I've always slept on Foods Co. My friend got me hooked on them recently and now I go all the time. It's clean and the workers are nice. They have some pretty good deals and if you download the app, you can get digital coupons and collect points. Every week there's different items on sale- most of the time you can get canned sodas for a bulk deal, for example 5 -12 packs of Diet Coke are only $4.99 each. Sometimes the 2 liters are .99 cents. I've gotten a bouquet of a dozen roses for $7.99. Celsius is always $1.99. bulk deals can be on other items such as toilet paper, paper towels, cooking oil, and bottled water to name a few. There's weekly specials on meats, I'll get lucky and get the tri-tip at a steal or chicken wings. I was gifted a pink birthday cake from here and it was honestly really really good. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it so definitely give their cakes a chance. The cookies are good too. Since deals are always rotating, I highly suggest checking out their weekly ads to see what you might want to snag. read more

Bought a 8 pieces of fried chicken already in a prepackaged and went I got home there were only 5 pieces, i called the store an employee told me that they sorry but they have an issue of people stealing the chicken; Isince that was the case i was gonna throw it away , he offered me a refund but i told him i couldn't go back at the store at the moment, not to worry about it could be done the next time. I came in the next day and the manager had an attitude about the refund, really? You guys have people going through the prepared food and don't see an issue on how gross that can be??!! I came to Foods Co on 4/11/21 as a personal shopper at the time for my side gig. Back in the day Foods Co would be a treat to come to. My dad would come here when I was a child - mostly for the cheap meat prices or weekly sales. I personally haven't shopped in a Foods Co in a while so it was refreshing to see that not much has changed in the set up since I was a little girl but the experience was so underwhelming. The prices and set up reminds me of Winco. The food prices are affordable and I was shocked how cheap some items were. The store was crowded and I did have difficulty finding some items but the staff was very helpful. They have your typical deli, produce, frozen, alcohol and bakery departments. The time I came in most of the produce was rotten, moldy and picked over which was disappointing. There was so many files to the point I didn't get any produce from vegetables to fruits. The bananas were all brown and rotten and it smell terrible in that area even with my mask on!. I don't remember that as a kid. Maybe I came in on an off day but it was not appealing at all. The store was organized but it looked bare in certain areas . I seriously wanted to get in and get out. This experience turned me off from returning to this location. There was like only two cashiers open and I remember waiting about 30 minutes so by the time I was done the frozen items were probably thawed. I would not return anytime soon but maybe in the future if I am in the area to see things have improved. read more

Been wanting to check out Foods Co. LARGE store. Clean, safe and practiced. Security guard when you walk in. Music playing. Really good prices! A large fresh goods area too! I ended up getting an assortment of muffins, fresh rolls that look delicious and cinnamon rolls too! Really impressed with all they have and the prices! Bought Jumbo marshmallows, cereal, sugar free pudding and grape flavor too! Shortly later, checked out and the worker was kind. You just have to bag your items. Good prices, service and store! I want to said thank you to Jose or Jesus (if i remembered his name) in meat department. He's awesome and helpful. I went inside. Couldn't find what I'm looking for and none on the shelf and I went to look for an employee. Employee nowhere to be found. I saw Jose/jesus (I don't remembered his name) came out from the meat back door. He saw me and asked if i needed help or need something to find. I said yes please I walked while store and no worker on floor. I'm looking for an items and seem there none on the shelf. So he decided to go the back and left his meat cart on the side to see if theyre any in stock which he did found them and brought out to me. It's was life saver. I bought a croissant chicken sandwich it was only $3 and some change. Cheap. I know there's inflation happening right now and businesses are trying to cut back on somethings but damn, I would rather pay $6 for a full sandwich than $3 croissant and Two tablespoons of chicken. One star location, one star clientele. Property owner who maintains this corner one star. Five stars FoodsCo staff Kroeger, these guys deserve a bonus. They're friendly, helpful, work together, look for stuff when you can't find it, etc. They keep their staff, which says a lot about management to keep long term staff. There are other Kroeger affiliates around Fresno, this one is the best. Can't say enough good things about their staff considering how challenging it is these days to get people to come to work and be pleasant. Will go to big box stores in town, even nicer grocery stores up the street, and employees make it seem like customers are an inconvenience or are so out of it staring at the ground or the ceiling they don't realize that when they treat customers like dirt, the customers go elsewhere. This FoodsCo makes lemonade out of lemons with their staff and makes grocery shopping a nice experience. read more

My husband looks at their weekly ad & shops here accordingly. He mainly buys the items on his list, picking up others items only if prices are comparable to Food4Less or Walmart. The only problem is location. We live in Clovis and this store is on the other side of town. Foods Co has great deals. All the time. The prices and layout are similar to Food Max. If they have a sale for, "Buy 10 items at ____ price." You must buy 10 (or increments of 10). Other stores will split the difference. (i.e. 2/$5, if you buy one, it will still be $2.50). This is not the case for Foods Co. Read the small print. They also make a very yummy and affordable broccoli and pasta salad in the deli section. read more

Poor customer services. Had $5.95 on my WIC card: was trying to redeem it. I did swiped my WIC card first and it asked for the pin. Did all that.. I end up paying for the veggies with my own money. Poor Norma R. her life was so busy she couldn't help me. She told me "I don't know!" Her other colleagues came and read my balance to me as if I didn't know how to read. Told them I was trying to redeem my $5.95. The cart boy (didn't get his name) said to me "idk you will have to ask WIC, don't know if they even have a # for you to call them." They all left. I wish this Foods co was like the one on shaw. The parking lot is tiny and very hard to navigate. There are homeless people walking around bothering you while you are trying to get your grocery to your car. The store its self inside is so so, the place could use a deep clean, the staff could have a better demeaner, but I've been to worse. It's not my favorite grocery store but when I'm on that side of town I will stop in and do some shopping for small stuff. read more

