It's bad enough they force you to scan your own groceries because they refuse to employ cashiers. But then you have to wait forever do do their job because they don't have enough self-checkout places and half them are closed. If I could give them Zero stars I would..first off..let me start at the beginning..I initially had a problem with just the auto center at the Queensbury Super Center at 891 Rte 9 but then things turned worse.. I ordered some tires from the website and paid for them along with installation.. The website gave me a delivery date which was acceptable and an installation date that was also acceptable.. then the trouble started.. first out of nowhere the installation date gets cancelled stating that my order wouldn't be delivered on time.. ok..no big deal.. then I contacted Walmart customer service and they rebooked the installation date for when the tires were to be delivered..no big deal... then the day arrives and I wake up ready to drop of my vehicle and .......my appointment is canceled AND my payment for the installation was refunded... so I called the Walmart customer service AGAIN and they assured me AGAIN that my tires would arrive on time and they rebooked my appointment.... So the day arrives and I get an email at 6:30 AM stating my appointment is canceled.. so I wait until the store opens and I called them... of course nobody answers... I called over 12 times and let it ring and ring and ring and each time it went back to voicemail and hung up on me.. finally after the 13th try, somebody answered and of course they had no idea what was going on. I tried to explain it and they sent me back to the auto center at which point nobody answered the phone... so I decided to go to the store... at which point a manager was of absolutely no help... the auto center manager was only slightly more helpful.. telling me that there was a delivery delay and one of my tires didn't show up... he takes my phone number and states that he will call me the second the tires get in..(they were apparently arriving within a couple hours)... of course I never received any call... I had to call them back and miraculously someone answer the phone... and finally my tires had all arrived... I asked if they could install them today due to all of my appointments being canceled and they said maybe ...call back at 3 o'clock.. of course I called back at 3 o'clock.. and the phone rings and rings and rings.... I called back seven more times.... No one would answer the phone... not the customer service.. not the auto Center... no one... so of course I go to the store and it is not busy... the auto Center is not busy whatsoever... no cars were backed up. In fact there were no cars in the auto center at all and no cars in the parking lot at all... just three mechanics sitting around laughing... and a counter person sitting around... by this point I was so disgusted. I just got my tires and walked out.... I had them installed within a half an hour at another local garage... I understand that things can get busy .. I am not an unreasonable person.... But this was absolutely outrageous.... I will never shop at Walmart again... in fact I am having my prescriptions moved to another pharmacy... Walmart is one of the biggest companies on the planet... how can they have a store that is so poorly managed?? read more

never ever use walmart rt 9 automotive center!! on 7/16/2026, i went there for a simple oil change on my rav4. when i got the notification it was completed, i was advised that the oil filter housing was damaged and leaking oil!! car was perfect when i drove it there. i was advised that i would have to buy the part at napa or another parts outlet!! but i was losing oil so i couldn't go. called my husband and he bought the part at advanced auto and came to walmart. he asked to see the old oil filter housing unit and it was clearly over torque and broke. walmart auto reimbursed for the part but charged for the screwed up oil changed. husband called walmart auto the next day and talked to a nasty female manager. walmart automotive does not have many certified technicians on staff. avoid rt 9 walmart automotive at all cost or you will be needing a new motor. this automotive center is half ass run and walmart cooperation should overhaul that location read more

