I could've written this so many times over the years because of everyday kindness, great product recommendations, and random acts of flowers (they gave me a bouquet for myself AND for the sick person I was making soup for ), but today takes the cake. We were expecting severe storms today so lots of people were stocking up when the tornado sirens started earlier than expected. They announced that anyone who wanted to stay in the store should join the crew in the basement to be safe. They guided us all calmly to their basement/storage/employee break area with smiles, lots of snacks, bottled water, and even flowers for moms with their babies! They made sure everyone was comfortable and had a place to sit down. I felt so safe and so taken care of! Once we were cleared to go back upstairs, everyone was as helpful as ever and the crew even walked folks out to their cars with umbrellas in the pouring rain. If everyone treated each other like this team treated a bunch of strangers, the world would be a better place. I love shopping at Trader Joe's. This particular location has a fairly busy parking lot so be careful driving in it. The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly. They're great at helping you find whatever you need. They have so many good products, especially if you are vegetarian/vegan. I really like their chorizo sausage, Sriracha tofu, a huge selection of cheese, frozen ethnic meals and you can even pick up a mini bouquet for $5. read more

You are greeted with the smell of fresh flowers as soon as you walk in. Pair that with the bright colors of the flowers and it instantly becomes a place that I want to be at. I don't make it to Trader Joes very often as there isn't a store near me. I suppose that would be my only complaint. We picked up a couple of bottles of wine to take to a holiday event. I love TJ's! They always have the best flowers, their produce is reasonably priced and the quality is pretty spot on. We don't typically buy our fruit here (prices are better at other places for fruit), but we do purchase fresh veggies and lettuce. I love their organic selection or items and that they are pretty good about keeping shelves stocked. Only downside is that sometimes the aisles inside jam up with carts, and they don't open until 9am. All staff we have encountered have been helpful and personable. read more

The best place to shop!! Trader Joe's is one of the few businesses that still treats customers in that "old-school" way. (It all starts from the top, so kudos to those in charge!!) The selection, service and cleanliness is always top-notch, but my visit 3/9/26 to the Creve Coeur location was EXCEPTIONAL. There were lots of associates, and every single one seemed truly happy to be there. One was even singing!! I needed help a couple of times, and each time, several people teamed up to take care of me. I felt like I was in the company of friends. I wish I had names, but honestly, I'd have to list the whole store. This store is a model of a perfect business. It's TJ's. If you've never been, I think you should pop-in just to see the unique TJ brand stuff. Pre-made single serving salads, spring rolls-super fresh 100% of the time. Free coffee in the back. $2-buck chuck wine.... Last visit mid December 2024 was just to pick up a bunch of boxes of "candycane Joe-Joes" to hand out over the holidays. I've been to TJ's in CA, AZ, NV, and here in MO. Always consistent and stores seem almost identical. I have only been to this Trader Joe's location once, didn't get to visit every aisle because I didn't have the time. I was on a mission, got straight to the point, went to the frozen food aisle, was able to find what I was looking for along with a couple added extras like the molten chocolate cake and the maple ice-cream. I went at the perfect time, not many cars on the lot and the check-out was open as soon as I walked up. I asked the cashier about her thought on the maple ice-cream and molten lava chocolate cakes. She raved about the ice-cream but said I couldn't wrong with the lava cakes, said she hadn't tried them yet. She was correct on both fronts. I like this location because it's conveniently located to the gym and other hot spots for me. I will definitely be returning to check out the other main aisle that houses the salads and lunch meats and stuff so I can grab some goodies for work. read more

