This is not a very good walmart. It's not my fave but it's in my top three. The one on Sorrento is best, the one on Crichton is second best & if I still can't find what I need this is the only other one I will come to. This Walmart rounds out my "last resort" in my top 3 in Pirate'cola. They do have a very good nursery here. I bought a very large lemon tree here for $70 & it's doing great. For several weeks I have had missing items from my grocery deliveries. I have received credit for things like 2 orders from China never arrived and that took 2 months to receive a refund, now the missing grocery items the last 2 weeks totaled over $40. This POS store refunded 1 of the orders but not the other.They now require you to go through other means to get refunded like your bank, credit card, police ect. I will be checking out the new Aldi that is opening Thursday. This store on Hwy 29 is absolutely the worst. BOLO for my membership cancellation. read more

Do NOT go to the Auto Service center. I waited for an hour and half after showing up early for the appt before they told me they couldn't put the tires on I ordered (and had paid in full up front). She told me to call and talk to the manager the next day so I did. He said they could do it and I made another appt. Then they said they didn't have the right socket so I ran to auto store and got it. I told them they could keep the tool so other customers didn't have the same experience. Then they told me No they would just refund me my money because they can't use the socket I bought. AFTER telling me where to go purchase it so they could do the work. Awful! You have been warned. They are rude, unprofessional, and I will Never pull a vehicle up to that auto service center again! read more

Is there a minus10 rating? I bought cartridges from this store. They did not have the HP brand, so I bought the ONN brand (which I find out is a Walmart brand). I put the cartridge that was out in the printer and it worked a couple of weeks, then jammed my ink mechanism. There was nothing the HP rep could do to fix the problem, so I had to purchase another printer. I went to the store and was told that they could not give me my $98 back without a receipt. Would not give me a store credit either. After talking to 4 people, I finally got to a manager who said that ink cartridges were not refundable no matter the reason! I had used only 1one of the 4. They said the ONN company would not take it back either. I thought the company could replace the used one and resell. Come to find out, the ONN company is Walmart brand. I'm on a fixed income so $98 is a lot for me to eat. I had to pay another $50 for the HP cartridges for the new printer I had to buy. I will NEVER EVER step foot in this store again. Their policies suck, and it appears that they don't care about the customer - just about making money. I have done most of my shopping at Walmart, but now they have lost more money than $98 (retail, probably $20 cost) for their shoddy policies. read more

