A few ladies were scattered outside of the store handing out scratch-off cards. I won a few free samples, so I decided to cash in! Upon getting into the store, every single worker greeted me very enthusiastically. One worker, Jasmine, helped me out. Jasmine was a ray of sunshine and did a skin analysis before picking out the perfect free sample. She then talked me into getting a 30 min. $30 facial. I swear everyone has to get a facial! She was so sweet and talked me through every product she used. After the facial, she even reapplied my makeup with Clarins products. Other workers would walk by and compliment me on my skin or makeup - and they truly meant it. I left so happy and feeling great about my skin. A few days later, I received an unexpected email from Jasmine! She thanked me for coming, wished me well at work and told me how she made restaurant reservations at a place I suggested! It was so sweet and her taking that extra step assured me that I'll be back.

Spillane's prices with their 2 for $X deals are more than comparable to wigtypes.com or Samsbeauty.com. The man behind the counter was nice. I only bought a cap but still ... The store sells a bunch of other random discount items. It's your regular neighborHOOD discount beauty store, and I'd take it any day over an overpriced tourist attraction in a mall.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Ulta location while attempting to pick up an online…read moreorder. I waited at curbside and called the store multiple times from my car to let them know I was there, but no one answered--even though I could see an employee near the window. I was sitting in my vehicle, clearly waiting for a paid curbside pickup, which makes what followed even more confusing. I went inside and presented my order confirmation email, which states that either an ID or the email may be used for pickup. The employee insisted on ID only and proceeded to lecture me in a condescending tone, rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. The way she spoke to me felt accusatory, as though I was attempting to steal, despite the fact that I was simply picking up inexpensive items that were already paid for. I wasn't feeling well at the time, so the interaction was especially uncomfortable. As I was leaving, the employee made a dismissive scoffing gesture that reinforced how unprofessional the encounter was. I've been a Platinum and Diamond member for years and have never been treated this way. This wasn't a policy issue--it was an attitude and professionalism issue. Extremely disappointing.
