I didn't want to give a star, but I had to. Newcastle Walmart employees have been given orders by higher ups to ID anyone who buys alcohol. Even if the person is 70 years old, gray hair, and is so far from being underage, it's not even funny. Still, the employees REQUIRE you to show your ID. OK, fine. But the license shows it is expired. That's because when renewing it, they mail your new license to you now, unfortunately. So. The license has the birth date on it, right? Right. What does it MATTER if it is expired?!? I had to go out to the car to get the paper license to go back in and prove it to them. See? It's valid, Walmart! This policy is so out of touch and as customer unfriendly as can be. If you are on chronic pain meds please, Please, PLEASE, DO NOT TRY TO HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTION sent to walmart in tri city/Newcastle, ok. My fiancee is on oxycotton for chronic pain and recently her prescription was mistakenly sent to this walmart. They put her off for over a week(during this time at one point they had actually ordered her full prescription, reshelfed it the day they were supposed to fill it, and by the time she called them they had already sold almost half of her order. Of course it being a controlled substance a pharmacy CAN NOT simply transfer the prescription themselves! So with dealing with the pain, walmart's crap, and having to go to the doctors office to get the prescription sent to St Anthony's pharmacy where it could actually get filled without All the DRAMA, she ended up having some VERY BAD seizures and in the ER!!! ALL BECAUSE WALMART WOULD NOT DELIVER A SERVICE AS PROMISED!!! read more

Normally I come to this Walmart and my experience is fine is anything it's great! Today 8/31/19 at 7:30 am, I was checking out at the self check out and I was the ONLY one there and I was kind of shocked that the lady at self check out didn't say hi , good morning or anything. So I gathered my bags thinking maybe she would say thanks, have a nice day, something along the lines of the usual people at self check out and NOTHING. Not to mention she stared at me the ENTIRE time as I was using the register right next to hers so it would only be polite to acknowledge ones existence if they are RIGHT next to you. She's a white, heavier set woman, with strawberry blonde hair and glasses and relatively tall. Hopefully she's not this unpleasant around all customers. read more

The thing I go to the store for is milk and this Walmart has the highest priced milk around, the cheapest is over 3 dollars a gallon when I can get it at Aldi's and other Walmart's usually a little over 2 dollars a gallon. Their Deli has meals, they come with one meat item and mostly fried sides, it is over 4 dollars. You get a better choice and price at Crest. Walmart has lost most of my business, their prices are usually always the same, no sales and their prices are higher than Aldi by a long shot and higher than Crest and Winco. Walmart got started with Made in USA, then they sold out to China helping them gain power to fight us in the next world war which is coming, our Corporations and Greedy for power politicians are all guilty. If I go to Walmart I rarely buy more than 2 to 4 items,my major grocery shopping is much cheaper shopping at Aldi, Winco and Crest in that order. This Tri City Walmart has the highest Milk prices of any store around the City. I drive 8 miles further one way to get better prices. read more

Typical Walmart. Grumpy employees, Long lines, packed parking lot. It seems they have less items. I check their clothing department regularly, especially for athletic clothing. They are either always out of my size, or just don't carry that article of clothing that another Walmart would. read more

Grocery aisle's always seem low and not restocked especially the drink aisle. The self checkout is ridiculous and some of the staff don't seem like they're trained well at the registers. I go to a Oklahoma family owned grocery store and the aisles are well stocked. No more Walmart for me! read more

It is the closest Walmart, so of course I use it. They have a lot of things that are a little tougher to get out here in the boonies. They are usually packed after work and on the weekends. It is best to get there early. They have also been out of stock on a lot of items lately due to people quitting. From my brief experience when I applied to work there, the employees were mostly indifferent about their jobs, and looked rather sad. After you see that many broken spirits in the heart of Walmart, you definitely don't want to work there anymore. My biggest complaint isn't actually about the store, but the people in the store. I assume it is a problem at every Walmart, but I really only go to this one. People have a tendency to stop and talk in the middle of aisles, and then act like you are a jerk when you ask to get by. If you want to talk to your friends, go meet up at a place that is meant for it; for example, a bar, restaurant, house, or even next to your car in the parking lot. There are so many places to stand and talk that won't be a major inconvenience to the rest of society. read more

Well they don't have near the selection that a store does that specializes in a certain department such as outdoors/athletics but what they do have usually is cheaper. read more

Our small Walmart is ok. It could be better if they stocked it better. They are always out of things. So you have to end up going to 2 stores anyway. Pour taxes are higher out here so if I have to go to 2 stores I will go into the city and go to another store. But for a small town Walmart I guess it's alright. read more

This review covers Newcastle and Mustang Walmarts! - I called to ask what time the Walmart photo center in Mustang closed and couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone! I then call the customer service at the Mustang Walmart and I asked what time the photo center closed. The person on the other end told me she didn't know and proceeded to tell me that they were a 24hr store! I kept my cool and told the woman that I knew that, but their photo center was not open 24hrs. She seemed surprised! I explained to her that I had already tried calling their number, but no one answered! What does she do? She acted put off and then transfers me to the same phone number that I just called and I still didn't receive any information! Uggghhhh!!!! Seriously?!!! I guess one could say, now that's customer service, but to me, it's sure not good customer service! Also, being from Tuttle, I then proceed to call the Newcastle Walmart which is about the same distance away. Guess what happened? Almost the very same thing! No one answers, I then call their customer service, customer service doesn't know the hours of their photo center, and finally, I get transferred to a number in the Walmart Photo Center Twilight Zone again, where no one answers!!!!!! read more

They don't carry a lot of items, items you see at another Walmart they won't have. They don't keep a large quantity of items in stock and it takes weeks before they get them in. Some of the cashiers have attitudes and no one is friendly. read more
