I wish I had time to browse as this was my first time in a Supercenter, but I was sent here on a party emergency pick up. Parking was plentiful. The footprint is huge compared to the standard stores. The grocery section alone resembled a traditional market minus the butcher shop, along with rows and rows of dry goods, the two areas I shop in at home. Everything else is insignificant to me. Customer service would not exchange a car battery that was purchased just hours earlier. It was unused, it could not have been used, and its terminal caps were still in place. (The battery was a misfit because it lacked an 'R' on its group number.) Customer service said it was "non-returnable" ... despite there having been no such notice during purchase. My request for store manager intervention got a "security specialist". He did nothing but keep repeating "its policy and we can't make exceptions". When I asked again for the store manager, I was ordered to leave. An elderly man in line tried commenting on the absurdity of the situation and was ordered to "butt out". When he refused to be silenced, HE was ejected from the store by Mr "security specialist". When I continued asking for the store manager, he called the local police, or at least pretended to do so. That went nowhere in the absence of any real basis, so he then started filling out paperwork for "banishing me from all walmarts forever". He actually pretended to want my signature as I was wrapping it up and leaving. Nobody ever bothered to so much as look at my receipt, so I can't imagine what Mr Security Specialist was actually writing. 1. Don't ever buy a car battery from Walmart without triple-checking its group number. Walmart apparently expects customers to be clairvoyant about their battery no-return policy and eat the cost of mistakes. 2. I chose to abandon the $180 useless item at customer service, i took pics showing it in their custody, and I have filed a dispute with my credit card that will become a charge-back to Walmart. 3. Don't shop at this Walmart if there is ANY chance that you may need customer service. The approach seems to be "all roads lead to security". No store manager availability, no intent to actually solve anything. Weak customer service is one thing, but this store has coupled theirs with remarkably immature and incompetent "security". That is a toxic combo that is destined to go absolutely nowhere good for customers or Walmart. read more

They have stocked shelves, prices always ring up fine, people are helpful when you ask questions, and lines aren't that long. If I could give Walmart on Trooper Road, Norristown, PA no stars I would. My complaint has nothing to do with the associates. Most are very friendly... this has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE NON-MANAGEMENT OF THE STORE. Oh, so many complaints... You go to the store see a price you like, put it in your cart and the cashier rings it up $100 more than the price on the shelf... and this is ALL THE TIME! I would NOT recommend going to this walmart at all! The managers here are a bunch of morons...anytime you go here the lines are pathetic and you cannot get any help in ANY dept. Ask for a manager ( and I am by no means a "karen" ) but I can tell you forget that -they must be on vacantion more than they work.....hmmmmm wonder what kind of mishaps are going on there? The employees can be found on their phones but not helping customers and the place today was a disgrace! When is the last time they cleaned the place? About a month ago I was there and the place was shining and spotless -today I went in and it is awful! Dirty filthy store. Parking lot is a disaster loaded with trash and filth. Place is dirty. Customer open food and leave the half eaten remains on shelves in the store. The store is a dump. If the self check out line wasn't there this joint would close down. Just plan on old filthy and should not be selling food. I have spoken to them monthly about this. They give me the we will take care of it speil and the sticky filth just continues to trap dirt. Maybe they see it as the dirt is trapping the dust?! The new order pickup service sucks. The service is supposed to be open 8-8 and I had to seek out help and they offered up "I don't know anything about this..." nice work I wish I could give this hole (trumps words not mine) negative stars. read more

The criminals run the asylum at this place. You're lucky if you have more than 1 register open at any given day of the week. This store relies on the self checkout section. Most of the time the line is around 25+ deep. When this is seen, you would think management would call up cashiers. NOPE! They just let you stand and wait. This has been going on long before COVID came into the picture! The store is filthy and most of the employees are rude, using foul language and talking on their phones. My husband and I have been going to the Hatfield branch for better than 2 years now. It's clean. You can find at least 8 registers open and the self checkout. Both sides of the checkout area. It's a little longer of a drive but so worth it! Better produce and meat selection helps! Pottstown Walmart is better than this too! The best part with Pottstown is the self checkout lanes in addition to the self checkout registers. This is great when you have a cart full. Maybe if the Audubon branch can't get cashiers, update the store to the self checkout lanes. Food for thought!! read more

