I was actually pleasantly surprised by this Walmart. Their produce selection was actually pretty great-they even have kale! I love that they have self checkout as well-Publix should take note! Since COVID started we have been using Walmart delivery for our groceries I accept substitutions on the input screen. Yet today we are quite disappointed with their attitude. I received an email telling me they were out of stock Great Value Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. No substitutions were offered. I called Walmart.com to ask for the Silk brand instead. I spoke to Edwardo who called the store to make the change. I was told they couldn't do that and either cancel the entire order or place another order with the milk. I advised Edwardo that was not acceptable as I would have to spend at least $30 plus tip to get a 1/2 gallon of milk. I told him of my disgust with Walmart's policy and it was apparent what he didn't care. I told him to let the order be delivered minus the milk. I then called the store to speak to the store manager. Twice I was disconnected while trying to get to customer service. This will be our last delivery from Walmart. They will be losing about $5,000 a year from my family. read more

Be careful! The panhandlers watch you drive in & park. As soon as you step foot onto pavement they follow you into the store asking for money. They watch when you come out, follow you to your car & keep asking for money. It's dangerous, cops or security should be present & their not. Absolutely awful experience shopping Tuesday, November 29. Are use the app quite frequently to scan the products in store to see if they're the exact price that they show I thought I had found a good deal with one of the odd items I rang up It showed $29 on the app. I rang it up and it came up to $61. When I asked the manager for some help they basically told me that because it was the last hour of cyber Monday that they couldn't price match my item. Which I don't understand if cyber Monday is on a Monday and today is a Tuesday. What does that actually have to do with what I asked? Manager was extremely passive aggressive - I felt as if I was being ran around to get a real answer when I was showing her the company policy in writing on my phone. read more

I visited Walmart Supercenter last week to get supplies for my upcoming trip. It was around 7pm on a weekday and the store was packed with people. The lines were huge, the checkouts were slow and the tension was high. As I was waiting to checkout, I witnessed an amazing customer service situation: cash register next to my line broke and could only accept cash, so customers who were about to check out had to turn around and get in other lines, again. As this created unpleasant reactions, cashier Monic (later I specifically asked if she is the only Monic at this location) from another cash register asked her customers to give her a few minutes. She then walked to the broken cash register and talked to EACH customer who had to get in a new line, she apologized to them and gently patted them on the shoulders. She then asked her own line of customers if it was okay for her to process these people first and let them go since they already waited for a while. Everybody agreed, she processed them all and the line kept moving. I was observing the whole situation and was amazed by this woman. She handled customers with such friendliness, empathy and kindness that I almost teared up. Monic is an excellent example of WHY customers will return to this store. I shopped on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Not crowded. It was spotless and the produce was fresh and complete selections were available. I also shop Publix and WinnDixie. I also go there when they are not busy. Their meat is on par with both of the other Supermarkets. In some cases better. I was reluctant to shop here based upon my experience at their stores in Illinois. These shelves are well stocked. The check out is either self or a person who will bag and give you the bag to put in the cart. Based upon the price which is low, the product which is good there is no reason a knowledgeable shopper would not frequent this store and select a time that is not busy. This is a 24 hour store. If you go on a weekend or after work then expect less than a stellar experience. read more

One star is too many for what a joke this location is. I placed a car side pick up order with my pick up time being scheduled for 7pm-8pm. I arrive at 7:40 and call the number on the sign to let them know I had arrived. No answer. Keep calling and calling and calling. No answer. Voicemail was full. After 20 minutes I go inside, wait in line and tell them I'm here to pick up my order that I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. I'm told by a manager, "the car side pick up is closed for the day you'll have to come back tomorrow." WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A PICK UP TIME FOR 7pm-8pm and advertise that your pick up is open until 8pm?? Mind you, it was 7:59 by this point but I had been there since 7:40... They still should have been open either way. She refused to give me order, rolled her eyes and couldn't care less. Great customer service. When I told her I would like to speak to a manager, she laughed and informed me she was the customer service manager. Explains a lot. Flash forward to the next day, I called the pick up number before leaving the house (to make sure my order was still there and able to picked up) NO ANSWER. It's 4:25pm and they are advertising car pick up from 7am - 8pm. Just finished canceling my order, filling a complaint and I will never shop at a Walmart again. I find myself walking the aisles, thinking about all of the factories in China cranking this stuff out. Thinking about how we as Americans are sending all of our money there, every day. How every dollar we spend, it kills another job here in the USA. Oh well, prices are cheap. I don't make enough to be picky. Pick up some new socks, a case of water, and a pack of gum. Too much to think about, just give me stuff I can afford, low quality or not, it's our current way of life. A bit disappointed from the Walmart. We came to get some vegetables and some meat for dinner. The selection was not great, and most of the stuff looked bad, not fresh at all. Maybe we came at a bad time (Sunday, around 11 AM), or idk. The customer service was good, one of the employees helped us with the meat selection and was very nice. What can I say. If it wasnt for the fact these stores are open 24 hours I would not come after my worst experience. I parked and went shopping for last minute stuff for guest coming in for my wedding. Well when I returned someone had apparently backup and damaged my car. I went in to see if they could pull tape from the security camera and of course police had to come and make the request for them to review. Well the staff there were avoiding to help me and finally someone who did after about 20 mins shows the police the video when he arrived and of course the closest camera doesnt work. Another time I took my wifes car battery to get replaced as it was dead well the guy auto center argued with me. Decided to charge it and said it should be good to go. Well guess what the charge did not hold so once again he wants to try and charge the battery and finally I ended up going to another Walmart where they allowed me to trade in for a replacement. read more

