I am from Arizona and the Walmart I used to go to in Chandler was always so clean and, well, not ghetto. The parking lot here looks like the apocalypse happened a week ago and people looted Walmart, leaving their garbage littered across the ground. It's so bad, it looks like a music festival just happened here or something. WHAT IS WITH ALL THE LITTER?! The store inside is like all other Walmarts. Annoyed employees who only give to customers what they get from the company and items made from cheap labor. People who look like they're from a parallel universe. The few normal people sprinkled around who were forced to come here because of their weird work schedules or because nothing else is open right now and they need something urgently. I tried to buy a tv they were advertising online and they wouldn't even honor their own pricing. Short heavy set balding woman was extremely rude, she kept talking over me whenever I said anything. I called back to get the name of the manager and I was told first they had no manager then i spoke to 3 different people before I was given the name Isaiah. But she wasn't sure when he would be back in the store. This store has no leadership and it shows. Went to a different location and the manager took care of it no questions asked. I agree with the other reviews that the staff is quite rude and unhelpful! I asked a young lady to price something for me, as she clearly had the handheld scanner in her hand, she said it wasn't working and kept on scanning other items. The same items are rarely in the same twice, or priced correctly! The manager is also quite rude and disrespectful. Clearly doesn't care about the staff or customers, as I have spoken to him once about poor service! Lines are always long and "management team" seems to care less! read more

This place is absolutely horrible, especially with their pick up service. I had ordered something today at 9:40am to be picked up today (because it said it was available in store for pick up today) a couple hours later, my boss gets a confirmation that it won't be ready until next Thursday due to the fact that they didn't have any left in stock. Keep in mind when I ordered this that there was 4 left, when I looked online there's still 2 left. So when I went there to check on the order, with the order number and the order confirmation printed out, they begin to tell me that there's no record of it being ordered. Tonight I went to pick up my sons birthday cake which I had ordered a few days prior. I was excited to see they had a Pokemon theme cake and quickly ordered it. I had confirmed with the cake decorator that I could order the sheet cake (see images) without using my sons picture, and just use the licensed image instead. I was told that wasn't a problem. What I got was a cake saying Happy Birthday to my son, and not a Pokemon to be seen (see images). When I told the bakery girl that the cake wasn't what I ordered, she kindly told me that it wasn't possible to order that specific cake because their edible picture printer hadn't been working for months! The CSR at the bakery was very nice in trying to attempt to salvage the situation. She called the cake decorator at home, who swears she told me I couldn't order that "cake kit". The funny thing is, the cake order form is filled out with a "cake kit" matching Pokemon and even notes not to include the additional personal image. So here I sit with less than 12 hours to my kids party, and I don't have a Pokemon cake. Lucky for me, my son has tons of little figures I can throw on to it to save the day. I'd like to point out that the CSR was extremely kind and was able to obtain a full refund for us. Thanks Walmart for screwing up my kids birthday cake and not having the decency to acknowledge it! read more

I find this Wallmart to be ok. It is open 24 hours which is very helpful when your schedule is not 9 to 5. It seems clean most of the time and the staff are usually friendly. The cold cut area could use more help, there is a wait for more than 10 minutes at times. Their inventory of items is good. I dont mind shopping here. read more

Walmart Pharmacy in Neptune, NJ has been most helpful in the years I have been using them for all my script needs. Recently, had a problem with asthma meds not covered under Part D. Ongoing situation but Walmart stepped up to the plate and made recommendations. The pharmacist was so helpful along with the staff. I love the texting notifications for pickups with the price included. My family, friends are very happy with our Walmart phamarcy - highly recommend this particular one in Neptune! read more

I'm very disappointed in the service I received tonight at the Walmart's deli in Neptune. I was at the counter before they had closed 7:40 PM, the gentleman who served me was extremely rude, when he asked me if I needed something I said yes and he says well what do you want, is that how you ask a customer for something? Is that how you are supposed to speak to them?? I don't think so, As he was done cutting up the meat I had asked for he literally threw it into the refrigerated section in the front and then was extremely annoyed that I needed to order something else and did the exact same thing with the cheese, threw my cheese up onto the scale and then put it on the counter, before I could even pick up my items they had already shut the lights out at about 7:55 PM. Not a single thank you, have a good evening, nothing...just a sour puss on his face and pissed off the entire time he had to take care of me. Now I've worked in an industry where I deal with customers over the phone and in person for over 20 years now & and no matter how many times those customers have been wrong, been rude or downright nasty to me I have always put a smile on my face and said thank you, have a good evening. Things like that go along way, now also someone who has worked in a Walmart like myself I know that that is not standard procedure, that is not what we are taught when we sit in the back office & watch hours & hours of videos on how Sam Walton wanted his team to greet his customers. He would not have approved & neither do I...I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me or handle my order, if he does not like working in this type of industry then maybe he should find a desk job someplace pushing pencils filing papers, somewhere where his nasty facial expressions cannot be seen by a good customer like myself. read more