Come here quite often for whatever I need. It's Walmart. They have everything, including ammunition, which has cheaper prices than the big box and local stores. I want to share my pleasant experience at the Trooper Walmart today. There is a woman who works in returns who brings a smile to her customers. She is enjoyable to interact with. She presents an atmosphere of welcoming her customers as though she were welcoming family into her home. I have a positive feel when I walk into Walmart and she helps me with my transaction. I wonder if she realizes how much she brightens her customers day ? I asked her what her first name was today ( sometime around 12pm), I think she said Darlene. What has happened to the selection at this store.? You can no longer shop at this store and pick up the items that used to stock the shelves. The time of day, day of week doesn't seem to matter. I want to make it clear that this review is based on my grocery order pickup this morning. I know there are sometimes problems with this store but it's WAY better than the other Walmart closer to me that just closed recently ever was. My groceries were delivered and placed carefully in my car trunk by a young lady named Bernadette who was the most pleasant, friendly, helpful and competent Walmart employee I've ever dealt with. And I know that's probably not always easy to do given the current virus situation. Bernadette deserves a big pay raise and probably a promotion. Hoping all these food service employees stay safe. I can't say how much my wife and I appreciate what they are doing to help us old folks avoid going into stores. read more

I am a self professed Walmartian. I'll put up with the lines to get good prices. I had to make a return on stuff I ordered from dot com. I was returning three pairs of slacks that I loved but were too long on me & it took forever. I had my receipt and the tags were attached to the pants. Some snafu happened and the last pair wouldn't go through etc. They (the customer service staff) kept yelling they needed some kind of supervisor- no sense of urgency from the supervisor. The customer service women were bitching behind the counter about the heaps of trash behind the service desk complaining that they had called maintenance 5 times and they never came to empty the garbage. It was definitely justified but very unprofessional. Ugh just what I want to hear. I would say the whole area of customer service was chaotic and very disorganized. As I waited and waited to have my return processed, the line for customer service grew and grew. Again- no sense of urgency. The lady who helped me apologized a few times for the delay. When I ordered my purchase on line the receipt showed a barcode specifically for returns which was never used and was useless -(of course) instead I was told I had to hunt down the order number which was buried at the bottom of the email. A shame because the greeter was nice and I purchased some things at the register. The cashier was friendly and fast. Store looked clean and organized. On the way out I thought I would use the bathroom. Think again. The women's room was blockaded with a "caution" sign and a gigantic industrial mop bucket right in the doorway. When you have 21 registers and only two are open that is frustrating. When you have over 6 people in line at customer service and only 1 register of 3 is open, that sucks. This store is huge and you can probably get all your shopping done here but then to wait in line is not worth it. read more

