I went there to buy some beef ribs that my husband requested because craved to smoke them! Walked around and was impressed on what this store has to offer. I wish they had one on the North side of OKC. It's a bit far when you live in Edmond/Oklahoma City! Will definitely go back when I need something special! read more

US Food Chef's Store has remodeled the entire store. They did an excellent job on on organizing everything all the spices are in one place all the catering supplies are in one place. All Isles have overhead signs displaying what is on aisle. read more

This place is definitely a fun trip to just look around and marvel at the commercial amounts of food available even if you don't own anything in the food industry. My husband and I went to look around. We ended up buying a few things. The cashier was super friendly when we checked out. Worth it if you're a food person. read more

They have so much for restaurant supply and food. I like to buy pantry items here when I need a large quantity for get togethers.

It wasn't what I expected but it was nice to go and look around the store and you can buy bulk goods. I did like that part about it.

I called to ask about a particular product and the manager said they had plenty in the store. When I arrived an hour later, I was told they haven't been receiving that product. I wasted my time and gas driving 30 minutes to your business. I don't appreciate being lied to. I was extremely specific explaining to the manager on the phone which product I needed. I was looking for a Costco in Oklahoma City but the nearest one was 100 miles away in Tulsa so I ended up going to US Foods Chef' Store. This store reminds me of a Smart N Final, where it mainly caters to businesses. Since I was traveling, I couldn't really buy any big bulk items but I ended buying the following: - 2lb Rice Krispies Treat block ($11): I figured that I can just cut it up into 2"x3" blocks and let my kids eat it. - Bay Leaves ($4.50): 2oz container of dry whole bay leaves. 2 oz doesn't sound like a lot but it's in a decent size container (see picture). - Cracked Black Pepper corns ($7): I've been looking for some good size ground pepper corns but I was only able to find course ground but this is cracked so each peppercorn is 1/2 the size of a whole peppercorn. I will use for marinating my meats and making soups. This was definitely a great find! I will totally go back here again. read more

I love that I can get a variety of bulk groceries and more at this warehouse store without having a membership. They do have memberships that can be purchased but I'm not really familiar with them since I'm not a member. It's conveniently located just north of I-240 which makes it easier to get in and out quickly. We usually buy produce, meat and frozen foods here. They have so many different things available we've been able to try lots of new things that you typically can't find at other stores. The prices are great too which makes this place a no-brainer. These paper tray boats are sold at places like Sam's wholesale club but for the past five times I haven't been able to find them there. Here they come in half pound sizes all the way up to 5 pound and I'm happy to have my 3 pound, which is perfect for a single person who doesn't like food spilling and just needs a little paper tray to eat from on days that I don't want to do dishes and need something more ergonomic than a flat paper plate. so thankful I have my go to source so close and convenient on I 240 and Walker! read more

This place is an event host's jam. Great prices and selection! Wish I had one in Nashville... Who needs a silly Sam's Club card or crazy Costco card when you can buy the goodies from here? The layout was easy to maneuver and the staff were super helpful. The pricing was very affordable as we thought that we were going to be overbudget for our 300+ person event but ended up spending less than half if we would have went elsewhere. Our shopping list included around (1000 each) 6 inch paper black plates, clear wine cups, black forks, and some assorted bar supplies for around $120. I love buying in bulk here. The personnel are always friendly and quick to help, and the selection of top quality meat, dry goods, and fresh produce is -- without fail -- absolutely superb. Be prepared to buy in bulk, though. (This place is open to the general public, yes, but it's very tailored to the needs of restaurateurs, caterers, church kitchens, etc.) You'd better have ample pantry, refrigerator, and freezer space if you're a garden variety home cook (as I am) and plan to shop here. Putting this in the "Win" category for Julie S, the event host. You know, that event host who tries oh-so-hard to think of everything, makes a big list, and orders everything, long before the event itself. That girl. That same girl who is forgetful and all hopped up on caffeine and chocolate and likely to misplace said list. So, when you look at your list, and you check it twice, and you realize you missed a few really important items, just go here. If possible, go here with a big a truck (or maybe your mom's mini van) and take that list, and show it who is boss. Tell that list to go make you a sandwich. Because at Chef'store, that's absolutely possible. Seriously. I needed the most random stuff. Pour spouts for alcohol bottles. Wine openers, club soda, ginger beer... I needed CO2 cartridges and industrial amounts of flatware. They had all of it, and so much more. For example, I love Izze, but refuse to buy them (at damn near $1.50 each at Target). Here, you can buy 24 Izzes for $15. That's right. It's like a Sam's that got rid of all the patio furniture, pool chemicals, ink cartridges, chicken coops, office furniture, electronics, office supplies, shave gel, vitamins, blue jeans, books, software, cameras, pet supplies, flowers, ladies pink razors, fancy toothbrushes, socks and tires. And what remained was food, and food stuffs, and stuff for making and serving and storing food. So for those of us who spend most of our time thinking and working in food, this place is a win. read more