I've heard the hype and decided to try out a Trader Joe's. I understand they have their own line of products and their line does not have additives, preservatives, etc. which interests me. Store layout was okay. There's not a lot of space to walk between things and people were everywhere. It was hard to get to items and understand the layout at first. Also the cart area is a bit a nightmare tucked into a side part and people waiting to get carts were blocking the entry/exit doors. Product variety and selection is not like your big stores like Schnucks. It's going to more of a smaller selection with maybe only 1 brand option of each item. This was surprising to me, especially in areas like canned goods. Unique item selection is excellent. They have items you won't find at other stores such as Peri Peri sauce, etc. I really liked that aspect and it's one of the items that drew me in. I'm not confident that I would be able to accomplish all of my grocery needs at this store... Checkout was fast and efficient. All of the employees I came across were friendly. There were a lot of employees throughout this store stocking, helping people, at checkout, etc. One thing I didn't love but the store can't control - the other customers were the rudest I've experienced. I was in absolute shock. One example - while in an aisle looking at the ingredients on a product for a few seconds multiple people "bumped" me over to get to what they wanted (like physically used their body to push me over) or asked me to move or asked me if I was almost done. I was only standing there maybe 90 seconds. This was not the only time. Customers here were in a rush and knew what they needed. They were not polite or gracious and it was VERY off putting. It it had been one incident I would have brushed it off... but it was a CONSISTENT experience throughout my shopping trip there which was all of 30 minutes. Overall I would like to utilize more the Trader Joe branded products for the benefits of no additives, preservatives, etc. but I don't know that I want to deal with their other customers. Trader Joe's is a staple for great tasting quality food. They are reasonably priced and offer healthier options for patrons. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The store is clean and has visible signs. They have signature items available only by their brand that are pretty good too. There private parking lot is usually packed but they do offer wheelchair accessible parking. read more

With the post-pandemic kidney friendly needs not met at Aldi Trader Joe's is worth shopping. Japanese sweet potatoes are fiber rich. Golden berries are not my normal berries. Riced hearts of palm has good fiber. However, the 72% cacao dark chocolate bars was the reason for shopping. Though- not individually wrapped for convenience... just a huge 17.6 oz "pound plus" bar. Having to go in the back and then go downstairs to use the restroom is annoying, but at least the bathroom was clean. The looped paper bags are nice. Well, it took long enough, but I finally made it into a Trader Joe's! I know. I know. What took so long? Well, I finally have one conveniently located. So I stopped in over lunch. I like it! It's small enough to get in and out pretty fast. They had all my favorite things -- good fresh produce, funky unique foodie items, fresh flowers, adult beverages, and all the staples I need to make some cool meals. Today I grabbed some fresh fruit, fresh pizza dough (love that!), snacks for an office meeting, and perused some of the container plants -- succulents I have my eyes on you!! Staff were friendly and quick during my lunch hour rush shopping. I do think their little stubby check out counters are kind of weird - took me a hot minute to see where to set my stiff down. Basically I didn't. We just scanned everything one at a time since there was no conveyor or space to stack stuff -- is it me or is that weird?!? Anywho... I give 4/5 stars for this location because parking is tight and a bit tricky. I almost got hit twice as I was leaving. People be crazy behind the wheel sometimes. The drivers aren't Trader Joe's fault, but maybe that tight parking lot is (?). Just be watchful and safe in that lot. I can say with confidence I'll be back! But I'll be watching out for you, Creve Couer drivers. You were a bit cray cray today. LOL read more

This is my regular Trader Joe's and I like it a lot! It's a little smaller than some of the other locations but it gets the job done and the employees are super friendly! They always have my food I am looking for. Only thing I can complain about which is probably not their fault is the parking lot is super tight and crowded and small and it's very easy to get hit so be safe. read more

I love this Trader Joe's. The people working here are so friendly and really make my day, and they're really wonderful with my toddler. Lots of specialty & prepared foods for cheap. Good deals on booze. Best prices on canned anchovies I've seen to-date. My picky toddler loves their frozen dumplings, frozen shumai, mango cream popsicles, little ice cream cones, and baby corn. The grown-ups in the household are pretty partial to the frozen Indian food selection. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the parking lot gets kind of crowded and crazy if you don't go early in the morning or late in the evening. read more

I have been going to Trader Joe's for years in multiple states and cities. Prices are affordable, good variety of foods usually their own brands. Great way to try new things. Staff always friendly and easily recognizable by their Hawaiian shirts. Products stocked may vary by what part of the country you are in. Stores are bright and clean, manager easily found at front of store behind tall wooden desk. They are happy to look up stock you can't find. My only complaint is sometimes I find something I really like and it is discontinued. My only specific complaint of the Creve Coeur store is the small parking lot. read more