The store has a nice selection of goods.. My issue is shopping without being interrupted by comcast and nrg expecting me to stop and chat when I'm there to get in and out. I have limited to shopping for only the minimum to get in and out faster. The checkout lines are as long as ever. Is it that hard to hire more people to work the registers guys? I had the worst experience ever at this Walmart. I had a family emergency. A family member of mines stopped breathing and almost died. I needed some ginger root to help open her sinuses and help her breathe a little better. I called when I got back from the hospital. I couldn't waste a trip so I asked them if they could they check to see if they had it in stock. A lady from customer service told me that she couldn't check because it was on the other side of the store and she had things to do. It's a shame that someone in retail would respond like that. This Wal-Mart used to be my family and I's go to spot. We live in King of Prussia but will drive to go to this Wal-Mart. Everyone in our family knows it as "the good Wal-Mart" but not anymore. More times than not, there's only 1-3 registers open, not due to lack of staff (half of them have their thumbs up their asses so far they can pick their nose), and those cashiers on those 1-3 registers are so slow or don't know what they're doing that the lines get backed up to all high hell even on a slow day or time. Also, the employees are the rudest, most unhelpful, or unwilling to help people I've ever met. One instance was a few months back when my grandma and I went to find something and needed help with locating it. We found 2 men in Wal-Mart uniforms and asked for help to which we got "I'm not on the clock". Ok then, you could've just told us where it was in the time you took to say that you weren't on the clock. Another instance was today, I went in looking for a storage cart for my room, I found it online at walmart.com and wanted it today so I decided to try and pick it up today while I was there. I went to the aisle where it would be (using common sense) and it wasn't there. My grandma and I went down other aisles around that area and I finally asked someone if they knew where it was in the store. I showed him my phone and he looked at the picture for maybe like 5 seconds and says "uh well umm, I don't know". I then went up to Customer Service to see if they could actually help me. I waited in line for like 10 minutes for another employee to look at my phone for like 30 seconds, he actually called someone on the floor to see if they had it (they didn't), I then asked if he could check on his computer to see if the Wal-Mart in king of Prussia had it, he rolled his eyes and huffed before telling me that they can't look up other stores inventory anymore. (???) If you don't want to help people then don't get a job in customer service. It's very evident that the employees at this Wal-Mart aren't there to do their actual jobs. Will most likely end up going to the smaller Wal-Mart in king of Prussia. They don't have a lot of the stuff this one has but at least the staff seems more helpful. read more

I was traveling through the area, picked up a few packs of Cigarettes here. Surprise surprise! one of the packs had some bugs in it. The cigarette company was very nice to me, the same can't be said for the manager at this Walmart. She was short, rude, and incredibly unhelpful. It's fine that they have a no return policy on tobacco, I didn't expect to get my money back. What I really didn't expect was to be half lectured by an angry middle aged woman who seemed to be taken out her hatred of her job on her customers. Instead of a lecture, maybe I could have gotten a quick few words of sympathy and a suggestion to call the cigarette manufacturer? No; I guess the way this Walmart operates is that if you have a problem with something they sold you, you should feel disheartened by the situation because somehow it's YOUR fault. 0/10 if it was possible to give such a rating. This rating is only based upon the customer service I received from one incident, but suffice to say, it was bad enough that I recommend people here stay away from this Walmart. read more

This store is beyond horrendous. I'd give them zero stars, if I could. It is filthy (I've seen mice scurrying through the aisles on two separate occasions) and have seen bugs on their produce. I can't believe they haven't been shut down by the health department. Employees are rude, inconsiderate and are not knowledgeable about anything. Lines at the register are atrociously long and forget it if you have a return - you'll wait at least 45 minutes at customer service. After my third time of going there and walking out with less than 1/4 of what I came in for (almost all basic, everyday items) because their shelves were so poorly stocked, I refuse to set foot in there. I'm writing this as I patiently wait (and wait and wait and wait......) in line as the indifferent cashier works with a very typical Walmart customer (if you ever search the internet and find the websites you'll know what I mean) upset that the cashier cannot get the last $1.25 off a gift card the customer is trying to use. Typical Crapmart, cold, impersonal, badly understaffed, those with jobs are miserable, move as slow as molasses in winter and simply hate their jobs. I only shop here out of sheer necessity. This Wal Mart is a much larger store compared with the one in King of Prussia, so the selection is better. Some of the merchandise could be more neatly displayed. The biggest complaint is lack of open registers. Although there is a new, large self check out station, it is not helpful if you are purchasing a cart full of items; you really need to go through a standard check out lane and there are usually 3-4 of those open, despite having 20 or so at this particular location. Also, there is usually a long line at customer service with only one person working that desk. read more

This store usually has what I need with no issues but today was the worst with the lines. The self checkout and two lanes were open at 3PM. The party in front of me had two full carts of food and had some issues with their method of payment. I stood in line for a full 35 minutes. The person behind me gave up and left.