Scheduled an oil change for 0700 using Walmart Queensbury website. Woke up early, drove 40 minutes to the store only to discover the auto center didn't open until 0800. Customer service lead wouldn't even lift his head to look at us when we went to complaine with Customer service representatives. Just shrugged his shoulders. I went to the Walmart Auto Center on Rte. 9 in Queensbury NY. I got there at 6 pm needed to drop off some tires to have them mounted on the rims. The hours say they are open until 7pm and yet at 6pm the auto department was closed and locked up. I went to the service desk to ask what the Auto Centers hours were since they were not open when the hours back there or the hours stated on the internet said they were suppose to be. The person on the service desk told me they had no clue what the hours of the Auto Center were. This stores employees are clueless of what is going on in the store they work in. What happened to the days of training employees and having them learn knowledge of the store especially the friggin hours. If the Auto Center is not going to stay open till the 7pm stated on the internet then take the hours off the internet. People drive to the store to do things according to the hours posted on the website. And there was only 1 person on the service desk and you have to wait for a Walmart employee to check out a cart load of merchandise they are buying guess they are to special to go to a normal register like everyone else. While the 1 person on the service desk is working alone and ringing out employee purchases- 3 associates come from behind the back wall of the service desk, but from what I understand they were all headed to the ladies room to take care of a mess made in one of the stalls. It takes 3 people to clean one mess and only 1 is left working the service desk and not doing the job of the service desk because this employee stated she did not want to have to wait in line to check out and that the person working the service desk was her favorite person so she knew they wanted to ring her out. There is absolutely no customer service for actual shoppers at this store. The store is not managed very well at all. Why doesn't the store manager do his job!!!! I remember the days of other department stores where the managers would actually have to work a department in the store if employees called off and they were short staffed. But then again back in the day managers had to learn every job in the store. Now a days the manager just walk around with a set of keys looking pretty and not actually doing any work not even making sure the store Departments are kept running according to the hours posted . Please take down your hours from the internet if you cannot maintain them. Sick of driving to the store to find out a department is closed, Had this issue in the past when the deli closed 3 hours before it was suppose to. read more

This review is specifically to put the spotlight on Team Lead Brandi Tubbs, who was running the auto center the day I scheduled my first-ever oil change at Walmart. Brandi had worked all day without breaks and outperformed the others in the garage 6-to-1 by the time I rolled in on time for my oil change. When I got back to the auto service area of the store after getting my grocery list, Brandi's co-lead told me Walmart had brought Brandi over to their location specifically to train new hires, and they have been working hard to get that department up to speed. Walmart, you don't deserve Brandi, and if I ran a company, I'd poach her. read more

Kind of a dirty Walmart and in need of a facelift. This is a Super Walmart though, so it is handy for one stop shopping. This is a popular spot for residents of local rural areas. Nice size pet section incase you need to stock up on anything for your furry friend. Good place to stop if you are on vacation in Lake George and need to pick up anything you may have forgotten. They do have some self check out registers open which often help get you out the door more quickly. read more

Grocery Pick UP After receiving a text stating our groceries weren't ready for scheduled pickup, 20 mins later, we were texted they were ready. I waited for 58 minutes!!!! Then they said if we didn't bring bags, over $200 in groceries were dumped into the back of my truck. I said I'd pay for the bags and they refused. Would have been nice to be told this in a text. I called the store to speak to a manager...good luck, after the phone rang for 20 minutes and no one picked up, I gave up and came here. Go to Hannaford, never a problem there and not charged for bags that they gladly fill for you. read more

One of THE worst WALMARTS I HAVE EVER BEEN. 1. It was messy. Complete store was disorganized. 2. We went to go get a quick fishing liscense on a Friday and NOT ONE SALES ASSOCIATE could help us. We waited for a good 10-20 minutes. It turns out that the people who were working the hunting side said only ONE person knows how to do it and he had already left since his shift ended. We cut our losses because it is what it is. And lastly, one of THE MOST AWFUL AND RUDE Self checkout attendant. I was in awe how she treated my family in the store. My "party" was pretty much everyone 25 and older for the exception of my brother who is 9 and we were trying to buy alcohol. My older sister didn't have her ID on her (who's 29 and married) but her husband had his ID. She still refused to sell it to her and was giving my mother a hard time cause my mom is over 45 and didn't want to show her ID. My bf and I had our alcohol and refused to let us buy even though we showed our ID but because we in the same "party" we were denied. We called for a supervisor and she denied us as well because we went shopping together.She also called a very terrible slur because both my sister and I are Latinas. So I was appalled by it. I understand being short staff but when you find losers in the streets to take of your store it's appalling. It ruined my camping experience, and it ruined my day. We are all adults, and all with our significant others. Reasons why I do 90% of my shopping with Amazon. Because I don't have to deal with rude and disgusting people. Also found it funny how there was another couple who DIDNT even show ID but we're able to buy alcohol. Well what do you expect when they were white and my bf and I are interracial. read more

