Security is PURE RUDE. Me and my mom just left and we had been trying to pull out for 2-3 minutes, we finally get somewhat out of the spot and he comes around the Corner paying NO attention. We didn't say or do anything as he was coming by after probably a whole minute of staring (had no choice) he finally started mouthing off don't know everything he had said he eventually had called her many names. This Walmart was decent. Needed to grab a few things (as we were only vacationing in the area). I was a little sad the electronics area closed a bit before the rest of the store & I wanted to get something that was locked up but there's no call for help button or way to find a staff to help. Been standing in this line for 20 minutes or more. I'm not self checking $300 in groceries but since I've spent all this time buying them, here I stand. Plenty of employees walking around giving zero shits and here we all stand in line. Plenty of people behind me have given up and left items on the counter or caved and self checked. This is absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, it's got to be 85 damn degrees in this place. There were also zero shopping carts available inside. Had to go get my own. I won't be back unless it's for the auto center. Edit: They finally opened up a second register after about half an hour. The cashier, Joshua was very nice and apologetic. I waited 1 hour for my order and when i called and asked where my order was Sunshine basically accused me of lying about my order and said it didn't exist and HUNG UP ON ME. the app said i had picked it up already because she went in and said i picked up when i was still waiting for it. The largest and clearest Walmart by far in the country!!!! The selection is huge when it comes to food, toys, etc... You can see by the pictures I posted how well the floors shine. The shelves were stocked with great care and the associates were everywhere fixing out of place items, cleaning, and assisting customers. I was very impressed on how this store was ran!!! This location also has self checkout minimizing long lines. 5 stars for the Manager and his team for a job well done!! When back to OKC to visit my aunt I will be sure to stop in... read more

Late post from April 5, 2020 but felt it needed to be posted: Kudos to the Walmart on Penn & Memorial! They really had it together. We had to shop for a family and 2 different elderly people today. At first when we were walking through the parking lot we heard the loud speakers letting everyone know the rules and promoting social distance and washing your hands. It felt a little "Hunger Games-ish" ... but once we got to the entrance, they counted people to ensure they did t go over the safe amount and sanitized the cart before giving each person one. We were in and out of there quickly and the employees were nicer than I have ever encountered at Walmart before. Could we all be learning from this experience? Let's pray we are! read more

The worst Walmart with the worst staff I have ever encountered. The store is always a wreck but today was a new low for the lazy staff. I needed a can of formula. Walmart locks up formula, so I ask an employee to unlock the case. They won't. They said someone else needed to. I got this run around for 40 minutes! 40 minutes of just waiting by the formula case asking every employee for help, and no one would. I walked to the front twice to get a manager and I was told they were busy and couldn't assist. Today was unacceptable. If you're going to lock products up, then you need a system to unlock the products or don't bother selling them at all. While the Walmart employees won't care about this review or the mgt team, I want to encourage those reading this review to head over to Target or Aldi near by to get your groceries and home goods. read more

I prefer doing self-checkout, and I know I'm not the only one. The checkers are asking if I'm ready to check out as I walk by them. I had $4.50 in coupons today that their self-checkout machines said were invalid. MY COUPONS WERE VALID, but Wal-Mart would not override them unless I had gone to a NON-SELF-CHECKOUT. Awful customer service, awful curbside experience ANY time you go. You'll be there waiting at least 45 minutes before anyone even asks for the name on your order. Arrived before 10pm tonight with PLENTY of time to wait, waited until it closed at 10 and was on hold for over 15 minutes and nobody answered. I got kicked off the pickup section of the app and told to arrive between 7am-10pm tomorrow, but I was here before 10pm tonight and didn't get to pickup anything. I went to Walmart to look for a robotic vacuum for my wife's birthday. I was willing to spend about 500 bucks. They range from around 200 to 799 so I figured I'd get a middle of the road model. They had several floor models out for display, but nothing underneath for stock. I assumed that since these were fairly high dollar items, they didn't keep them on the floor. I am approached an employee and asked if they could help me out. I asked if they had any of these robotic vacuums in stock? The woman replied "do you see any there?" I replied no and her response was "well then!" In which case my response was "never mind I'll go to Best Buy." I could understand if this was just a sales associate. But it wasn't, it was the assistant manager. To her credit, she did end up finding me in the store a few minutes later and apologized to me, which I appreciated. However it was too late. I go to Walmart solely out of convenience And not because I've ever had a good customer service experience there. It's a shame that customer service is far from what got them to be one of the biggest corporations in the world. read more