Used to care for the location in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Those all night sessions were spent gazing upon aisle afer aisle of food wonders. This location in greater St Louis is a gem. FULLY stocked, great staff. They have wine and spirits. Did I mention FULLY stocked? (I now need to go to the ONLY store in Memphis, TN which is SO popular that IF you can get in after waiting in COVID line, they are completely sold out of everything you want.) First time going to this location. The customer service was good; No issue there. However, . I purchased Chicken Sausage by Trader Joes. I don't eat Pork so I was glad to see they had other meat options. So I'm cooking them now and wonder why they are frying weird. I really can't explain it. It took an extremely long time for the outside to get done. I looked at the front of the package and didn't see anything odd about the ingredients. I looked on the back and saw in small print that the chicken is packed in pork casings. Why in the world would you put chicken sausage in pork casing? That defeats the purpose of it being chicken sausage. The package was very misleading. If pork casing were visible upfront I wouldn't have purchased it. read more

Love this store. The first thing you see when you enter the store is the happy garden of fresh flowers. Makes you want to grab a bunch to take home, which I did. Now I have a happy dining room table. Prices on flowers are reasonable. Associates are so friendly and helpful. It's clean, and the aisles are wide. Love the cashiers. Their quick to offer a little friendly conversation while checking you out. Good variety of food for the type of store they are. I'm posting two stars for two recent Trader Joe "star" crew members that have fallen by being fired. I've always enjoyed shopping at Trader Joe's because of their great products and people. Some of my favorite familiar faces are at the Creve Coeur location. It seems like things have changed though. It's not the same telaxed and fun atmosphere it once was. I found out recently that some favorite crew members were fired or have transferred to other locations. One I saw a week ago working at her new location. I've never seen her that happy. It seemed like a weight had been lifted off of her. Could it be that there is trouble at the helm and the Creve Coeur ship is sinking? I hope Trader Joe's takes notice and course corrects before more great crew members jump ship or get tossed overboard. read more

Trader Joe's has amazing flowers. I was hosting a Bridal Shower and needed a large amount of flowers. Trader Joe's surpassed my expectation with selection, availability, and quality. People at the shower would not stop commenting on the beauty of the flowers! Score Trader Joes!!! Fresh flowers just make people smile. Since hosting the Bridal Shower I have given two other Trader Joes Bouquets to other people and have gotten huge hugs. Thanks Trader Joes. Was hoping this store would be a little more understanding toward customers than the Clarkson location has been with pandemic rules. Unfortunately, these stores won't allow more than 30-35% capacity even though STL county allows 50% capacity indoors. Therefore, no matter the weather, customers must wait outside and are yelled at if masks aren't on before one is even given a cart in which to set a purse and find a mask. Not everyone can safely wear & breathe with mask outdoors in heat & for long periods of time. At check out, one gets yelled at to stand 12 feet back from credit card machine where one should be able to view itemized charges. Don't know if charges are accurate until one has paid and been rushed out the door with receipt in hand. Trader Joe's is following their California corporate rules which aren't appropriate in StL. Won't be shopping there until their corporate office realizes each state varies and we aren't as crazy as California! I will NOT spend my money where staff bark at customers like prison guards. They've let a little power over innocent customers go to their heads. read more

I have been shopping weekly at this location for the past 4 years. Today was the best experience I have ever had at this location all because of the cashier Robert. He was friendly kind and professional all while being fast and on time with checking out my cart. He went above and beyond with also letting me know that they have flowers for free and even went over and picked them out and gave them to me. This man was the sole reason for taking an average day and making it one to remember. Highly recommend this location and highly recommend Robert as a cashier. read more

