to me and do sell things the other ones usually don't carry. It doesn't matter. The Chase store in Waterbury and the Naugatuck locations both have people who are so much better at what they do. Maybe they could send one of those managers there to teach this clown things like customer service and responsive management?