Ah. The place I love to hate. It's the closest grocery store to my house, so we go all the time. You can't beat the rock bottom prices. But... I am always harassed by tamale salesmen in the parking lot. The aisles aren't wide enough (or people there just don't understand when they're in the way). Their produce goes bad quicker than other places. Some pros... They're really quick with handling WIC checks and WIC items are well labelled. The employees are nice. I purely give a 4 star based on the meats, chicken, ribs, tri tip, selection and price for lb. Pricing is good for the lb and the cut of meat, I visit solely for the carnivorous side! I've shopped for price for lb but have not meet the goal, until I visited here and was told by a friend. I stock up on meat, freeze the rest and if you enjoy cooking then the price is right, here. Favorite grocer for bulk buying. It is fun to shop with my family here. Pricing is always affordable with quality products. I like collecting points to use to lower the gas price by ten cents per gallon for every $100 I spend in the store. The gas station is conveniently in the same lot as the store. read more

Full of Riff Raff people all the time. I live right around the corner so this is the store closest to me. I swear I always get out of there upset and stressed out. Customers like to stop and chit chat with each other and don't care who's all stuck behind them cause there's no room to go around them. The employees are friendly and you always see them sweeping the floors and stocking, and they are fast at the cash register. read more

Foods Co itself is nothing unusual. I'd rate that 4 stars. This review is for the gas service station. ALERT!!!!! THERE MAY BE A CARD READER AT THIS GAS STATION! We recently received a fraudulent charge today on a card for $10,000 at some dumb thing called HopperMotorplex in TX , which was gratefully declined by our card company. So nothing was really lost. However, we suspect that someone stuck a card reader on one of the stations here, which is how our card info was stolen (this is a card we use specifically for gas, and we usually go to this gas station for gas...our last gas charge was at this gas station as well on 8/12/2014). So be alert and aware of information thieves at this location....check your charges because I'm sure we were not the only people whose credit card information got stolen. The gas station itself is pretty good and among the cheapest in Fresno. There are usually a lot of people so you might have to wait a short while to get a spot to fill up. I would just be very wary and look closely at where you stick your cards next time you go to pay for gas. read more

Comparing to the other food co and food max in town. This place is probably the cleanest. I'm giving it a five because of ambiance. It is not dirty and ghetto like other locations in town. Although this is no Whole Foods that offer premium items. read more

The store itself is alright. Good sized produce section. The meat selection can be hit or miss; they may or may not have what you are looking for especially if it's a nicer cut of anything. Their beer selection is poor, unless you are looking for typical mass-produced beer, which is plentiful here. My biggest gripe about this store is the mutant clientèle. It's reminiscent of a trip to WalMart. I often go to Save Mart (further, and more expensive) to avoid the hassle and frustration of putting up with everything that a trip to FoodsCo often entails. I've been consistently disappointed in this supermarket. That's a shame because it's close to my home. It would be nice to shop at this store, but it seems I rarely have a good experience when I have to stop in here for some reason. If it isn't odd types roaming through the parking lot, it's not having whatever I'm looking for in stock. The prices aren't as good as other markets, and the meats and produce don't impress me. The place is clean enough, and the staff seems sufficient and competent, but that's about the only positives I have to report. read more

This used 2 b my "go to" grocery store but I won't b going back. I was in the produce section and the employee had a broom and dust pan marked produce. He swept the fallen produce OFF OF THE FLOOR and then used the same broom to sweep the edge of the produce rack, touching ALL of the produce that was on the rack. All of the lettuce, cabbage, cilantro, etc is now contaminated with whatever was on the bottom of any customer's shoes that walked in the produce section. I have a baby and 2 young kids and would like to keep them parasite free so I'll be getting my groceries elsewhere from now on. With a large car and another SUV I love their gas rewards program but not enough to risk my families health. read more

This store is so unorganized and dirty. Aisles are crowded with merchandise and people. The day manager seems like she can't understand English or just can't read. She was very rude. I would rather go and spend a little more money at vons or savemart. At least the service there is 110% better than this dump. Doesn't even deserve one star read more

Strange layout. Has a fresh baked breads department but the breads they have are random world breads that no one would normally use. Not brightly lit like Vallarta or Save Mart, nor as clean. The only reason we stopped here was to pick up some groceries that we didn't want to go home for. read more

I primarily go here for the good deals with produce & chicken. Otherwise, prices are comparable to Walmart, WinCo, & similar shops.

I've had nothing but bad customer service at this store. Just the other day, Denise W an older African American lady was so rude as a cashier at register. No hi or any greetings. She scan my stuff and I asked, "one bag please." She then turns around to her coworker behind to the register behind and said "no hi or anything but a bag." When was the last time customers were obligated to give you a greeting? Rude. The previous visit I had a cashier on his knees on his phone texting because he had no customer in his line. When I came, he proceeds to bag my groceries with no greetings. He then finished my transaction with a "You're welcome." Food co needs to retrain their employees since they work like they don't need a job. For goodness sake, you are in customer service scanning groceries. You don't even bag them anymore. Your life and job is so hard. It's not like you're saving a life. Will rather drive farther for groceries then go here. read more