This particular location had some of the most beautiful and unique orchid plants that I've ever seen. (See pics.) The people are always friendly and helpful. The shelves are well-stocked and neat. The in-store marketing is fantastic! There are "reviews" from cats and dogs on a sign above the pet food. So clever. I always love browsing the unique products and consistently find a treasure or two or five. Today, it was Oregon Chai. You mix it with milk and drink it hot or cold. What is there to say about this place that has not been said a million times before? As much as I eat out (a LOT) I also love to cook- and since I am a vegetarian I like to try fruits and veggies and items that are not traditionally found at the every day supermarkets. Don't get me wrong- Trader Joe's has something for everyone and the prices are surprisingly affordable. My go to is the $1.99 everything but the bagel seasoning which kicks up potatoes and veggies for me- to chicken and pasta for my husband. They always have fun seasonal flavored offerings and great hostess gifts for the holiday season, from flowers and plants to wine and chocolate. But on top of that -- Trader Joe's never fails to deliver top tier customer service every. single. time! I tip my hat off to the company for making it a point to hire and train such sincere and unique individuals! Today, my fiancée and I came in to do our usual grocery shopping and Dani (whom has never rung us up before) of course was very kind and exchanged small talk as she bagged my items. Towards the end of the transaction she handed me a bouquet of flowers and congratulated us on our baby (We're expecting!). This is my favorite Trader Joes. The Brentwood location about gives me an anxiety attack from the busy store and all the crazy drivers that do not pay attention. This location I can semi relax and enjoy my shopping trip. My staples are their champagne pear vinaigrette with gorgonzola dressing and also their cilantro dressing (both refrigerated by the salad mixes). I love their cookie butter (peanut butter consistency but made with gingerbread and biscuits. Their chili lime chicken patties are great. They have great cheap wine that surprisingly doesn't give you a hangover. I'm usually in and out of this store in 20 minutes which is awesome for Trader Joes. read more

I have heard about TJ for sometime now and never been, mainly because I just never felt like it. Finally went in because me and the wife were looking for some Agave nectar and some other interesting ingredients. I found the people that work there to be very friendly and actually very excited to help you. We didn't have allot of time to browse so I didn't look at everything, but they have allot here and I think the prices were much better than some of the other chains in the area. I love almost every TJ's I walk into, and this store was no exception. It had just dawned on me after like 3 years of seeing doctors in this neighborhood that there was a TJ's store right dab smack across the street from the golf course area where the medical buildings are located. I was like....wow. Why have I never gone into this TJ's before?! I decided to change that and head on over there last week to get me some delicious treats! This store seems a bit smaller than the one in Brentwood but then again, the one in Brentwood just expanded/remodeled or something so maybe it is, in fact, smaller, or maybe it's just an optical illusion. The parking lot is definitely smaller for this store, and as other reviewers have mentioned, it can be somewhat perilous to drive through. I actually saw two shoppers who had gotten into an accident in the parking lot on my way out, though I suppose that could have happened on Olive Blvd and they just pulled into the TJ's lot to exchange info, though they parked in the middle of the lot, blocking traffic and probably just made things even more dangerous. Luckily I was able to sneak out unscathed! But it did make me a tad nervous. Store-wise everything was pretty much on par with the other two locations I've been to in MO. (Brentwood and West County.) The employees were very friendly and helpful. The dude at the cash register even recommended some good milk chocolate since the chocolate bars I had picked up were, in fact, dark, and I don't much care for the bitterness of dark chocolate (unless it's a brownie or something, accompanied by a giganto glass of milk.) I did not encounter any of the disgruntled employees mentioned by previous reviewers. Also, this trip was made around 5-6pm so it was right during rush hour, when people were getting off work. The store had a lot of traffic, and they only had a few cashiers, but maybe people were still trickling in to start their shifts. I could not locate one of my favorite ultra-cheapo-yet-delish wines in this store (Green Fin) but I did see Benefactor Cabernet was on sale for something like $4.99 a bottle so I snagged one and boy was it good! I'd def buy that again. It's impossible for me to go into a TJ's and not buy alcohol. Mmm. Other misc stuff I got: - Petit Foures. Omfg. Mind blowing. Worth the price tag. Actually quite sizable portions, much bigger than other mass-produced varietals I've tried in the past. Delicious raspberry filling reminds me of homemade raspberry jam and incredible almond-y/marizpan flavor to the cake. - Macarons. Surprisingly the plain vanilla and chocolate kinds are better tasting than the multi flavor boxes. The multi flavor ones just taste kinda fake to me. - Mushroom Risotto. Not bad but needed some cheese to jazz it up. - Ginger Beer. Haven't tried yet but looks epic. - Mini pumpkin pies, unnfff soooo good.
