Typical SuperWalmart with a large selection of snacks at great prices. I love spicy food, so they had a good variety of cheap snacks for me to pick. I had a delivery order for Friday and today is Sunday the order is delaye! when you call they don't pick up the phone so you have to call corporate and they try to help but can't! this isn't the fish time I have this issue the lack of communication is unacceptabl! don't go here and do Walmart plus, I still don't know when I'll get my order and I can't cancel it and yes I recorded all my calls with permission because someone need to look into this store read more

For years I would avoid Wal-Mart like the plague. We all know the people that go here and the websites devoted to showing off said people. Being in a crowded space with certain people is not my idea of a good time! So my review is certainly not about Wal-Mart the building! Not long ago we were introduced to Wal-Mart Grocery. A relatively new service offered by Wal-Mart where you place your order online, drive to the store, and within minutes an associate loads your order in your vehicle. As if this isn't incentive enough, Wal-Mart provides this service for NO CHARGE! You are not even allowed to tip the associate who loads the bags in your car. All specials apply to your online order and if they are out of the item you want they replace it with a bigger or better item! If you don't like the item they gave you for a replacement, or you don't like the ripeness of your bananas, you have a cracked egg, or any other issue, you will receive a credit for said item. We have used this service in both Swansea as well as Dartmouth (as I refuse to go to Fall River). Although both places are good, Dartmouth offers better pickup times, often the same day you order. Dartmouth also provides you with better quality grocery bags. I can't believe that I am writing a five star review for Wal-Mart, but this is seriously an amazing service and Dartmouth has it down to an art! read more

I am not a fan of Walmart at all, but I LOVE the grocery pickup option that they offer!! The online ordering could not be any easier and they seem to have just about everything that we need for the week! The produce they hand select is always great as are other grocery items! You are there less than 3 minutes on average from the time you park your car and wait for them to roll the totes out and load you up! Couldn't be any easier and the best part, it's free! No fees and you are not allowed to tip the people that load your car! Can't get much easier than that if you ask me!! read more

The online pick up is just as much of a disaster as shopping inside. Despite the reserved spots for online pick up, people park where ever they want. Even saw 1 man who was parked in a pick up spot today (not picking up an order) but sitting in a chair in the shade reading. Like really Walmart?! Could you maybe care?! I stopped by to pick up some hair coloring for my wife. when I got to the isle I met Verlarea ( I don't think I spelled her name correctly ) and she went out of her way to help me. she couldn't find it on the shelf so she got a ladder and looked up top. I work in retail and we're always telling the Associates to communicate and Engage with the customers. Well she hit both and also thanked me for coming in. You need more people like her and I would love to have her working for me. read more

Spreader on the loose. Masks required & they have an announcement playing that states for the safety of our employees and customers masks are required. A very privileged woman came in and was walking around without a mask. The store associate wiping down carts did not tell her to put on a mask. Also no social distancing. Getting looks and comments from everyone. I asked another associate if it is store policy to wear a mask & it is but that cannot do anything to stop anyone. So I am never going to the North Dartmouth Walmart ever again. And for all you folks who don't like wearing masks that's the place for you. Be a spreader amongst spreaders. This weekend we dropped in at this Walmart to pick up a few items for family. Since this was the first time we stopped in at this store, we didn't know what to expect, but most likely going during the holiday season wasn't a good idea. The store was packed and the aisles were a mess. Their toy selection was a mess and the rest of their sections were also disorganized. When it came time to check out, the lines were horrific and it took forever to get out. Usually I have tolerance for slow lines, but during the holiday season the store should have had more open lines. Overall, the store was a mess and from what I gather, this isn't the only time of the season where service is poor. read more

Today I was in an aisle looking for party favor bags and could not find them. There were two employees in the very next aisle and asked them if they could help me locate them. The male employee said they would be in the next aisle over to which I replied that I knew but wanted him to show me as I could not find them. His response was "well I don't know where they are either" I thanked him for being so helpful and went along my way. I ended up finding them but could not believe two employees would not stop their non-work related conversation to help me. This was about 8:00 AM in aisle 13. It was the worst display of customer service I ever encountered. read more

