Ordered a toy for my daughter on the 19th this December. Said it would be ready by 8am the next day (20th). I didn't get an email so I waited all day patiently. Nothing. On the 21st I called to find out what's going on with my order especially since Christmas is so close. The employee answered and said she found my order and asked if the item was correct and I said yes she said "ok I see 3 of them here, I know a lady ordered a 2 of them. Let me process this and I'll call you back. " awesome I was happy thinking I was gonna get this toy. 15 minutes later my order was cancelled. About a week ago I went in... walked back and forth looking for "infant" orajel. I finally asked someone and he directed me to the toothpaste section where there was two other employees. They insisted it was in the infant section. The man directed one of the others to walk me over because apparently he was the manager. Well she had not appreciated that I involved the store manager. Rude. Turns out they were out of infant orajel. I went back today and I was in a bit of a rush. I saw orajel in the infant section. Awesome. I get home.... it's the same damn orajel I have that is for 2 years and up. Not only do I have to return this item but I still don't have what I need. I feel like someone just put the orajel in infant section to make the manager happy. So irritated with Sanger walmart!!! read more

Love this Walmart..Its open 24hrs. a day..their shelves are always fully stocked. the workers are very helpful and cheery..they have almost everything you need from personal items, to laundry detergent, to a bakery.. their prices are reasonable and the store is clean inside, and plenty of check out counters so theres no waiting in line! This Walmart doesn't disappoint you get exactly what you expect from a Walmart. Poor customer service their iPhone app will show products in stock that aren't in stock. When you ask associates about the discrepancies they will laugh. Today I was told I had a better chance at buying a winning powerball ticket than the Walmart app being correct. The only reason I shop at Walmart so much is Sanger doesn't have a Target. The associates here mostly seem to hate their jobs so why would they want to do anything to ensure inventory is accurate or go in the back to see if they have an item that shows to be in stock. If they tracked their inventory in real time and stocked through out the day like other stores I bet this store could increase sales by 10%. For instance why is it so hard to find Home style popcorn in stock? Apparently its like trying to buy the newest iPhone you have to stand in line for hours hoping you get one of the two boxes they have to sell. read more

I received a money gram from a family member in NC that she purchased in a Walmart. I went to my local Walmart & they said I couldn't cash the check because it had MY NAME ON IT! Why would you make a blank money order & send it?! I have a valid license & ID to cash the check, so why couldn't I get it? They were rude & I think this rule is stupid. That just means you can make any blank orders out & if you lose it & someone cashes it, tough luck! Get your shit together Walmart. If one Walmart does it one way, it should be done the same across the board! All Walmarts should have the same training & rules because it's one chain store! read more

The people working at this Wal-Mart are especially unhappy & rude, so I'm happy I moved from the area .called to see if the car battery I bought from them could be exchanged at a different closer Wal-Mart , had to wait on hold for 30 mins being transferred around then I got back to the last girl in customer service ,super rude & hung up. As far as walmarts go this one is possibly the best I've been in. It's always clean and well stocked. I buy almost everything here; groceries, clothes, electronics, and more. Being open 24 hours has come in handy too. read more

The worst Walmart in the country. Been to Walmart in more than twenty different cities across the country and the one in Sanger is by far the worst on customer service. I've made complaints to management only to find the problem unresolved going for the last five years. I've had to wait over ten minutes at the deli before anyone will even stop and offer help. I've never seen a deli worse than this one. This happens every week that I shop there and has been going on for years. Unfortunately Walmart has forced other chains to close, leaving nowhere to go but Fresno. Sanger Walmart has poor management and terrible customer service. read more

