This is the super store in Patterson . It is a huge size Walmart with groceries, pharmacy , ophthalmologist and all the other Walmart items . Today we saw a lot of Easter items . They are so cute and the choices are amazing! I am very impressed by how much inspiration they have from Easter holiday to all kinds of merchandise they are selling . Many types of plastic egg shells and many kinds of candies and toys to go inside . There are stuffed animals , cute mini bunny toys , craft , eggs shells coloring kits , hand paints eggs and bunnies kits , stickers , big bags of name brand candy bars, Easter gift buckets of different merchandise inside , all packed and decorated nicely and ready to go . Ever since they got the new manager customer service has not been a priority. I've called for the deli section the past 4 days starting at 7:45 am until 6 pm. I've tried to reach a HUMAN BEING that I can talk to in the deli section or at least an operator. No such luck. And there is no line to a manager. I want to order something that they used to carry and trying to find out why it isn't in stock. It's available at save mart deli across the street. My sister and I spend 2k in that store every month. My husband's family lives out here so whenever we need something last-minute grocery wise or outdoor stuff we usually come here. I'm really not used to coming to Walmart, I won't lie- my usual spot is target, But surprisingly I do like this location. The Walmart near where I live just feels kind of Cramped in comparison. I've done grocery shopping here, holiday shopping here (flowers), clothing shopping here, pretty much anything you name I've been able to find and purchase here. Anytime I need help and have asked an employee they've been very helpful and friendly. It seems like they're always busy doing something like putting items away or helping customers. The only reason for four stars instead of a full five stars is just because there have been a couple occasions where I've gone here where there has been clothing strewn about and quite a bit of items out of place. read more

I ordered the delivery order with 16 items. When they delivered it for individual items were placed in one bag each. Now that's only 40 cents for the bags, but after 3 years of going through two different types of cancer, it makes a difference. It's why I ordered delivery, because my immune system is compromised and I try to avoid crowds during flu season. Why would an individual package of sliced cheese need a bag by itself? A loaf of bread was in another bag by itself, another loaf of bread was also in a bag BY ITSELF. And last a box of Zatarain's jambalaya, bagged completely by itself. While the rest of my items were bagged into two bags. I don't usually complain about things, and I understand that baggers need to be careful with certain items while bagging and they are transported. But this just seems ridiculous to me considering that you're charging for these damn plastic bags. Now I called the store, simply to voice my opinion and not complain. I wasn't mad it was just annoying. I was told that the manager was busy, and they took down my information for her to call me back. That was THREE days ago! I have worked retail, I have worked retail and management, I know it's annoying to take customers complaints. But I also knew that it without the customers I wouldn't get a paycheck, so it's our job to make them happy, if we can. This store lacks good management. I have a few months left with my Walmart + membership, after that time is up I will be canceling my membership. I would rather drive to Turlock and pick up groceries at Target, who doesn't rip off customers with bag fees. The funny thing is I'm posting this knowing that Walmart won't even acknowledge it, again because they have poor management skills and they don't care about making things right with their customers. You really can't blame the employees I guess, since they barely make a livable wage if they do at all. I would say that you need to do better, Walmart, but I know that in the upcoming years you won't have to because all you care about is money. They have good deals sometimes but!WATCH OUT! They have stuff on clearance and then refuse to honor it! Besides that the customer service end is kinda meh. The handicap fitting room is filled with carts, was there and a disabled lady wanted to try clothes and the stall was filled with crap! The older lady working over there couldn't even pull the carts out and my mom had to go get another worker to try and help her out and she gave so much attitude! And then only having 2-3 registers open and then rest are self checkout but if you have too many items they send you to normal lines?? what's the point of SELF CHECKOUT if you can't checkout when there are 0 notices about a limit. Also you need to watch out if you're getting yogurt or anything because they like letting the expired stuff just stay on the shelf and even if you let a worker know they won't do anything. They also let meat product like chicken sit out and become luke warm and then put it on the shelf! that will literally kill someone! They have gone way downhill since first opening, feems more ghetto every time i go. read more

Nice store, but as I was shopping it kind of felt like I always had an employee watching over me as if I was going to steal something. I decided to brush it off but low & behold, I went to check out & in the middle of me scanning my items the employee watching the self check out area came to my register and checked EVERY item that I had scanned. It was about 7:30 a.m. so there were hardly any other customers, and I know she'd been watching me scan stuff. As I'm watching her check all of my items, she is saying nothing--no explanation of why she's going through everything I scanned. I finally asked her if there was a problem. Her rude response was, "I didn't do anything, this thing made me come over here" and she pointed to a little unit in her hand. I looked at her crazy and told her, "Well it looks like there is a problem since you're going through everything". Maybe she didn't expect me to speak perfect English--idk. I almost left my cart there & walked out, but decided to just finish, pay & get tf out of there. I felt targeted. It was my first time at that location & it'll be my last. read more

