My son has purchased a couple boards, has taken a few boards there to get grip tape installed and has bought some clothes from here. Everytime I have taken him the service has always been impeccable. The gentleman and lady are always so welcoming. The gentleman is very knowledgeable. Last week my son sent me there on my way home from work to pick up bearings cleaner. I know nothing about skateboards and the like nor do I pretend to. I'm probably the equivalent of that old skool example of a woman walking into a mechanic shop...you know the one. The one where it is assumed just because you're a woman you don't know anything and they can say a phalange is missing so in order to install that it's $99...lol! Yeah like that. Anyhow, my husband walked in and asked for bearings cleaner and Justin told him, look don't waste your money. Have your son look up Youtube videos and use rubbing alcohol, gasoline, etc to clean it after taking it a part and then use Speed Cream ($8). He totally could have up sold us and didn't. I so respect that. My son also follows their IG page and every time my son has messaged them, they've been very responsive. Totally recommend this place. The price difference for the Presto's and the Ultraboost's was pretty significant compared to the Nike 270's, but it is true that you get what you pay for when it comes to shoes. Both of these shoes make me feel like I'm walking on clouds. I was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I believe that these shoes will cure the problem in very short order! I wore both pairs out to see how they feel on pavement and I can't even feel the pavement under my feet with these on. The arch support in both of these shoes is unbeatable. They proceeded to tell me the scan machine said I wore a size 10. Whoa, I been wearing a size 9 my entire life except when buying from china and they only have half sizes. So I have wore some size 9 1/2 before but a 10? Lady helping me says "let me just get some 10's and if you don't like them you can fire me". Well, I'm pretty sure this is a waste of time but go ahead. Size 10 on my foot and there 3/4" from my big toe to the tip of the shoe and I got 1/2" side to side. The shoe was like I was gonna be participating at the circus! lol. SO I said no, lol, I'm not interested in a size 10. She went into the spill of how I wouldn't receive the warranty bla bla bla. Do not shop here!…read more I bought 4 pairs of shoes online. Needed to return 2 that didn't fit. While looking for replacement shoes, the manager (Joseph) comes over to ask me if I needed help. I showed him two shoes from the Rack Room website that were currently in stock online. He immediately tells me he doesn't carry basketball shoes in his store, and that I should try Dick's Sporting Goods. That rubbed me the wrong way (say get out of your store without saying get out of your store). I go back to the counter and he is now the cashier. I tell him that there are 2 shoes online that I would like to replace the shoes that were too small. He immediately starts going on and on about how different shopping online is different from shopping in-store and tries to make it seem like he couldn't order me a shoe online and have it shipped to me. I have been shopping with Rack Room for 11 years, and asked "are you trying to tell me you can't order me a shoe online and ship it to my home?" He then back peddles and says he can. However, now, I'm pissed. So, I returned one pair of shoes that I paid full price for. To prevent losing the BOGO, I ordered a shoe to be shipped to my home. Instead of exchanging only the shoe that I brought in-store, he takes it upon himself to return both shoes (the one still at my house, but on receipt) and the ones I actually brought in. This caused me to have to pay $10 more for the shoe at home since that shoe had a promotion at the time that I bought it. When I brought this to his attention, he tried to make it seem like this was the norm. This is quite shady. I immediately called corporate and spoke with Mitch, who assured me that this was not correct and a refund would be posted to my account. However, this had to go through the Warehouse (another department for processing). After 2 weeks, money was not refunded to my account. I returned all shoes purchased from Rack Room and will never shop with Rack Room again. I should mention that while I was in the store, I found 2 pairs of shoes for my 1yo, but needed to bring her to get her sized. You also lost that sale. So, you lost the sale of 6 pairs of shoes due to terrible customer service. Do better. Rack Room, you should thank Joseph for losing money and a long-term customer. You should also enroll Joseph in some Racial Bias courses so that you don't get sued.

I received an email from FedEx saying the shipment was damaged and they aren't delivering it. So I called the store only to be told I have to deal directly with FedEx. I filed a claim with FedEx only to be told that the company is the only one that can file a claim. I called the store corporate headquarters only to be told that since I paid with Debit card it will take 10 WEEKS for them to MAIL me a CHECK (like it's 1980 or something!). They offered me a store credit...like I would ever shop their again knowing that if there is a problem you can't get your money. If you HAVE TO shop here...use a credit card and dispute charges or you will never get your money back!!