Worse Walmart I have ever been too. I asked an employee in the pharmacy for help to find aloe vera for sunburns she kept walking away and gave me the rudest response. I finally found it in the cosmetic dept. weirdest Walmart ever! The cosmetic area looks like a caged area. Since this was my first time there I asked the cashier if I need to pay for my item right now if I hadn't finished shopping. She said wait. While I waited she listened to the radio. I decided to pay for my item anyways and she continued to make me wait. While it was my turn to check out, another costumer came and asked her a question, where she then paused and answered her question. I was annoyed b/c a few minutes ago she made me wait. As a single father of two 9 month old twin girls I depend on Walmart to deliver value & safety. Walmart failed me miserably several months ago when I tracked down their only cart with seats for 2 infants. The seatbelts were broken and were so filthy I nearly puked. Honestly, not everyone that shops at Walmart is a complete slob. You would think a branded respected institutional giant like Walmart would have enough respect to keep their infant shopping carts safe and clean. I used to think this one was better than most around, but they're customer service needs lots of work. Starts with greeting your customers. Asked an employee for an item in electronics that they had a couple of hours before, she tells me they must have sold out after going to "check" by looking at the game case. I ask if she can check the cage in the back waited around for like 25min she never came back. Thanks Julie. Asked another employee working in the same department if he could check on it and he let me know within a couple minutes that they didn't have any, by scanning to check they're on hands. All while still waiting on Julie, waste of time. Went else where to buy my merchandise. read more

I went online to look at cake designs and they had a Harry Potter design that my daughter wanted for her party. I called to put in the order at the Sanger store, but they did not have that design at that store. I went ahead and just got her House colors (Gryffindor) and figured I could spruce it up with decorations. They were timely in getting the cake done by noon well before her party time. But the reason why I'm writing this review is for the person who did the cake (I don't know who did it, as a family member picked it up). Note, I did not request it, but the person who took my order paid attention and did their best to try to help. When I opened the cake, the person who wrote the "Happy Birthday", wrote it in a way that only a Harry Potter fan could appreciate from a fellow Harry Potter fan. So whoever in the Bakery at the Sanger Walmart did my 12yos birthday cake, a HUGE thank you! It was a wonderful gesture! read more

Horrible customer service. They try to speed you up before your even done talking. Older woman in electronics is very rude !!!!!!!

It's basically it's the only place in town that have decent prices when they have the items. They are always out of whatever I need and the shelves are almost always empty. It's very rare to have an employee willing to help or treat you like a valued customer, instead of a pest or burden. Oh, and when they make big mistakes don't expect the Store Manager to care or get off his phone to take the time to talk to you. He basically told me that his store makes enough money they don't have to care about how they treat people, because his sales are proof. I told him all his sales says is that the store is in a good location, because there is no other comparable stores to shop within a 30 minute drive and people do care about how they are treated. I now plan my shopping ahead of time and drive to the Wal-Mart in Clovis or the one on King Canyon Rd. I only go to this Wal-Mart if I need something right away or forgot to pick it up else where. read more

I'd like to start out with the fact that I've NEVER written an online review before but I completely despise this Walmart and it's costumer service so much so, that I HAD to share my frustration and disdain for this particular store, which apparently I can thank a Mr. Samuel Romero who "can be reached" at 559.875.4268 (whom I was NEVER ABLE TO REACH). I placed a simple online order for same day pick-up for ONE ITEM, a small $10 item, which apparently takes all day to complete. Being that the order was placed early in the day and 8pm had now rolled around & I've heard nothing of the order, I decided to call before driving to the store as I reside in Fresno, which I will admit is not too far, but this is the second (and absolute last) time I had to pick up an online order here due to availability. The first time was quiet unpleasant as well, but for the sake of length we'll stick to my second experience; I was able to do my grocery shopping, drive down to Sanger and WALK INTO THE STORE all while on hold waiting for someone to check status on my order. At one point I asked to speak to the manager WHO I NEVER REACHED. Instead my call was dropped twice and I spoke to 3 different customer service reps, two of which were so incredibly rude! It got to the point where each time my call was picked up to find out who I was holding for, the response was, "I know, I know... you've been on hold for over 30mins but I don't know what to tell you, no one's picking up." So once I finally got to the store (mind you still on hold this ENTIRE time) I waited another 15mins at the empty pick-up counter waiting for someone to help me meanwhile the Walmart employees kept walking right past me and I had rang the "customer service" bell several times. By the time I left the store I was so angry. This was the longest online process of my life. I would gladly drive out of my may to pick up an order in Selma before I ever go back to this store again. Hands down this was THE WORST customer service I have EVERRRR had in my life... and I've experienced plenty of crappy customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE, the hassle is more than it's worth. Again, thank you Mr. Romero... One star is too good of a rating. read more
