Upon my extensive search for coffee singles I was able to find here. My Pinay customer service cashier provided me with updated knowledge about the new credit card system allowing cash back to be up to $100. This particular location is convenient because of the proximity to Kings Canyon & Sunnyside. The 24 hour open sign is still limited to 1 am. If you are able to shop later into the evening and don't mind the restocking throughout the aisles, then you are the master of your own craft. Self check out is available to promote ease of checking out. There is a limit to groceries scanned & alcohol purchases are not allowed. Winco does have seasonal items available & the peace of mind to focus on your shopping list. The staff is always willing to provide a hassle free shopping experience for all consumers. Wide aisles and the motorized shopping cart is an excellent option I choose to utilize. One stop shopping is only rivaled by online retailers. Picked Peeps, croutons, vitamin water, hot salsa, oven roasted turkey, diced ham, tostadas with tajin, grape flavor and ended with checking out the bakery and getting fresh, baked rolls! Yum! Self checkout next. They have an area just to do that. Got to it and my card did a "malfunction" and luckily a worker was nearby and happy to help. Paid for it, thanked the worker and left. I called the Winco bakery for information about printing a picture on a birthday cake. And the one thing the guy fails to tell me even though it's seven in the morning and I don't need it until the night time is that it needs to be 24 hours in advance. He was in a hurry to hang up with me, I didn't even know what size the picture that needs to be submitted needs to be. So I spend all kinds of time making a picture and get there around 9 AM. Only till be told it can't be done without a 24 hour notice. No apology no sympathy at all. I even mentioned that I called, and there is no form of regret in their failure to notify me after I called, oblivious and asking for information. read more

My favorite place to shop! Everything is so organized and layed out. The workers are also very friendly. The register workers are always asking the customers if they found everything they needed and how their day is. I really appreciated the fact that the other day I was at the registrater checking out and I had bought a bag of frozen vegetables the lady inspected the bag and noticed there was a small tear that I didn't notice and showed me and offered to switch it out. I like winco because they have a vast variety of alcoholic beverages, their produce is fresh. The products they sale is cheaper than other competitors. And this location is clean. I also learned they are able to charge so cheap because they don't accept credit cards as a form of payment. They only take Cash, check, WIC and Ebt. They also have a hot food area in the back towards the meat and they also have pizza in the front I have yet to try. It does get packed with students because Sunnyside high is literally across the stresst here and it seems as though they are there just to "hangout" it can get annoying at times. Which is why I prefer going early morning not during the lunch/ schools out hours. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I'm using my friends account because I don't want to use mine. I went to Winco at around 10:40 at night shift. There was a gate that was partially open a little bit and I grabbed juices and cheese and this guy (David) came towards the gate and closed it and I informed him it's OK thank you I already got my cheese and juice and very rude demeanor he had just stated you know if you want I can get you kicked out of the store right now if you want to have an attitude. Mind, you telling me this in front of my eight year old daughter, like extremely rude and came at me a certain way. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. I did contact the night supervisor which his name was Abel and he was able to assist me and the employees name was David. He was on a forklift again. he was extremely rude and for him to speak that way to a customer with a child at that is very unprofessional. I do enjoy coming to the store, but I will no longer be coming at night shift. Thanks again Abel for helping me out again. DO NOT USE YOUR DEBIT CARDS. If you can't pay with cash go elsewhere. They took out the transaction from our bank account 3 times and are making us figure out the problem . Beware, there is no one locally. The in house rep will take your information and forward it to corporate in Idaho. Calling corporate in Idaho is just as frustrating. You can only leave voice messages for accounting and they do not return your call. You are left playing ping pong from local store to corporate. I come here for my basic grocery needs, they have a very big selection of many items. A large bakery you can also put in social request for cakes, they do great designs for reasonable prices. I also like their deli many of items to choose from and their house rotisserie chicken, fried chicken is very good. I like this grocery store. I had to remove one star from my previous rating because I've been to the supermarket three times over the past two weeks, and this store has been out of the Shasta 2L club soda -- one of my primary staples. They seem to have a problem keeping some items in stock. I really like this supermarket. They consistently have the best prices by far, and they typically have everything I need. I'm not in the habit of purchasing my fresh meats and fish here though, and sometimes their produce isn't the best, but for the most part, this is my " go to" supermarket. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is kept clean. Usually, they open a sufficient number of checkout aisles to meet the needs of customers without a long wait time in line. read more