No one was answering the phone, after 3 or 4 tries it's like it was forwarded to voicemail and it wouldn't even ring 1 time. The WALMART era has ended!!! Received a pair of Wranglers (to small) for Christmas. Went to exchange WITH RECEIPT but, they were out of my size. Ask for the money back and was denied, asked for gift card and was denied also. I was told that the money can only be return in the same manner it was paid for. In this case, a Debit card. Well, it was a gift and the people live in Seattle. Contacted corporate and was told: "the manager has the option of refunding or not". With Walmart not matching, not refunding, changing deli formula, replacing name brands with "great Value", I have no reason to shop there any longer. Veggies are cheaper and fresher at Sprouts Meats are cheaper at other places (Wednesday adds) Target has a better return policy and they match Best Buy will match in electronics Amazon for anything else and no long lines Bye, bye Walmart, you might be a "one stop" store for the naive but, I will spend my $6K/yr grocery expenditure somewhere else! read more

Every time I visit a Walmart I always say i'm never coming back.. This location is less busy and cleaner than the belle isle location that is for sure. I've done order pickup and everytime my order has been accurate. One time, they pulled the wrong size diaper I ordered and the associate was so nice to go look through the new arrival they had just got to pull my the correct size - he was so kind. The location is great as its right next to sams, target, aldi, etc. super convenient. I've also done grocery pickup which was also super easy and never a long wait. Walmart is where dreams are born. It is the Hollywood for those seeking fame. I mean after all they have a website devoted to the people of Walmart. Look out People magazine, you have competition! Do you love wearing clothes 5 times smaller than your size to show off your glamour shots, only to kick start your modeling career?Then look no further. Be prepared to put your hands in the wet concrete and have the next hollywood star. Don't get discourage by the wait, you are in a open casting call. They only have two people working at all times, and if patient you will be seen, and possibly casted in the next reality show! Because I am apparently a masochist (or terminal optimist), I didn't learn from my horrible oil change experience at the Belle Isle Wal-Mart and decided to give the Memorial Rd Wal-Mart a shot. Sharing the good news first, the young lady behind the register was great- friendly, competent, and quick. Now for the bad news- unfortunately, I can't say the same for the rest of the employees. When I handed my keys to the man who checked me in, he looked both dumbfounded and terrified by my (common, simple) car alarm and, when I paid for my service, I learned that in changing my vehicle's oil, they'd broken the dipstick. A dipstick. How do you manage to ruin a dipstick. Someone had scribbled a note on my receipt about refunding the cost of a new dipstick so I do appreciate that but I'd prefer if they have to break parts during the maintenance process, they choose items to destroy that they can replace on site. The nice lady at the register needs to be working someplace more deserving of her. I'd rather learn to change my own oil than go to Wal-Mart again. read more

