My first time visiting Sanger, CA and had a very unpleasant experience. Management is always walking around but never stop to ask questions or help. I was waiting for a lockup and they went to grab an associate to unlock it, when they could have unlocked it themselves. Associates are much nicer and helpful! read more

If I could give it zero star I would.... My boyfriend and I drove and hour away to go get needohs. The website for in store showed there were several different kinds available in store. Once we got in the store we headed to the location where the app says which isle they are in. We couldn't find them there so we found an employee at the electronics counter. He stated that there are no needohs and that management is holding them and does not allow anyone to buy them. Mind you Walmart only lets you purchase ONE per customer. We have also purchased needohs at other Walmarts and the website properly reflects what is in the store. We then went to customer service to find a manager . The manager was standing next to a group of other employees. Another employee came up to the counter and I explained again what happened and he said no needohs but the manager is right over there. She finally came up to me and I kindly explained again the reflection of the website and she rudely said no we will not be selling any needohs and gave me no explanation. I tried to plead my case and she said no. I called customer service because I think this is ridiculous. Why are you hoarding them? Are you saving them so you can buy them all? I was only going to take two of them out of probably at least 40-50 items. Please never go to this Walmart again they do some shady stuff. read more

Well I'm glad we do have a big store here in our lil city so we don't have to go out of town to get necessities . But it also has lots of issues just like every thing else. My to go too though is the rotisserie lemon chicken if you get it at the right time it's nice & hot juicy and tasty & at a good price & quick dinner choices.most of things are pretty well stocked depending. Customer service is pretty good nice & friendly & most of all the time will stop & help which that's pretty awesome!. They do try & keep it pretty clean nothing thrown on the ground or just messy like some other places I've been. I usually have my things delivered now that's where it's an issue. The workers IN the store don't sometimes care how they bag things that WE are paying for but when people I guess DoorDash they shop for you most of the time do care how they shop for you. Today, while shopping at Walmart in Sanger California, I selected three Holiday Time brand 200-count Sync Function Multicolor Christmas lights that were displayed at a reduced price. There were three different color variations, all clearly marked under the same Holiday Time brand and price signage. When I proceeded to checkout, I was redirected to Customer Service due to a price discrepancy. After discussing the issue, the Customer Service associate stepped away to speak privately with the Team Lead, Mandey. It appeared there was hesitation to honor the displayed price. I respectfully requested to speak with a supervisor, at which point a Coach named Kali became involved. Another female was present, but she denied to introduce herself. I was informed that Walmart is not required to honor the posted price despite the item being clearly displayed at that price point. This was concerning, as retail pricing accuracy standards--supported by Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance--state that consumers should be charged the price that is clearly advertised or displayed at the point of sale, barring clear and obvious errors. Many states, including California, also have pricing accuracy laws intended to protect consumers from misleading or incorrect shelf pricing. I understand that mistakes can occur; however, the handling of this situation lacked transparency and resolution. I am requesting clarification on Walmart's pricing policy and how price discrepancies are expected to be resolved when signage does not match the register price. read more