Bad experience, the person I ask for help told me that his new and he not speak English , so I find somebody else but the lady said she on her break but she was still putting merchandise on the shelf. Just moved here this week and have already had two bad experiences with the staff at this Walmart. I won't be returning. The first time, the credit card machine didn't have a pen to sign and was having some sort of error. The clerk swiped it so many times it triggered fraud so I stepped out of line to deal with the bank and get it cleared. It eventually worked, but not without receiving unnecessary rude attitude from the clerk. Today, I went to return something but forgot the receipt. On the way out, they said they should be able to look it up. So I stood in line for about 20 minutes just for the customer service rep to very rudely and bluntly say they cannot do such a thing. Things happen, I get it. I have always liked Walmart for their availability and prices, but the service here made me not want to even try again. read more

Walmart and/or Site-To-Store (completely unrelated entities as I've been told) have messed up my orders 2 out of 4 times. I ordered an item that cannot be located. It says it was picked up online (it wasn't) and when I call Site-To-Store, they say it was sent to store. The physical store says it's still with Site-To-Store. I reviewed the other reviews just to make sure I'm not crazy. The customer service at the Walmart in Neptune, N.J. is non-existent. The shelves are poorly stocked always. Being a person who have delt with cooperate america for his career, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the place is purposely understaffed, moral is low because of being overworked and your employees asking me if they hiring where I work. Just had a snow storm here and they couldn't even plow the eilses properly as I had to stop to dig someone out. I go down south (N.C.) and the Walmarts down there are night and day compared to up here in N.J. If you are not going to run it correctly, shut it down. I'm handicapped and really need to use the motorized carriages. I can NEVER find any, so I usually turn around and leave. You also have to watch that register. I have been charged almost double on many items that had a different price on the shelf. The cashiers act like your taking the money out of their pockets and will argue with you about it. I bought a pile of notebooks that the boxes they were in clearly said .25 yet it rang up 2.00 (big difference) same with the markers. I was told by cashier supervisor that "I'll let it go this time" Really?? Same in the tupperwear isle. box said 40 pieces and there were at least 10 there and it rang up 19.99 when the shelf clearly said 7.88. Plus the cashiers are in such a hurry they scan things multiple times and when you say something they have an attitude. I work hard for my money too! Of all the places Walmart Co could have opened in this county, the had to choose this area.... First the place is a mess, from the outside the place seems like your regular Walmart nationwide, inside not so much. The place seems to be different then other Walmarts i have visited. The major issue is the lack of intelligent staff at this location, of the times i have been here to purchase simply life needs like food or utensils, I have encountered rude and very terrible customer service. To simplify, from my viewpoint the people who work here dont seem to want to work here and are in the wrong profession. Many times i have asked staff members in store and on phone if they had a item in stock, or where a item location in the store was, only to keep me waiting on the line or in store so that they can go and ask 3 or more other staff members the same simply question, if Im lucky, one of them would know. IF, most of the time, a manager is called. This is a waste of time for both parties. Walmart needs to either pay these people more to work or find better replacements that actually wont show attitude and also do a good job, that way your customer base may actually come back! read more

Literally some of the worst employees I've ever encountered. The attitudes are horrible and the lack of knowledge is actually mind blowing. Corporate needs to come in and clean house. There needs to be better training and major attitude adjustments. We won't be back. I came in looking for a suitcase when I approached and employee to ask where it was she started walking away. I thought she didn't hear me and I asked again and she snapped that she didn't know and stormed off shaking her head as she was clearly inconvenienced being asked to do her job. I found the luggage on my own and after sorting through the mess and what seemed like used dirty returned luggage I found a piece that was suitable. Naturally there was no price tag and it was the last one. I found a different employee nearby to see if she could get a price or find another one in the back. She responded saying she had no idea how much it was and she couldn't help us because she didn't know where to even look in the back. We were sent to customer service to wait in an hour long line to finally get a price and buy the luggage. I mentioned the poor interaction to the cashier there who had zero response. I haven't had any bad experiences there; the staff has always been quite nice when I go. I usually check out at the self service and sometimes they are not working correctly but the staff is usually on it right away, never mean or rude so I will stick up for them. I've gone to other walmarts, mainly in Florida and think they are trying in Neptune...glad they are there as an employer to many who need jobs. read more

As many other reviewers have said, customer service is shockingly poor at this store. At the optical department today, an employee was busy texting. I said "Hello" and she did not look up, just continued texting and eventually said "What's up?". She was very unhelpful, including not adjusting my glasses - standard procedure when new glasses are picked up - continually not listening to me, and not showing any concern or making any suggestions when I said the glasses made me feel a bit dizzy. She eventually had someone else help me but that person would not re-measure my eyes to make sure the fit was right until asked to do so three times. Management and/or corporate should do something about the customer service in this store. read more
