Boy this is a game changer. The atmosphere and efficiency at this location is changing for the worse. I've been driving to this St Charles location for 1 1/2 years now. I live in Florissant. This store has been more efficient and friendly than the No County Walmarts. So I didn't might the drive to St Charles to be treated nicer. Where employees were focused on their work stocking and speedy friendly checkers. The last few weeks I've noticed a BIG CHANGE. Dear everyone, I am writing to address serious issues I encountered during my employment at Walmart Store 1161 in Saint Charles, Missouri. When I initially joined as an associate, I brought a strong sense of integrity and professionalism, adhering to all company policies and procedures. I was trained by some of the best regional and asset protection managers Walmart has ever employed. However, soon after I became an associate, I witnessed rampant discrimination, false arrests, and sexual harassment. On one occasion, I was pulled into a dark conference room inappropriately away from cameras, where I felt unsafe. After reporting this incident, I was subjected to further intimidation, being made to sit in an interrogation chair with the same individual I had filed a report against. The internal investigation was handled poorly, involving the very person I accused instead of bringing in outside resources. After I was never in there system the same supervise was over my time. I have been doing loss prevention for over 20 years without my time at Walmart. Throughout this process, I maintained open communication with my previous supervisor and other regional managers outside of Missouri, who advised me to document my experiences and report the violations. Despite my efforts, my name has been stained with a designation of "gross misconduct," which I believe is entirely unfounded. I am determined to keep these concerns internal before escalating the matter to the media or legal avenues. I have witnesses, including parents of falsely arrested African American children, employees who were mistreated and colleagues who were chastised or terminated for reporting the asset protection manager's misconduct, including enabling her boyfriend to work in the store while flashing a police badge and he is not police. I respectfully request that someone from management or meet with me to discuss this matter and work toward removing the unjust "gross misconduct" designation from my record. The treatment I experienced was wrong, and I believe accountability is essential. I am committed to pursuing this matter until it is resolved correctly. Furthermore, I was on approved leave during the time of my termination, as the new store manager, Kendra, was not fully informed of my situation. I have discovered issues related to my employment status in the system, which further complicate this matter and highlight the negligence in handling my case. Please help me make this right. I appreciate your attention to these serious concerns and look forward to your prompt response. Short answer, this was the worst customer service I've ever had. Long answer, I didn't come into Walmart expecting the best service, it's usually always just bare minimum, but this interaction was so bad I downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. I came in with a specific item I needed that my app said was at this location but it wasn't on shelves, so I asked an older gentleman if he knew where it was or if he could check the back for me. He stared at me, pretended to do something on his phone, then brought me over to 2 women on their phones for help and left immediately. One woman sighed and rolled her eyes as she pretended to be busy on her phone, literally scrolling through her settings and weather app. The other one seemed..... let's just say squeemish. She looked at me wide eyed with an irritated look, but neither of them said a word to me. I once again asked my question, sitting there a moment in silence before the wide eyed one attempted to help me. She looked up the item on her app and brought me to where I already looked, and did not check the back as requested. She said that means they don't have it, said she forgot to clock in, and ran away leaving me by myself. I work in customer service and understand how specific requests like this can be annoying, but all of the employees involved were rude, incompetent, and lazy, even with a request that simple. This visit epitomizes Walmart. Walked up on a driverless auto-scrubbier (pic) that kept beeping and stopping for customers to move out of the way. Not only did they take a semi-skilled job away- they also made customer experience worse. Despite that, I found stain & bleach resistant pants (man-made solution dyed thread) for $22 (see pic). Also, I bought blood pressure monitor for $20 cheaper than Walgreens. Yes, Walmart treats employees like interchangeable cogs in their machine towards efficiency. This is a story. Walk with me. My Niece Nurse Amanda in Texas set up an appointment for me to get my first COVID-19 vaccination on this past Monday. My appointment was scheduled for 10 a.m. today -- Wednesday. This review should actually be about the Walmart Pharmacy, because I did no shopping in the store. Everything went swell getting across the Missouri River to St. Charles. Then things went awry. Even with Mapquest, I got lost. And when I saw the Missouri River, I knew I was going in the wrong direction. I turned around, regrouped and drove west. Found Veterans Memorial Parkway, then the Regency Plaza, which was mentioned in Mapquest, but I couldn't find the address. I'm sitting in the parking lot of a huge amount of stores, and I can't find any addresses. I drove around for 15 minutes checking addresses. FINALLY, I figured out somewhere between Popeye's Chicken and Sam's, there must be this address. HELLO, Walmart. Who knew! I certainly didn't. This was my address. I went in, registered with the pharmacist. My appointment was acknowledged. I got my vaccination. I sat for 15 minutes reading a book without incident. The pharmacist was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. And there is a process! And I got a card validating that I'd had my first COVID-19 vaccination. Further, with the pharmacist, we scheduled my next vaccination for four weeks out. read more

