I went into the pharmacy to pick my medication up just like I do every month. One of my medications…read morecopay was higher than normal, so I asked the lady (the pharmacist) if she had ran my second insurance and she said no and continued to charge me the higher copay for the one prescription. She announced my total and I asked why she didn't run my second insurance for that medication and she looked at me and told me to call my insurance company and take it up with them because they tell the pharmacy what to charge the patient. I told her no and that I haven't ever been charged that much for that medication before and she needs to run the insurance. She refused to and started to argue with me loudly. She was unprofessional and very VERY rude. I wouldn't even let my worst enemy deal with this pharmacy.

After giving my information, she told me they had nothing, then barked, "What are you looking for?" When I clarified, she flatly said a request was sent to my doctor. That was it. No follow-up, no compassion, no sense that she's aware she's speaking to a human being. He fills prescriptions on the spot (even if we're just checking on the status, or picking up another one and still waiting on that one). Brian also helps us with finding ways to best save money on our prescriptions. Best part he doesn't make such a process that's normally boring. I had a prescription transferred from my home state to BV drug. My script is for 90 days. They…read moreonly had 30 days so they filled 30 days and I asked them to order the rest. They assured me it would be in within 2 days. 3 days later I called. They never ordered it. Promised they would and it would be in in a couple days. I called back 3 days later, didn't order it. 4 th time I went in, and the young woman was very nice and said they hadn't tagged my first 30 days as a partial so I wasn't eligible for a refill for 30 days. They would order it and fill it on the 7th of September. I was notified it was in. Picked it up and they charged me for 90 days. Called them when I got home. Pharmacist Offered to let me return 30 days for refund. I'm pretty sure you can't return prescriptions. Rather than travel all that distance again I'm just going to have to give up. He also told me I could transfer to another pharmacy. Problem with that is I need a specific brand which they carry. I'm allergic to the other common brand. I've been on the medication for 27 years and I've never had an issue at my home state pharmacy. Too bad they can't ship across state lines.
