Based on several visits to both locations -- the Palm Coast shop (about 3 times) and the Flagler Beach shop (about 2 times) -- the biggest challenge here is the customer service. The staff just isn't the friendliest in town. The interactions often feel very transactional: you're here to buy a product and I'm here to hand it to you. No greeting when entering, no real warmth when leaving -- just neutral service. It's a bit surprising when you learn the businesses are owned by a local pastor. You would assume making customers feel welcomed would be a top priority. That said, during today's visit we did see what great service could look like. A regular customer walked in and one employee greeted her enthusiastically while another double-checked her order because it wasn't her "usual." That was wonderful to see -- I just wish that same energy was given to everyone walking through the door. Now for the reason we came today. Each day they post a "name of the day" on Facebook where someone with that name gets a free donut or ice cream from their sister shop. I follow along and love letting friends know when their name pops up. I've even redeemed one myself before. It's just one of those small things that makes people smile. On Sundays we usually grab breakfast somewhere on the way to church. Last week I saw their March specialty donuts posted and one looked like something our daughter would really enjoy, so we made a detour from our usual (and cheaper) breakfast spot to stop here. And to give credit where it's due -- the donuts themselves are fantastic. They're creative, fun, and genuinely delicious specialty donuts. Not your average donut shop offering. On quality alone, the donuts are easily 5 stars. Clearly a lot of people love this place, and I can understand why -- the donuts are excellent. You can smell the doughy goodness as soon as you pull up in front of the store. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Gunner, who was waiting on another customer. The trendy grass wall and space in the back for kids gives it a homey feeling. IG doesn't do the donuts justice, they are basically works of art. Each handcrafted donut is soft with a dough that was kneaded with love. You can taste the freshness in the creams, frostings and glazes. I strongly suggesting branching out into a larger location as it can get cramped waiting for your turn to order. We'll make the hour drive again. read more

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and let me just say, I am in love!! First off, such a cute location with such a cozy atmosphere. You walk in and everything is bee themed, which is super cute and so satisfying as a designer coming here for the first time! (What can I say, I looooove some cohesive branding ) The service was not super friendly, but they were also pretty busy so maybe that was part of it. I ordered a steak, egg, and bacon breakfast sandwich and it was incredible! Also ordered a coffee to try, and a donut to split with my partner; the coffee and donut were good, but the breakfast sandwich was the main star of the show! This was our first time trying Swillerbees, all we had was a donut. The texture was pretty good and the icing was delicious. Not the best we've ever had but still solid. The staff is very nice. Ambiance is just okay, lots of sunlight that blinds you in the seating area. It's in a good location near a lot of other shopping and food. Plenty of parking. They also have some outdoor seating available. Prices are a little high. Around $2.50 per individual donut. read more

Stopped by today and they completely screwed up my order. ordered a lox and there is just salmon in this. No cream cheese no capers. Ordered a half sweet half unsweet tea large was given a medium tea with half and half milk til her it was wrong she remade the drink but still gave us a medium. Worst experience here spent $63 on bullshit. Want my money back. This is the second time they have screwed up our order in the last 3 weeks. Came here as part of a Mother's Day celebration in a trip out to the coast. Heard this place had excellent donuts and excellent breakfast sandwiches. Both rumors were true. The majority of their customers were grab 'n' go, so there were definitely more cars parked around than their parking lot had capacity for, so it was the wild west of parking, but once we found a spot in some sand somewhere, we joined the impressive line out the door. Once the line shuffled indoors, you got the chance to explore the donut case. Everything from the regular Chocolate Frosted and Boston Cream to the elevated Maple Bacon and Miami Vice. Once you drool your way over to the counter, you get the chance to order. I, of course, got the Miami Vice (Glazed, topped with sweet cream cheese, guava and vanilla drizzle). Mix a guava queso pastele with a donut, and yes, this was a 10/10. And the size was perfect, too. Not those itty bitty Krispy donut, and not those Giant, gourmet donuts flooding the market. Just the perfect size. I was a fan. I also ate a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel that was heavenly. Good sized egg, double the cheese, and a some crispy bacon. Melty, soft, and the bagel was loaded with everything seasoning. Like, loaded. There are also many pre-made Signature Lattes to choose from. I got the Campfire (chocolate, marshmallow, graham cracker). Very delicious. If you like it flavored flavored sweet sweet, you might want to ask for some extra pumps of the syrups. But overall, this was a nice little brunch. Good coffee, good sandwich, good donuts. Nothing to complain about here. read more