Rude! Unprofessional and than hung up on us. So I called back and spoke to a floor manager and was told she'd see what she could do for us and transferred us once again only to be hung up on again by James the customer service manager. I am a retired Walmart pharmacist. This pharmacy works well until the "pharmacist of the year, Logan" decides he will make your day bad by making up phony rules about refilling medication. there are NO LAWS about when your prescription can be refilled, especially when you, the patient, decides not to use your insurance. YOU the patient are the legal owner of that legal document YOUR prescription. If Logan decides he doesn't want to fill YOUR prescription, he has that right, and holds the final discretion on the dispensing YOUR prescription. And if Logan chooses to be uncooperative with your vacation needs, he can hold that disappointing reasoning as the Pharmacist, and he does that routinely even to a retired Pharmacist, me, as the laughable "pharmacist of the year". Setting a very low bar for what WAS the most respected profession of all professionals in the United States. Shame on you, Logan, and on the corporate structure of Walmart for permitting an unethical professional to continue working and representing the company. I know for a fact that many other Pharmacists hold that arrogant attitude legally, but they can also be put in their place by the corporation, including termination, for any reason the corporation chooses. As a young pharmacist myself, I did sometimes, belittle patients for paychecks as my priority, and easily got away with that from Walgreens as well as Walmart. Karma is a B.... and it will be back to visit you, and no-one will come to rescue you. Now my vacation is postponed, including the reservations in place that need to be changed because of one person, and he is just a man like any other, like me, who will be revisited by his previous actions in his life that ruin a vacation or who will get his same medicine, pun intended, thrown back in his face someday. Had an oil change Tuesday morning. When they were done. I went home and spent the rest of the day watching movies. The next morning on my way to work my power steering went out. After work I took it to a mechanic and they told me that someone had put water in my power steering reservoir. When I looked at the Walmart receipt it says they topped off my windshield wiper fluid, which sits right next to the power steering reservoir. The wiper fluid had not been filled but the power steering reservoir was overflowing. I called Walmart and told them what they had done and they would not take responsibility for it. Shocker!!! So now I have to pay to have my power steering system flushed and bled. Just make sure you check your engine before and after your oil change. Because shit happens. read more

This was a particularly busy, dirty, and chaotic Walmart. I don't think I had ever been here before and I doubt I will be back. I needed a new wireless router. The one I wanted was $29.99 but they lock them up so you have to find someone who will actually help you. You can't count how many items over $29.99 aren't locked up. What's the point? I finally find someone to unlock and they walk me over to the electronics register and I pay for it. As we're finishing I ask where the Apple phone cords are. She says one aisle over. She doesn't mention that those are locked up too and offer to walk over there with me! She's moved on to someone else and you lose a sale because I'm not waiting again! The lady in customer service definitely made up a fake return policy. So i bought boots less than 24 hours ago- they don't fit. I literally have the receipt, box, and all of the original tags. She said well these boots were worn.. i told her yes, for a few hours o just got them yesterday and they don't fit. So she calls her manager over and he says well these boots have been worn for months and you must go to the original store. I live by the original store in Kirkwood but the St. Charles location is on my way to work. I JUST BOUGHT THE BOOTS. THEY ARE NEW. photos attached!! He said well sorry the store may have sold you used boots. Im so frustrated, I just wanted to return the boots and I definitely felt like I was trying to prove myself to people that didn't believe me. They do not deserve one star. To make a long long story short. Walmart Auto Center damaged my hubcaps severely and refuse to account for the damages. First my expensive center cap came off and just the day before yesterday when my mechanic remove the hub caps to replace them my passenger side hubcap broke apart in pieces. I have been trying to contact the manager on and off by phone for over 2 months and again today when somebody answered and left me on hold for 10 mins then hung up. This is the worst customer service I ever received and they lie a lot. Racial profiling at work! I am by no means a SJW. I'm a middle class white male who usually doesn't care at all about racial problems, mainly because I dont get confronted with it. But today I went to Walmart. The shopping experience was average for Walmart. We checked out and the cashier was perfectly pleasant. There was a man (I think his name was Alex, clack polo shirt, loss prevention specialist?) at the door checking receipts. I watched one, two, three groups of white people walk through and he waved and greeted them on the way out. Then two black women pushed their cart through and he stopped them to check their receipt. My wife, a white woman, pulled hers out to show. I told her to put it back, I wanted to see if he'd ask. We waved to us and told us to have a nice day. What the hell walmart? *** This is now an edit because I've done some thinking about this. I went back to that Walmart because I needed other things and Alex was at the door again. I saw him do the exact same thing again. White people passing through no prob, black people checking their receipt. How do we get better? Is there a policy about who you check? Every 5th person? Anyone without items in bags? Everyone? If there is no policy I recommend it. Then, if an accusation comes up you can review the video to justify it as per your policy. read more

I don't understand how the person who orders the food at this location still has a job. Every week we have to stop at Schnucks or Aldi to get ten or so things on our list that Walmart is sold out of. The same things every time, they'll have em for a few days then be out for two weeks lol. If you run out of an item after a few days every time you get it for years on end, order more! Staff members will let customers jump in line (I almost got in to a fight once because of this) even though the lines are 6 people long. The reason? The guy needed cigs and had gotten in the wrong line, when I asked why he jumped in line the jumper told me "he (the guy working the register) gave me the benefit of doubt"....If you are as confused as I was/am about that statement then it's all you need to know about this store. Rules of common courtey between customers does not apply. I've been harassed by people handing out fliers who were jumping out from behind walls and cars and the store told me they couldn't do anything about it. The lady acted as if I was a major inconvenience to her life and I was a jerk for making her get off her fat ass. The service was the worst I have ever encountered in my 47 years on Earth. I finally just asked them to give me my keys back and I left without any tires. I decided I did not want to contribute any of my hard earned money to their paychecks. I will never go to this place or any other Jiffy Lube ever!! I ended up going to Dobbs tire store and they treated me with courtesy and respect. Where do I start. The money center closes at 8 PM. I arrived @ 7:45 PM. The line was closed because the attendant couldn't finish the people in line by 8, here's an idea, close the line at 8 & finish the patrons in line. I wouldn't have rushed to get there if I knew it closed early for whatever reason. The manager Anthony told me they were short staffed & it could take longer per customer & it had to close @ 8 & didn't care whether I needed to use the service. I get they don't like working for Walmart but they chose to work there. Walmart offers services & those services have schedules. Customers depend on those schedules. If I were the manager I would want to know my service members are not following protocol & treating customers poorly. read more