I politely asked the long haired gentleman working the door if he could let the employees who handle the carts, know that the carts in the big area right when you walk in were full of garbage and old clothing . One shopping cart even had a dirty diaper in it ! On my way out of the store nothing had changed. So I poked my head back in the door and said hey the carts still have all that garbage in them . He looked at it and turned around back to his chair playing a game on his cell phone . This is disgusting I shop here with my family . Obviously it's not the Walmarts fault that the public is doing this, but still they shouldn't be putting the carts away in that condition . It wasn't only one cart it was probably 6 that were full of garbage . The diaper was practically smelling up the whole entry hall . ! This is the only Walmart in Patterson, but it needs major improvements in terms of customers service and more friendly cashiers, also the returns department need more friendly people. I did returns 3 times the 1 yr I've bent in Patterson and all 3 experience was horrible. When Walmart 1st opened it was organized, clean, helpful employees and so forth, well, that ship sailed a long a×× time ago. As time passed, slowly and surely the cracks began to show, smiles turned to frowns and the whole atmosphere seemed, depressing as heck. Take today for example, went in to grab a few items around 10am. Employees were stocking items, isles were blocked off by carts, couldn't they re-stock earlier? As I tried to reach for an item above a worker since they were stocking, I said," excuse my reach, she replied, " Just don't drop things on my head." :/ Yeah, I just went pfffhhhht and walked away. It's also a pain how they never have enough registers open, only 2 lanes in the morning and self checkouts. Customers were forming long lines and I see employees walking by without bothering to open more check-out lines. Shopping is limited in Patterson unless you have time to spare I guess. I don't understand the negative feedback on this Walmart. This is one of the cleanest and well stocked Walmarts besides the one in Ceres. If you want to go to a dirty and ghetto Walmart then take a drive to the one in Manteca it will make you miss the one in Patterson read more

The customer service here has gone way downhill. I have had to call the store from my personal phone just to get an employee to come to any aisle that is locked up. If you're going to lock up items at least schedule employees to cover those areas. Waiting over 10 mins just for them to hand me face wash is not good customer service. Some of the workers are slow and not willing to help! I needed nail clippers and the worker said she would be there to help, we'll, she walked passed me and asked another lady to help and she said she couldn't she had to help someone else, so she walked away. I ordered a treadmill from Walmart.com it was delivered 150 miles from where I live. I called customer service they said they would reschedule delivery, I never received my item. I called about three times before I could get a refund. I finally got a refund for the cost of the unit wish was 299.00 but they kept $24.00 in taxes.I made about 7 or 8 calls to get my money back. Every person I've talked to says they will take care of it and still I haven't received all my money. It's not a lot of money but it's mine. I hope this is not common practice for them. Every time I stop by Walmart the shelves are in disarray and they have pallets full of items sitting around blocking the aisles. A definite hazard for customers and an inconvenience for anyone having to use a handicap scooter. Seems that Management needs to revisit their process on restocking the shelves. Come on Patterson!! They don't even deserve one star. I shop at 6am to beat the crowds and buy a full cart of groceries and they only have the self check open. There's not enough room to put the groceries you've scanned so they have to go on the floor until there's room in your cart. The touchscreens are barely responsive when you have to look something up or weigh fruits and veggies. I've complained to the store manager and corporate with no results. Go here often and the last time we went we noticed we were charged twice for an item so we asked one of the employees how do we take care of this and her suggestion was you can just go grab another one or go through the trouble and wait at customer service to get reimbursed , so we definitely didn't want the same item twice so we went to wait in line for it seemed like 15 minutes and when it was our turn the cashier in customer service suggested we go get the same item again instead of them paying us back , so we said no and it seemed like an inconvenience for her . Went here last night to get a bag of soil to transplant our aloe vera and the garden section was closed! It was 6:30pm and all of the garden area was locked up. We asked a couple employees why it was locked and they said it's up to the manager but it closes at 6pm. We explained that we just needed a bag of soil but neither of them offered to open it up or to ask the manager. Not only that but both doors were closed where we parked so we had to walk all the way down to the other entrance which was at the opposite end. My boyfriend is on crutches so walking the length of the store four times (to the entrance, to the garden area, back to the open doors, back to the car) was difficult and annoying being we were unable to get what we came there for. Overall it looked like it was a nice Walmart but based on that experience I don't plan on going back. I still don't get why they would close an entire part of the store at 6pm. read more

This is the biggest WM I've ever been too. Nice, brand new... Fully stocked!! Grocery section is a pretty decent size with a great selection. Lots of employees to help if you need help with anything! Plenty of registers... Employees are smiling :0) great first experience. Will def be a frequent flyer!! I'm so happy it's finally here!! Absolutely the dirtiest Walmart I have ever been in. Store shelves are not stocked, employees are extremely rude.

I am so unhappy about going to make purchases and noting the prices of items just to find out that the prices on the shelves are not the same as the register. There have been several times I have purchased items that are marked one price on the shelf and are higher at the register. Sometimes it is just a few cents but other times it has been more than a dollar. Maybe whoever enters in the prices to the system should be updated daily so that there would not be so many discrepancies. I shop at your store almost daily and I am beginning to think i have to make a log for prices to check when I check out. read more

I went to Patterson Walmart this morning with a long list but no handy caped scoters were at the door I went in. The door assistant said that they might have one at the other door but she could not call (she had not gotten a communication device) and would not check for me to see if one was there. I can not walk to the other end of the store so I left again. This has happened several times. This Walmart refuses to take care of their scoters. They let kids play on them and break them. They refuse to follow people out and retrieve them so they do not get stolen. They do not want handy caped people in their store it seems. Customer service gets 5 stars. Returned a used RV sewer drain hose for a friend. They were totally grossed out, but good sports about it. First time I've ever seen a guy in public with an ankle bracelet. Shopping with his mom. Wonder what he did? What looked like a short line turned out to be attended by an extreme couponer. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. Clerks walk around not doing anything. I asked for help a few times and they said "they can help you", and walked away because they are lazy and don't want to work. I don't understand how there are so many workers there standing around chit chatting while people need help. I find it super annoying how they close an hour earlier than they used to , so 11pm, and they still lock the door at 1045 according to the employee i asked that didnt let me in. I hate last minute shoppers too but they see me sprinting to the store knowing damn well im going to be fast but nope, they super serious about closing an already empty walmart.