I am disabled and hungry. It took a week of selecting and reselecting due to my disability and an ever-changing product catalogue, I received my EBT card on EO. I entrusted the Walmart store to deliver on its promise of food within the time frame WALMART stated was available and RELIED upon Walmart's agreement to provide the food within this time frame and have gone without food waiting on it. THEN instead of communicating with me with TRUTHFUL information, I waited up all night after that time passes worried my order might appear and spoil on my porch as the website continued to say it was "Delayed." The store REFUSED to answer the phone and chat support had NO ANSWERS! NOW the order is CANCELED altogether instead of RESOLVING the absolute FAILURE to fulfill it's contractual obligation. I CANNOT EAT DIGITS ON A CARD nor work another stores system within a reasonable time frame because of my disability and hunger and am FORCED to reorder. After this complete disregard for HUMANITY, my food will not arrive for ANOTHER 2 DAYS!!! This is CRUEL!!! Had Walmart advertised it's ACTUAL ability to deliver food base on known demand requests on this day in the selected time frame or CLOSE TO IT instead of LYING, I could have reached out to another resource before all my food was GONE to get HELP! Instead, Walmart FRAUDULENTLY misstated its ability to fulfill my and other's orders. WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!!!! At the end of December my Doctor called in a new prescription for me. I gave her the wrong number. I thought she hadn't called it in because it wasn't at the walmart I usually go to. I get my bill and see that it was called into this one. I call to ask them if the prescription had been called in to them. The person on the phone said yes. I said I only need to have the 30mg filled, since I had received the 60 by mail. At this time I was getting sick and I didn't want to make a run to walmart. I decided to try and get some cold medication at the same time. I get the stuff then get in line. There was only one person in front of me. And it took FoReVeR. Again, I was sick and new I was cranky. I just wanted to get the prescription and cold medication. FINALLY, its my turn. They say we don't have the medication. I say but I just called and spoke to someone. I told them I only needed the 30mg because I had received the 60 in the mail. They told me 1 hour ago that it would be filled and I could get my prescription. Then she talks to the pharmacist to tells me I need to talk to my insurance. Huh?????? Why would I need to talk to them? They need to talk to them. I really had no patience. I was so irritated and angry. So I bought the cold stuff and went home. Told myself I will go to the pharmacy where I normally go, which is off of Rockwell. It is a Neighborhood market. I never really have a problem there. A few days later I go to the Rockwell pharmacy. I had been going here for a while. I hadn't had any complications since I had been going here. I went there and told them what happened. That the script wasn't in the system according to the other walmart. They looked it up, told me it had been canceled by the other walmart. So the pharmacist called the other walmart and asked why they had canceled it. They said it was because it had already been filled, which it hadn't. I had 60 mg filled by mail, this was an additional 30 mg. The doctors wanted me to be on a total of 90 mgs of this drug. Then they told her that I had the written script, I said no, it was called in by my doctor. How can I had the script?!?!??!?!? So the pharmacist at Rockwell fixed the script and had it filled. It is crazy to me that a pharmacist just cancels a prescription! Then tells me I need to talk to my insurance. Avoid at all cost, if you can! read more

I was treated very good by employees, I was looking for "Wheat Germ" in the cereal aisle, everything had been moved. I was helped by 3 or 4 VERY HELPFUL employees, even looking in other aisles where we thought it might be. It was found by an employee, on her day off, she said she works in cosmetics, (I joked maybe I should get some "pink and purple hi-lights in my beard" They ALL went above and beyond to help me in a very stressful time. I am a recently diagnosed adult AUTISTIC, 53 years old, and they saved me from a meltdown. They worked in a way that calmed me down and made me feel important. This is my fourth trip into this location to buy several hundreds of dollars of plants. But why would I buy anything here. The plants are dead or almost dead. I called the store main number but no answer to let someone know. Maybe they don't know. So on this trip I asked for a manager after I found an associate in pharmacy with a walkie-talkie. She called and Amber answered and said she would be over. I told her about the condition of the plants and she knew they were watered from 6-9. I told her the plants were dying as needed watered. She said that there was nothing she could do. I asked her to go look at them with me and she refused to go look. I suggested that the watering system may not be working correctly and she rudely stated, "how do you know our watering system is broke". I simply said, "if you would just take the time to look, you might see why I believe it's not working correctly "! She would not come look. Managers name is Amber. Your commercials state you want us to buy from Walmart to help generate jobs for your nurseries. Look at the pictures. I took plenty. I can take more if your managers don't have the time to even act like they care. My name is Larry Jackson. I would love to talk to a district manager.