This place was simply amazing. I'm from Dallas (born and raised in OKC) and saw this gem sitting on the side of the highway when I traveled to and fro. I assumed it was another box store like Bed Bath & Beyond, but boy was I wrong! My partner is a Chef, and she begged to stop here on the ride back to Dallas, so we did. We walked in, and it was soooo clean! There weren't many people there, so my first reaction was that maybe it was a members-only place. We asked customer service if you had to be a member (or have a Tax ID) and she said no, so we were off to shopping! Next time we're throwing a party or large event (partner's family is Mexican, so that's often), we'll be buying paper and plastic goodies from here. Seemed like great deals on party essentials. We ended up buying a box of ribeyes. They have different cuts of meat which are vacuum sealed, or you can buy larger, uncut pieces (loins, etc.) Our case had 20 Cattleman's steaks that were 6-oz each, roughly cost about $52.00. That's WAY better than Omaha! Cooked a few up last night and they were delicious! Great quality, great prices. They had freezers full of frozen veggies, fruits, appetizers and meats, as well as coolers full of fresh produce and meats. Can't wait to go back and fill up our deep freezer! read more

Great!,bulk food item store. This is not your typical bulk food store either, it's centered around the restaurant market so items are in qualities you would need for a restaurant services and not a necessarily a family. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food items you are get. The meat section provides a variety of cuts and products. The spice aisle also seems to have every spice you might want or need in a bulk size. I also love being able to find some of the pots, pans and kitchen tools you can't find at other stores. The biggest plus about this place is you do not need a membership to come in and get what you need. We shop here all the time and I recommend coming here for some of the items you need on your next shopping list. read more

(check CONS) - They sell Mexican Sprite and Orange Fanta! - Flour tortilla selection is amazing. - Checkout is fast and efficient. CONS: - Prices for Asian foods is ridiculous. Go to Chinatown or Super Cao instead. - Bread selection is mediocre. Most of them have HFCS. - Prices for many items are higher than typical wholesale. - Produce section has many not-so-fresh items so you have to check carefully. I was happy when I first learned of this place last year, but usually leave a bit disappointed because they don't have everything I'm looking for. I will probably continue to stop by the store when I'm in the area, but living in North OKC, it isn't really worth the drive in the end. read more

The sheer mass of product (meats, cheeses, produce) would make Sam's Club or Costco blush. A visit to the walk in meat locker is a must. It's freezing cold in there which makes it nice on a hot hot day. I saw a whole goat leg wrapped up in some cheese cloth and a few lamb chops. The Chick-fil-A cows will probably go ape nuts after they see the large plastic wrapped hunks of beef and pork. Most of the chicken was concealed in a box. Party wing pack anyone? This place is great if you want to feed an army or have a big huge party to cater. I just can't justify buying a log of smoked gouda, let alone fit it inside my average sized fridge. I bought a 24 pack of Arizona Green tea for around $15 and some change though! Think Smart & Final. You can get deals without having to pay a membership fee but in large large quantities. Don't go overboard now people. Just make sure you compare prices before you spend a bundle thinking you struck a deal. read more

I don't think this place is ready to deal with the public. I went there to check it out and asked if anyone can kindly help me get a shopping cart. They are not your normal carts and needed some help pulling one out. Some burly guy from staff got me one and gave me the worst look ever while I was thanking him. Not sure why! I am not white but I don't think that was it. It was like I just disturbed his existence! About the place, unless you a have a large party or a large family to feed and don't mind cutting your own meat and have a deep freezer I don't see how this place can be an option. I'd give this place zero stars. Staff are super rude. I walked up to the counter and said "hey, how are you today?" Staff looked at me and chuckled and said "Um...hi?". What kind of customer service is that? I made sure to say please and thank you, and I told her to have a nice day when I left as well as the other staff on the way out. Purchased a case of cod for home use a couple of years ago and it was great! Baked was awesome. Then this year I purchased another case. It was a different brand. It's so full of water it can't be cooked. I've tried draining it for hours. Squeezing and squeezing. Patting with paper towels. Nothing works. Cannot be baked the breading doesn't stay on. Frying makes it hold the oil. Are they filling full of water to up the price per pound. Never shopping there again! read more

My father was a Chef, so I am very "snobbish" when it comes to chef stores. However, I was amazed by the selection and the quality this store has to offer. From everything to true tools for a chef, to gadgets for the home cook, to the best meat selection and vegetables and everything in between...this is the place to go. I have found a few items that I like and can buy in bulk and store. Items such as bacon and sausage patties seem to have some pricing value. But most of the other things I shop for actually appear to be overpriced at the Chef'store. For example, I went in for some baby back ribs and found their prices to be about the same or slightly worse than the local food lion. I thought maybe it was a quality issue - that I was getting better food at a lower price but the band names are the same. Bulk frozen vegetables do seem to be priced well. The really quirky thing about the place is that you can go up to the cashier with not another buyer anywhere nearby, purchase your items, get your receipt, then walk literally FIVE feet toward the exit and an employee will stop you and ask to see your receipt for the items you just paid for while they were watching. Who are they trying to prevent from stealing, the customers, the cashier, both? Either way, it is certainly not a welcoming move. read more

I'll start with saying the customer service was great. That is unfortunately where the positives end. Whether it was the weird maximum void limit on a sale that required 30 more minutes to re-ring up the transaction or the limited diversity on common items such as hot dogs and pretzels (which a majority of the pretzels were broken. But probably the worst was there undisclosed return policy on "frozen parcels" which is 24 hours. Granted that makes sense on perishables but when you call ahead and are told its fine just to drive 30 minutes to be stonewalled with a smile wasting not just your time but your patience that is when the glowing customer service is just a pleasant facade that hide the corporate greed. Which is odd because we spent over two thousand dollars. We will not be returning. read more
