I use their auto department frequently in the summer months (it's hot out!!!) They always have my car ready ahead of the scheduled time and never push any services on me. I drop it off, go shopping for 30-45 minutes and car is done. So convenient!!! read more

Went to purchase a beach chair clearly marked 14.76 , when scanned it came up 39.95. an employee tried to help but asst manager tried to talk down to me. said that 39.95 is the price and items are marked all over the store that way in basic i could take the 1000.00 i spend a month for food ,clothes ect. elsewhere im only a drop in the bucket. this burnt me up. you know enough drops in that bucket and you have a full pail. tried to speak to Janet the manage she was pleasant but was no help either. walmart needs to treat it customers a lot better. One of the most disgusting places I can think of. I was walking around the store for quite awhile picking up some things and I needed to use the restroom I walked in and there was feces smeared on the ground as well as the entire bathroom covered in toilet paper, I almost couldn't even use it. Besides the disgusting bathroom the store was also very un kept up with. The floors browning and the ceiling seeming of water damage. It definitely needed some updating as well as a decent cleaning crew. read more

I didn't catch his name but he's a rrrrreally tall, young guy. I'd say early twenties. He was extremely friendly, respectful, and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable. This is NOT a Walmart Super Store...it is old, small and usually very crowded and finding a parking place is difficult. This store needs torn down and a real Super Walmart like the one at Ormond Beach needs to be built here. I shop Aldi's, Publix and Wynn Dixie to not have to put up with this horrid too small Walmart that too often has empty shelves due to not having the space to properly stock them. We love Walmart so come on and give us a Super Walmart...100,000 residents would appreciate it. read more

This Walmart was built small because the Palm Coasters in the late 1980s did not want a big box store- same fate with the Home Depot. The aisles are extra small with two parallel carts barely touching each other- Shopping at this Palm Coast Walmart is like shopping in Moscow during the Brezhnev years- normal groceries like frozen spinach or frozen corn will be sold out and may take months before it reappears- Prune juice, yogurt lemon juice, half & half is never stocked and always missing- people switch out the eggs to save 30 cents- they will pick grapes or cherries out of the bags and eat as they shop- The shopping carts are disgusting with tissues or wet wipes stuck inside the cart and not removed- An effort was made six months ago to bring in about fifty new carts- a small pittance- I was going to buy a watermelon once but the Produce clerk warned me they've been sitting on a truck for weeks- Any given night after 7 pm they roll out mountains of skids of groceries blocking the main aisles- it's not uncommon to have to walk the entire length of the store to get to the other side of the same aisle- They will close the liquor store if more cashiers are needed in the supermarket-I've met some nice clerks that work there through the years- it's a shame the way they are treated- Other Walmart's in St Augustine or Ormond are clean well stocked and provide a nice shopping experience- but we are stuck with this turkey of a store which is truly the bottom of the barrel. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I went there to buy a gaming system. I was deciding between X Box 360 and the new X Box One. So many employees walking around but not a one stops to see if I need help. I finally ask for help the employee walks away and grabs someone else. Doesn't even say anything to me. Completely rude. The other guy walks with me to the game aisle. He gives me the prices and I'm fairly certain I want the 360 with the kinect so he says he'll go see if they have any because there are none on the shelf. He never came back. I went and looked 15 mins later and he's on the floor doing who knows what. Not helping anyone that's for sure. So, will I go back to buy that 650$ tv this weekend? No. So did they just lose out on 650 plus 149 for X Box plus the 99 for the kinect plus the games I would have bought? YEP. Big sale, but I guess they don't need the money. Clearly they're not in the business to make money. They're just there to ruin small businesses and commit all the other evils that they commit in this world. I'm going back to boycotting Walmart after this shitastic experience. Their pet section doesn't make sense either. Wet dog food and snacks on one aisle none of the big bags of dry food. Next aisle isn't the bags of dog food either. It's cat food. The 3rd aisle which you almost don't notice because it's also the toilet paper aisle is where you'll finally find the bags of dog food. Shouldn't it go in order? All the dog stuff next to each other and then the cat stuff? I guess that would make too much sense. Also, what's with the stench in that store? I'd rather give glowing reviews of stores like I did for Publix..but it was just too terrible to not say anything. read more

Tonight I was at walmart with a few friends and we almost got kicked out because we were "distracting". It was one A.M. and we were just trying to get a video game. I arrived at the Walmart Auto Center entrance a little before 7am today. I had called yesterday and spoken with a lady that said that itvwould be faster to bring my vehicle in on Sunday morning at 7am, when they have there complete group of employees to work on vehicles. Sat was going to be a lot busier. Once I got to the store on Sunday, no one had shown up in the department to work. After waiting with one other gentleman, who also only needed an oil change, at about 7:25am they let us in the department. Other Dept employees began to amble in between 7:30 and 8:00am. James, the Dept Manger came out after I was waiting into the scond hour and began to tell me that I was next- although the other gentleman that I was waiting with for the auto store to open had already had his oil changed and had been gone for 30 minutes or so. They had pulled in three other vehicles qnd started those prior to mine. They then pulled mine in. After another 20 minutes they told me I was ready. I went outside to get my vehicle and both my left and right sides of my front hoods Nick, the Store Manager on duty came up to see my vehicle that was smeared with oil directed the department Manager, James, to refund my money for the oil change. Nick said that he would follow-to retrain to ensure that this does not happen to other customers. Who can believe this, all for a simple oil change. read more

I was in this store today and saw a man with a dog in the grocery cart. I asked an employee working in the front of the store what the policy regarding dogs was. He said they have to be on a leash. I pointed the man out and the employee advised him of the policy. The man said he didn't know and didn't have a leash. The man was able to continue shopping. I would have directed him to the pet department and advised him to purchase a leash or remove the dog from the store. This was not a service dog. I grew up with dogs and until recently always owned a dog but I never took it into any store let alone a grocery store. I think Walmart should train their employees to handle these situations. Whomever used this cart next and put food where that dog was sitting I'm sure would not appreciate this store not enforcing their rules regarding dogs. read more

The product selections in this Walmart are very limited! They always seem to be out of things that I happen to be looking for. Mostly in the bedding department. I have shopped at better Walmarts. This one is clean and organized well. Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices! Typical Walmart, when it is time to check out. Lots of registers, but very few are ever open. Tempatures are always on the warm side, but all Walmart stores seem very warm to me. Walmart is always the go to store, when we are looking for the best prices. read more

They have the slowest check out lines I have ever seen. There are more people using some kind of government assistance and apparently they don't know how to use it. They should have seperate lines for people on assistance, because those of us who have to work for a living can't wait 15 minutes to check out. read more

I have been going to Walmart stores from FL to ME for several years. For the most part everyone in every store was very friendly and helpful. This past year at the Palm Coast Walmart the majority of the employees were not helpful. Many times if I asked where something was, I would be told that it is over there or I do not work in that dept. The dept where you sell cell phones is very rude. I have been there several times about purchasing a tracfone and I get sharp and unfriendly answers. The rude people stay seated on their butts and do not have the manners to stand up and talk to the customer. I finally got someone in that dept to help me transfer my cell phone to a Walmart bought tracfone last Fri. On Mon I went to that dept and asked if their was a problem because I still could not use the new phone. I was told bluntly by the guy sitting on his butt that it can take 10 min to 10 days. All he wanted to do is to get rid of me. I was on the phone with the tracfone people today for 32 minutes to correct what Walmart did or did not do to make the phone work. You may have some good prices on things but it is not worth putting up with arrogate employees. read more