The Walmart itself is fine to shop and employees aren't bad. I stopped in to shop for a few things and my baby and toddler both picked out a toy. They were much cheaper online so I made sure to add the items to my cart on my phone so that I could easily show the cashier. When going to pay I asked if they could price match their own online prices, and the cashier was very nice but said no but that he was new so double checked with next register over. They told him no. I politely paid, and then on my way out checked the corporate policy which says they can. So I stopped by customer service on my way out and showed them my receipt and explained I was hoping to price match Walmart.coms online prices. The associate told me no, that their store manager doesn't allow them to. I made a light joke saying that I guess I'll order the items for store pickup again to get the better price and return with my original receipt. He told me I should go to Clovis/Herndon to get it adjusted and that they match online prices. I politely exited. I've worked retail management for years and to try to inflate your own store sales and deflate a neighbor store is wrong and I hope the DM for this region sees this review. I called later in the evening to verify their price match policy and the associate that I spoke to confirmed that the store manager Rosie will not allow any of her employees to price match their online website prices. So now I will be giving Clovis my sale, and Sanger can be expecting my return this weekend. From my experience in retail this seems like a new manager trying to inflate their sales and deflate others in their district to have higher results. My all time favorite store! It's clean, well-stocked, staff are always busy working, staff make eye contact, speak Spanish and always ask if they can't help you find something. Staff have helped me by getting me a shopping cart when I unexpectedly needed one. He just saw me walking with my hands full and offered to help! I once dropped a 24 pack of soda and busted right at my feet after checkout and the staff came to help me right away and the manager approved me to return it and get another one without charging me! Sanger is a small farming community, there are grape vines growing for miles around and orchards of nuts and oranges. Stopped at the Walmart and found unusual stuff like Tens unit for pain control at $30 . Its a impressive unit that gives electrical pulses to get rid of pain. Nasty bathrooms. As I walked out to my car with my stuff, a guy named Ricky walks up to me at the back of my car and grabs my cart away from me the whole time talking about a video game system. First I Thought he was talking to me, then I realized he must be on a Bluetooth. After trying to engage him in conversation that only he was having... I feel pretty stupid. Later as he walked away with the card I saw him putting it with other cards and I'm pretty sure since he had a name tag, that he's an employee. Other than that, it's just a Walmart. I went in to pick up some groceries with my boyfriend around 5 pm on a Sunday and the cashier charged my debit card twice for a total amount of 300$ when I had a seperate form of payment for 120$ of it on another card- he didn't charge the amount on my first card and charged my debit twice instead. He seemed new and didn't know what he was doing which is fine but we go straight to customer service to see if we can just return it all and re purchase with the right forms of payment used that the cashier failed to do. The man at the customer service desk was no help. Said we needed a scale to weight produce again when the costs were already on the original receipt. He basically didn't give a shit and tried making it complicated so we would just leave. Also informed us since it was a debit the amount won't go back right away (obviously) but the point was to deplete the amount on our other card. So since he didn't give a crap about properly charging our bank cards I finally said forget it no one wants to help us after THEY messed up. As we left some girl gave a really rude face and said "go ahead" like an evil little girl when it was none of her business. Absolutely disgusting that people there act like they don't know how to help you when it's literally their job to do those things. No manager tried helping. Just a bunch of idiots who didn't wanna work. We were tired and just wanted to go home so I had to leave before I told them how do to their job. And even at that the manager of the store wouldn't call me it would be some assistance manager it would take me telling them if the manager wouldn't call I would call the 800 number. So that's how the manager would call me. But things never changed so I gave up I don't need Walmart they need me. So I shop in Fresno. This Walmart is better than most Walmart's I have been too. Clean, friendly helpful staff. Go early in the morning things are stocked better. BIG BIG hit is the Walmart Grocery App, best thing ever. So, if I am at work or home with my busy life. I can log in and look for groceries and supplies I may need. Pretty much my grocery list and have my card hooked up to the account making the purchase and choosing what time will be convenient for me to pick it up at. In the app they ask if you would like bags to purchase for your food or bring your own bags, also the BEST EVER is they bring it to your car and load it for you and place them in your bags. This works perfect for busy moms or anyone who does not want to get out of the car with kids, even elderly people that can't walk very well. I am so impressed with Walmart way to step up the game. Also, if you order something and they don't have that item they will substitute it for something similar and ask you if you like it and if not they take it back to the store and don't charge you. This is a great feature. It's like a express Walmart and this helps me with impulse buying! Get what you need and jam out of there;) Hope everyone gives this App a try. FYI I work night and do my grocery shopping at night and pick it up on my way home, all without getting out of my nice warm comfy car! read more

Ordered a toy for my daughter on the 19th this December. Said it would be ready by 8am the next day (20th). I didn't get an email so I waited all day patiently. Nothing. On the 21st I called to find out what's going on with my order especially since Christmas is so close. The employee answered and said she found my order and asked if the item was correct and I said yes she said "ok I see 3 of them here, I know a lady ordered a 2 of them. Let me process this and I'll call you back. " awesome I was happy thinking I was gonna get this toy. 15 minutes later my order was cancelled.