While the location of this Walmart is very convenient (only super center on the East side in North Broward), the layout & selection is awful. The aisles seems very narrow to me compared to other locations. Many aisles, especially the housewares/home goods section, you can NOT fit 2 carts. If you see someone in these aisles, don't even bother trying to make it thru...the carts will NOT pass. & since it is a smaller store, selection is limited across the board. Also, due to size, the typical amenities are NOT available, i.e. Auto Services, , Hair salon, McDonalds/Subway, Nail Salon, Vision Center, etc. 09/04/18: 1st time using CoinStar machine. I never once saw an option to pick my "NO FEE eGC". I was forced to pay 11.9% fee for a cashout when I only agreed to the Term & Condition screen because it clearly stated NO FEE for eGCs. When I asked a WM employee for assistance I was given what you expect from WM, no assistance at all. Was told nothing they could do. read more

I have been coming to do my grocery shopping here for about a month now. This has been one of the only Walmart's I have shopped in that has bad food. I bought 4 cans (different days of the month) of the Garlic Alfredo sauce and each one was bad but the expiration date was dated for next year. I bought sausages from here and the expiration date was good but the sausage smelled old. The customer Service and disrespect I encountered at this location with the store manager Karen still has me in disbelief. I received a gift card from Customer Service when I returned an item at this Walmart store. This gift card was fraudulently used by someone at a Walmart store in Idaho, resulting in a zero balance. As I have never been to Idaho, I contacted Walmart several times about the problem. Their final reply: " We have reviewed your inquiry. At this time, we have determined that this does not fall under the terms and conditions of a compromised card. Unfortunately, Walmart is not liable for lost or stolen funds. This place is the worst. During the pandemic they are forcing people to wait in lines to the. Be told what lane to check out in. The line stretched all the way around the store to the back of the store. No other stores are doing this. It seems in effective and forced us to wait next to people in line less than 6 ft away and for longer periods of time. I went to target and hardly anyone waiting to check out and great customer service. I found I was trampling over employees more than customers. Employees who where being rude to customers and some not wearing masks. I get very dorespected trying to purchase items and ended up leaving my cart and walking out. I do not wish to spend hrs in a shitty Walmart. Your employees should be able to stock shelves at night. Also the walking isles are blocked with giant pallets full of water making it hard to navigate through the store and making me walk into more employees and customers. Don't come here if you're a woman. I came in here one day and per usual, was harassed by a creepy old man. I'm not underage but I definitely look like I could be, so as a last resort I told this man I was underage hoping he'd leave me alone, he did not. He then asked me questions trying to see if I was alone, he then told me I was "growing in nice" slapped my shoulder and walked outside. I poked my head out the doors to see if he was waiting for me outside and sure enough he was riding a bike around in circles. So as a girl alone I assumed that Walmart would help me in this situation. I walked up to an employee and asked if somebody could walk me to my car and explained my situation. The woman led me over to her ridiculous manager who proceeded to tell me he could do nothing for me unless I filed a police report. I had a flight to catch in 2 hours and certainly was not in the position to be filing a police report, I simply wanted to be safely walked to my car. I get if you can't send a regular employee out, then you should have a security system in place exactly for situations like mine. Hey Walmart, did you know parking lots like yours are the #1 place where people get abducted?? Nice to know you guys are doing absolutely nothing to protect your patrons. I had to walk out of the store with this man in the parking lot and ask a random woman on the phone if she could help me to my car. Ridiculous. If I did get abducted I'm sure all Walmart would do about it is tack up my missing poster next to all the other young women they failed to keep safe. A newer Walmart on the east side gets four shiny stars from me. This location is smaller, and as the saying goes, I've found that "less is more." It's apparent that the better products are here; less clutter means you can get in, get what you need, and get out in pretty good time. Nothing beats saving time and money and getting to the bottom line. The parking lot is smaller yet traffic seems to flow steadily. There's an abundance of grocery items and staples along with the auto shop, school supplies, clothing, and household product selection you've come to expect from this massive chain. Target is still my number one, but for those rare Walmart moments, this location is a more appealing option. read more