I purchased a refillable 5 gal jug of primo water and as she stared at my receipt and told me which item she was looking for...she said it was not on it. I told her I told the cashier which one I purchased. She walked me back to the cashier (apparently she put it in wrong and charged me $2 instead of $6) then made me go to customer service and pay the difference as I'm carrying 2 heavy bags plus pushing my cart! I just spent $400 on groceries! I was NOT trying to steal A $6 water jug!!! On top of me having to go to another market now because they didn't have a number of things! The order pick up here is horrendous- over an hour wait both times I've been. Then the employee just left the food for us to put in the car; which, fine, but what the hell takes so long about doing pick up orders if you're not even doing half of the work? I don't know if this is the fault of poor management or lazy employees, but it's definitely not worth going to. The Quaker Rd store never has us wait more than 15-20 minutes, and they load the vehicle. Go there instead of you don't want to sit around for ages. read more

If you're working a job from a time to a time, your expected to start at that time and finish at the other. So if you're given the hours 2pm to 10pm your set to stop working at 10pm. If this Walmart is set to close at 10 pm it's supposed to close at 10 pm not 9:45. I had arrived at 9:50 coming from New Jersey. My mother has really bad allergies she really needed Claritin, I would be in and out, but I was told by the awfully rude child at the front door that they decided to close early. How do you choose to close when you feel like it? He said his manager told him to. Remind you there were still customers inside shopping so it wouldn't have even made a difference for me being inside. I'm currently at a hospital just to get her something that'll help because he had the audacity to tell me whatever his manager says goes. Yesterday I had to stop at this store because they had something no other store did or else I probably would have avoided it. In retrospect, I wished I had. I was in the grocery section and looking for something when a woman in power cart was trying to get groceries. That cart must have been beeping for nearly ten minutes non stop while the woman tried to figure out how to use it. There were two employees stocking shelves, not one even asked if she needed help. I was going to but a man who I think was her husband finally got it moving, then after about a minute or so it died again and started beeping. Another employee walking though stopped and asked and said he would find someone for her. Then I needed something in that aisle and I asked one of the two employees, who were actually stocking shelves in that aisle for something, and one said he didn't know where anything there was. Then how could you be stocking shelves? The girl on the other side was too busy to help so a third had to be flagged down to help out. Really? The capper was when I needed to pick up some fabric for a project for my son and I went to the where the raw fabric was. I got what I needed and there was a woman there, the name on her tag was Jo Anne, and she was actually folding up a piece of fabric. She looks at me and very rudely says "Push the button." I asked what she meant and she said "Push the button, I don't work here." Then what the heck are you doing there? With the attitude like and talking to customers that way if it were me you wouldn't be. Finally a woman who DID work there showed up and it took her almost ten minutes just to get the stupid printer to work. I finally got what I needed and paid for it nearly screaming on the way out. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this store, the help is unbelievably rude, maybe not all of them, but it seems they are hiring more and more and its not just the younger staff, it seems to be some of the one's my age and older that have the proverbial stick up their rear end. Do not go to the automotive center here, we took something as simple as a flat tire there and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it so they blew it up and put it back on the car, they neglected to balance it so back we went they then said water must have gotten in it so they removed the water and balanced the tire. We drove to a nearby spot and when we came out an hour later our tire was almost flat again. My husband took it off himself and checked it and found a slit in it!!!! How on earth could they have missed it????? Also the manager practically called me a liar about it being out of balance, until he found the water in it read more