After you're reading the reviews and seeing some of the pictures from the reviewers, I expected great things,. The ambience and the selection of baked goods is brilliant, especially in an area like Palm Coast, with that said the steak egg and cheese bagel was severely lacking. There was not enough meat. The egg was severely ever cooked, and the bagel for lack of a better word was like somebody sat on it by mistake steamed in the aluminum foil and was rubbery. They definitely need to work on that.Now the donuts on the other hand or something entirely special I don't care how much stuff you put on the top. It's the base the donut itself is the star of the show here at a reasonable price with a great cup of coffee, which also I should mention is Superb.I had a caramel macchiato that was amazing and the staff was super kind and helpful. I will make this a go to place I would recommend recommended for anybody looking for a very affordable brunch with a sweet tooth ending. I gave it three stars because of the fact the sandwich was so lacking and flavorless . not enough meat in the sandwich and the eggs so badly overcooked that is can't be overlooked and should not be happening when all you do is sell three or four egg and bagel sandwiches. We just moved here to Palm Coast and found our to go breakfast spot. The service is awesome, even when packed, they greet people out the door. Our sandwiches were so good. Mines was a croissant egg cheese and sausage and I didn't expect the sausage to be double and so delicious! My husband ordered the asiago bagel with cream cheese tomato onion and bacon and he loved it! My girls loved the sweets and my oldest really liked the s'mores coffee. Lucky enough to have a little spare time to grab a little breakfast Friday before work ... the Boston Crème were delicious ... the crème/donut ratio was perfect! We tried ginger, Boston cream, vanilla with sprinkles (that one was an unexpected fav), and can't remember the last flavor. I wish they had more options with nuts like a pistachio one I tried when they were at the beach location. Hot special coffee and teas and regular coffee . Today I got the classic glazed dount and glazed chocolate sprinkle dount . Also got one of there new breakfast sandwiches which was the steak n Egg n Cheese got it on a onion bagel so good . My only suggestion is add more meat to your sandwiches. We love Swillerbees, especially the Flagler Beach location. We were excited for the Palm Coast location, but unfortunately, it has struggled since opening. I visited three days in a row before work, and each time, they were out of several items well before the morning rush. For instance, one morning, they had run out of croissants, veggie cream cheese, and almond milk by 7:20 AM, despite not being busy. It's clear that the owners have invested much more time and effort into the Flagler Beach location, neglecting Palm Coast since its opening. This location has potential. The young staff members are pleasant and clearly trying, but the store needs more attention from management. It's frustrating to see them open a new location in the meantime. I hope they will give this location the attention it deserves. read more

Great staff and really good donuts, though I won't say they were great. We ordered an apple fritter, a cronut type of thing and 2 peanut butter donuts. The cronut thing was really good, great texture and flavor. The peanut butter ones, while attractive were a let down. I was hoping they'd actually contain peanut butter cream in them, instead of having just a rosette from a pipping bag on the top. The donut was rather unmemorable, as it was a plain glazed underneath the decoration, but it was quite moist and tasted good. The apple fritter was dry though the glaze on the top was unique as it was not just the typical powered sugar glazed. Apple fritters can be tough, there's a tipping point between texture and moistness. You have to have just the right amount of oil present, to the right amount of apple filling. These almost tasted like they were baked. The team member who helped me was fantastic, and even let me know there was an upcharge for the fritter (which I appreciated). The store was clean, and the music level was just right. Would I come back? If I was on that side of town, most likely, would I again drive 30 minutes to get a donut, most likely not. read more

I'm visiting fam here in FL and I love trying donuts everywhere. This place was just the cutest. Their donuts are fluffy and delicious. You have to try the strawberry Nutella , that one was yummy. Also tried they're cinnamon donut which reminded me a lot of a malasada which is a popular donut in Hawaii. The staff was so friendly and recommended an iced coffee which I'm glad I went with.