I love Winco and I can't justify doing the bulk of my shopping at any other grocery store unless there's a great need. Winco has lower prices compared to other grocery stores and there's always a good selection of merchandise to choose from. Now during the COVID craziness Winco has a good amount of essentials that other smaller stores may not have such as dairy products and paper products. The only downside to this is many other people have figured this out too so now I have to shop at Winco around 8am. The only downside to Winco in my opinion is the sketchy customers at times, a really negative situation I had once in the parking lot, and when hoards of Sunnyside High kids buy their snacks here. It doesn't matter which location (though this one is my favorite), I just prefer WinCo over all the other grocery stores in town. The store is clean, bright, organized and the food is always priced right. On that note, can someone tell me why FoodMaxx and FoodsCo stores are always so dark?! Lol, not a huge deal but the brightness at WinCo is very welcoming. I'm the type of shopper that comes with a list and tries to get in & out within 30 mins. This was my favorite grocery to go to, but after today I'm not so sure any more. Today I had purchased a ballon $8-9 and it was a basic happy birthday square ballon with a dog and boy for my brothers birthday. I purchased it from customer service, and the lady even asked me who was it for. It was pretty pricey for one ballon, and it's not even a CLEAR fancy ballon, it was any ballon reg square size filled with helium. I purchased it anyway out of convenience. After I bought the ballon, I made way out of the store into the walk-path towards my car, where they have a path of cement and trees. As I went to move the so many carts blocking my path of my car, the wind blew and whooshed the ballon and the tree branches popped my ballon that I just bought. A nice couple nearby saw, and told me that winco had a good policy and will replace it. So I went back in to customer service, and she said I couldn't get it replaced because it left the building.....ok but technically I didn't leave the property and the only reason it popped was because there were so many carts in my way,plus the tree branches were so long! She then said that they couldn't replace it anyways because they didn't have that particular one, and if I wanted to deal with it I can come back tommorow to ask management. She couldn't even offer me a different ballon, since they're all the same price or try to understand. This was all in a span of 5 mins, and there was no empathy from her. Never again will I come to WINCO, a once beloved store, the customer service is trash especially since I got it from customer service too! If they can't help with one simple thing like this, I wonder what else they don't care about. You not only lost one family, but two + because others saw after I came back with no ballon. The most ridiculous thing is, the dollar tree down the street was able to accommodate me and provided better service than you, and they're in a worst part of town. I for one personally love WinCo! First off I support their business because they treat their employees well. The give the employees shares of the company and fair woking wages which is very admirable. As for my experience, never had a bad one. I usually visit WinCo in the morning because I detest trying to navigate a large sea of people when trying to find groceries. So parking has never been a issue for me also, if you shop early at WinCo you catch them right when they are stacking the shelves and produce section with fresh products. Winco has a huge variety of product and it's basically a one stop shop for groceries. I think the only thing that I have not been able to find at WinCo when grocery shopping is the cracker bread used to make pinwheels. Everything else I need can bee found here. They have a pretty good bakery section. I am a huge fan of their croissants because they taste like they use butter and not canola cooking oil like some places. The prices at WinCo are very reasonable. I would say that they are on the more affordable side of grocery stores in Fresno and they are easily accessible. I also love that I can shop with out being bothered but if I need help the staff is more than willing to lend a friendly hand. Finally WinCo has two options for check out. You can take the DIY route and do self check out or you can go the traditional route and have a cashier ring you up. I prefer to do it myself (I'm self sufficient that way). Last words: While I can't tell you where to buy food I can give you my advice. If you love low prices, large selection and quality food WinCo may be the grocer for you. If you do decide to visit WinCo visit in the morning time to avoid possible large crowds. Also visiting early will expedite the grocery shopping process. read more

I live nearby this winco by kings canyon & peach, I've had three incidents with an employee that is African American that was being super rude. The first incident was when my sister & my brother went to the self checkout to pay for OUR items, they kicked my sister & brother out for doing absolutely nothing, all they did was stand by me & was planning to help me take they stuff after i'm done paying, but this lady had the audacity to kick them out of the store i asked her why did she kick them out for she proceeded to ignore me, so i told her "they're going to help me carry my items that I BOUGHT", she threw some attitudes and said that if i wanted help maybe i should've went to the cashier register and not be at self checkout, which is completely wrong because i was paying with my OWN MONEY & i have the right to pay where i want to pay. I was super pissed so i just walked out. The second incident was in the mourning before i headed to school i went to winco, i was at the self checkout by myself, she proceeded to come up to me showing me a paper & saying something which i couldn't hear because i have my earphones on, so i told her "thats not mine" and she yelled so loud i heard it through my earphones saying "I DIDNT SAY IT WAS YOURS" so i was like man fuck this bitch next time she does something again i'm telling on her. THIRD INCIDENT was when i was with my DAD, we were at the self checkout & something was wrong with our register, i asked her politely, "ma'am i need help" she walked pass me & ignored me, so i asked her again, "ma'am i need help" she proceeded to yell at me, "IM GOING TO HELP THEM FIRST" even though i asked her first, so i got pissed & went to tell the manager on her, he told me he'll talk to her which i'm sure he probably didn't, i hope this lady gets fired. read more

I shop here 2-3 times a month. It is close and usually fast on check out. Get here early and you will be out early. Good selection of products and a really good deli. Love to spend time in this area. Good pre made sandwiches, watch the lettuce though. I like the fact that the employees do not bug you with insincere questions.