Let's see where shall I start how about when you first get there and there is rarely any parking since they closed off all the parking on the side and took like 20 spots at the front of the store for online pickup order which always are empty I mean honest who orders using the app most of the stuff they end up saying they don't have even though it says they have it online. Then they say well you can't trust the app it's always wrong. Smh. I also have to point out they hire some of the most lazy and rude people. It's always attitude and eye rolling when you ask for help they act like you're bothering them lastly they often have wrong pricing on stuff and when you realize you were over charged and complain they don't want to honor the price especially on big ticket items. It happen to me and while I was at customer service my wife caught them moving a pallet and removing the wrong price so when I walked back there with the manager the pallet and proof is gone and they will lie to your face. This is a WalMart, honestly, if you are expecting Macy's or Goldman Sax, you need you get your head checked. Was swinging through the area and realized they had the super center Walmart here. These usually carry Latino items, the regular smaller ones usually do not. I picked up some hominy, specific sauces, and checked out on the self check-out. It was a Saturday, probably payday for most people, and the place was packed. They had about a dozen registers open and there were still lines. While I was done checking out and heading out the door, they were opening more. Seems like they do the best they can to make people happy, I have been to some stores, where you are stuck waiting 100 deep on 1 aisle with no other registers opening in sight. If I am back in the area, I will check it out again, their prices on Latino goods is pretty much rock bottom, their prices on most things are rock bottom, the big question always is quality, but if you know what you're buying you should be fine... read more

I was just in Walmart in north Dartmouth waiting in customer service and thank God for Laney. All I was trying to return a mop and thr line was long as hell. I've shopped at all the Walmart stores in this area at one time or another, face it.. Walmart is the cheapest dept. store around and if you need a few basic items you can get them here cheaper than anywhere else.. however, this particular store is NOT one of the nicer ones in the area.. I wonder where the other reviewer has been shopping! I went in there today for 3 items. one was a new release book that should have been out on the shelf by 8am at the latest. none of the new releases for today were even out yet and this was 2 in the afternoon. Just for the hell of it, I checked the DVD's and none of those new releases were out either. What are these department employees doing anyway? I know 2 of them were sitting in their car in the parking lot smoking, which doesn't bother me as much as the fact that they were in the very first parking space. Aren't employees supposed to park in a designated area?! meanwhile paying customers have to walk a half mile to the store. The store wasn't well stocked at all, nor was it clean. It wasn't filthy, but it was definitely in need of a good cleaning. I saw very few employees aside from the 2 smoking in the parking lot and the one talking on his cell phone outside the store. I have terminal cancer. I shop at this Walmart to get my groceries delivered because I cannot go to the store. The last few times' they have left a couple of small items out of my order. This time I ordered and they left 14 items off my order. I called them to let them know and they told me they couldn't send the items that they forgot out to me. So the next day I called another number and talked to a supervisor. Since there was a 2 hour delivery slot open (which there never is and you have to pay $17.95) I was happy to be able to get my items today. Otherwise it wouldn't be until Tuesday. I have 4 teenagers here with 7 bags of cereal and not 1 drop of milk, 6 packages of bagels and not 1 once of cream cheese ext.. So she then told me to pay for the items and the $17.95 delivery fee up front (I paid $25.00 fees yesterday) and then she would refund it. I have cancer and I am not working anymore and I am on such a low fixed income now. It would take 3-10 business days for me to get the refund. It would cost me $62.61 today after I paid for all of this yesterday and I would have to wait the 3-10 business days to get my $62.61 back.. Any other store would have wiped those fees out right away. She refused to do it.. I will NEVER EVER shop at Walmart again... The worst EVER!!!! read more

Let's be serious: this is a Wal-Mart. I rated it based on the fact that it's a decent, respectable business for what you're paying for. Don't expact 5-star service and pay 0-star prices. It's a reality. My main complaint is the amount of, um, urban people they have working there, with their pants falling below their butts. Some are respectful, others are not. I've watched some associates walk right by a pile of clothes on the floor, and not pick them up. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I've seen employees go out of their way to apologize for the attitudes of the others. It is what it is. However, for the stores in the area, it's definitely one of the better ones. read more