Whatever you do, do NOT go to the dressing room or try to get ahold of customer service! The woman at the dressing room has been HATEFUL to me more than once & this time took the cake! There was no one around that area when I went to the dressing room (customers or workers) & no signs about how much to take in, so I took in all the clothes I had ready. I still went really quickly & skipped trying on a 2nd size if I could tell an item wouldn't work. As soon as I heard someone waiting, I stopped just to be nice & walked out, intending to try on more later. I opened the door & she was standing right there. I told her (in a lighthearted tone), as I started to walk out with a bunch of clothes, that I didn't try them all on & I stopped when I heard someone waiting. She looked at my clothes & in the most HATEFUL tone possible, said, "WOW! I can't believe this!" She had a super nasty look on her face too! I said, "You can't believe I found several things I like & wanted to try on, but I stopped trying them on to be nice?" She mumbled something nasty under her breath. I told my mom, who was there with me, what happened. She went right over to the woman & said (in a very polite tone), "I heard you were talking rudely to my daughter." She said (in a rude tone, ironically), "I did NOT talk rudely to her!" My mom (who's known me for almost 38 years & knows I'm not a liar) said, "I believe my daughter over you. I know she doesn't lie!" The woman said, "Well I'm sorry if she FEELS like I was rude, but she had about 15 pieces of clothing & I just said 'Wow!'" My mom asked for her name & she said, "Cynthia," but I saw that her mannered said "Janice." Hmm... She said some other stuff in a hateful tone, but I had to walk off because I didn't want to say something that, as a good Christian woman, I'd regret! Apparently, she told my mom, who wanted to try something on as well, "We just started something new. When that man comes out of the dressing room, you can go in with up to 6 things, then you can come out & he can go back in with more of his clothes, & if you want to try on more, you can try them on THEN!" My mom said something (in a nice way) about how there should be more than 1 dressing room open. The woman rudely told her the other 2 are broken. My mom told her, "That's not my fault & I don't think I, or the other customers, should be punished for that." She said, "Well, it's not MY fault either!" Meanwhile, I tried to call the store to report her. After 3 failed attempts to actually get an answer, I went to customer service. There were 3 women working & a long line of customers. 2 of the workers just walked off! Idk if they went on break or just went to work in a different area, but that was NOT the time to leave only 1 person working! Another lady joined her a little while later & these 2 women worked hard & were very nice! When it was finally my turn, I told the girl I needed to talk to a personnel manager about an employee. She said, "She actually went home around 2 today, but she'll be back early in the morning." The other girl had her personal number & called it for me. The personnel manager told her to tell me to talk to the manager on duty & let her know if there were any issues. I was led to the manager. When I got there, she was like, "If you're looking for the manage, it's me! I'm the manager!" I wasn't looking around for her, so I thought that was weird, but whatever. I tried to tell her what happened, but she kept looking at the 2 or 3 people waiting in the money center line, where she was working. She actually interrupted me without hearing much, & walked away from me, towards the other customers, & said, "I'm gonna go over here & help them now. I'll talk to her in a little while." I calmly smiled & said thank you, but walked off absolutely furious that after all of that, after waiting OVER AN HOUR to even talk to someone about it, I was treated like I didn't even matter & those couple of people who had JUST walked up to that line matters so much more than me! To top it all off, the front bathroom was closed the entire time we were there! I told my mom & we were OVER it! We left all our stuff in the buggy & walked out, vowing to never go back to that location unless it was absolutely essential! (I'm someone that takes my boycotts very seriously! I've been boycotting certain places/companiesfor 15-20 years at this point!) We're both VERY loyal Walmart customers, but we'll do all our shopping at other locations (especially our main location)! Was in the store 25 minute before they were closing and my friend was RUNNING to the register right at closing time and they just laughed at him and told him sorry and took all of the stuff he got away and told him to leave because "we closed". If you closed, why did you let us in the store?? How about you are closed once you stop people from coming in...don't let people come in and pick everything out and then just take it from them when they might need all of that stuff that they got. We all understand that everyone wants to get home, but you are paid for working there, have some respect for your customers. I came into Walmart to grab a bunch of bulky things. There were no carts anywhere to grab. I was trying to balance everything that I got in my hands. I was making a lot of noise because I was walking around with multiple storage containers. Each step I was kicking them. I passed several workers that looked at me, contemplating to help, and decided to turn around a walk away. Random customers were helping me get a better grip on everything. But not ONE worker helped me at all. I understand that they can't always have carts readily available. (Again useless) Situation: Bought a rifle on Saturday the 16th, took over an hour and a half to get a maanger because the Associates are considered unable to perform the tasks of selling a gun. They made me wait until THURSDAY the 21st to pick up a rifle, a rifle not a hand gun, with CCW mind you. Mark called for assistance multiple times and I personally heard "Natalie" answer. An hour later Mark went to PHYSICALLY get her, PHYSICALLY. And when she arrived she told Mark he should have called her. WHAT?! I looked right at her and told her that I heard her respond to him myself. After ANOTHER half hour she said she had to call another manager "Mike". WHY you may ask? Because "Natalie" had not a CLUE as to what she was doing. But guess what? It did not end there, once "Mike" arrived, HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING EITHER! 4 HOURS of WASTED TIME BECAUSE OF INEPTITUDE! ABSOLUTELY UNSAT! You want some good advice? This has to be the worst Walmart ever! We were evacuating from Hurricane (I don't remember it's damn name) and stopped here because we had our 4 cats with us in carriers and they needed food as well as water bowls. Yes, we brought their food with us, but we through everything in the car so quickly trying to get out that it was buried under a mass of other stuff. Also, since we didn't bring their litter boxes or litter, we thought we'd grab that too since we were stopping. It was hot as hell, and I wasn't leaving my cats I the car. So we grabbed a cart and put the carriers in it (with the cats, of course). Hubby tried to tell me we couldn't take the cats in. Bullshit. We're evacuating from a hurricane... I dared someone to say something to me! So we get in the store and get to the pet section and they don't have one single litter box. They also didn't have the food my cats eat. My cats were stressed out enough, so I wasn't about to change their food. So until we could find another Walmart to stop at, just water would have to do. I got a couple of bowls and we proceeded to the back of the store where (normally) the family restroom is located so I could at least give them water. They didn't have a family restroom. I couldn't contain the cats on my own in a large handicapped stall in the regular women's restroom, so I went in and made sure there were no other women in there. There weren't. In we went with the cats. We let them out two at a time to get water. Bless their hearts, they were already shedding like crazy from the stress and my cats don't shed. We finished up and low and behold when we exited the restroom there was a male manager there ready to scold us because my husband went in the restroom. Now, mind you, the entire time we were in their tiny ass restroom, no one else came in. Needless to say, I let the manager have it. I was stressed, my husband was stressed, my cats were stressed, we had been in the car forever because of traffic, and we had no idea if we were even going to have a home to return to... the last thing I needed was for this bullshit manager to give me hell for giving my cats water when we were kinda, sorta, just a tiny bit, in an emergency situation! It's not my damn fault they didn't have a family restroom like every other Walmart I've been in! Remodel your damn store! Anyway, we ended up buying nothing but the two bowls we had used for water. We all left more stressed than we already were going in; but, at least my poor babies got water. Thanks for having a little compassion for a family evacuating from a CAT 4 Hurricane! Appreciate it! Walmart in general is no longer a place to go buy stuff at a substantial discount to other sources, so I really don't go as often as I used to. I mention that to frame my experience at this particular Walmart. Holy carp. The parking lot is full of insane people. Apparently, a sheriff's deputy stalks the parking lot full-time, ticketing vehicles lacking the requisite permit that park in handicap parking spaces. And also, to try to preserve a modicum of decorum among the People of Walmart. Always a zoo, and always a wait to check out. I know what you're doing here, Walmart: You're encouraging your shoppers to use self-checkout to save you payroll and benefits on cash register jockeys. It doesn't work well, because there are too many items that require an over-ride by the single Walmart employee monitoring the battery of self-checkout stations. That slows down everything and creates a lot of frustration among shoppers. Again, Walmart is no longer a place where I can save a substantial amount of money relative to other available shopping options. Add in the retarded lack of expeditious checkout options, and I have scant reason to shop often at your store. Then add in the psycho circus clown atmosphere of this store, and I'll gladly try to never come here. Ironically enough, the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Pine Forest, a few miles away, is a much nicer, more serene store. Not as large of a selection, but the essentials are there, and in a convenient format with quicker checkout. read more

Have been shopping this Walmart for years. Has been going downhill for years. There's never any buggies no matter what time of day. The shelves are always half stocked if that. Produce department is terrible. They penalize cash paying customers by forcing them to stand in mile long lines at the two or three registers that are opened because they will not accept cash at the self checkout lanes. read more

The one thing I have noticed out of the lockdown are people who leave their social graces at home. You would think living in FL, people would appreciate the fact that we have not been like the rest of the country yet I see nothing but complaints. Where is the responsibility? If you get home and have expired milk, then that's on you. Check those dates on products you want to buy BEFORE you buy them, not after. If parking is bad, just find a spot and go in. Why complain? Go elsewhere. Why are people giving so many bad reviews when these places are trying so hard to stay afloat in a neighborhood with keeping shelves stocked, etc. Man, when things get bad here in 6 months due to supply issues, living in Pensacola is gonna be like Hunger Games with our own districts. It's already bad. Stay home, order from there, have it all delivered or better yet if you have to go out, just order curbside and do everyone else a favor and spare us all of the complaining. I drove to this location early in the morning so I could be one of the first to arrive at the automotive center for an oil change. As it turns out, I was the second customer to arrive, but I expected I would still be finished pretty quickly. How wrong I was! I dropped off my car, did some shopping in the store, and came back to the service area. Over an hour had passed, and my car was still awaiting the beginning of service. The first car in line was also there for a simple oil change, but it took nearly 90 minutes to complete. When they finally got to my car, the process took another hour to complete. Although this center has at least two service bays, they were only using one. Several vehicles were backed up behind my car for service. I can't imagine how long they must have had to wait. Frankly, this poor operation is simply the fault of poor management. I left the store with little confidence that the work was done properly. I shall not return there again. read more

This morning I was in your store picking up a few items. While I was in the self-checkout I heard an employee say "that register does not take WIC". She said it three times, progressively yelling louder until she finally got my attention as well as the attention of all the other customers in the self-checkout. I did not realize she was talking to me nor was I using WIC. I need you to understand that this is highly unacceptable behavior and very insensitive to those who do utilize the assistance available to them. What about me made her assume I that I was using WIC? If I was using WIC and needed assistance, I would have asked for it and that is not something that needs to be yelled to other customers in the store. This is not the first time this has happened to me at your store and as comfortable as that employee felt saying that to me, I'm sure she has done it to others. I don't need a letter, I don't need coupons/free stuff and I don't need a call. What I do need is for you all to properly train your employees as to why this type of behavior is inexcusable. Had I not had to get to work and not been so angered by her behavior, I would have asked for a manager, but I will be back to speak with someone when I get off. Again, do better. read more

I experienced some of the worst customer service ever at this store. While there, someone stole my brand new phone, a Note 8 that was 3 weeks old. If that wasn't bad enough, the employees were less than helpful and more than rude to me. I was then told to call back the next day and talk to customer service, who would not pick up the phone. I spent more than an hour trying to get someone on the phone. So rude in person but won't answer the phone. I would rather pay the $1000 for a new phone than have to deal with these people one more time. I will forever avoid this Wal-Mart location. Wow read more

I keep trying but I guess I should have learned my lesson for good not to go back to Wal Mart this time. They've damaged my car and denied it, I've been physically threatened by one of the over night crew for using a cart that had nothing in it and now this. I called ahead of time to see if I could return a GPS without a receipt. The first store never answered the phone. The second one (Pensacola BLVD) had a customer service rep that said take it to the store and he'd see by asking a manager if it could be returned for cash. I got there, waited 10 minutes to talk to a manager and said it could only be returned for a gift card. I looked to the guy who I talked to on the phone and he denied he ever said it to me. Wal Mart, you have just had your last chance. I don't know why I ever went back there and subjected myself to the punishment of those stores. That place is not worth the aggravation.
