Buyers beware of customer service group and store manager at Walmart Seabrook, NH who are not consumer friendly and would give the customer hard time to return an item. They give the customer a hard time returning an item that was purchased from Walmart.com. They keep you waiting while they find the store manager, then refuse to accept their own walmart product, which is being returned in less than 30 days. This is one of the bigger Walmart locations that I've been to. You can find just about anything you want here as there are many departments including groceries, clothing, cosmetics, linens, home decor and so on. Everything is attractively displayed especially in the women's clothing department. In fact I went into the store only intending to buy some bulbs for one of the lamps that I have in my house and I ended up leaving the store with not only the bulbs but about fifty dollars worth of clothing and it would have been even more if I hadn't been planning to shop in more stores later on that day. Everything is reasonably priced here and you'll get a lot for what you pay. The only thing I really didn't like was that one of the employees I dealt with there didn't seem like a people person and was not very friendly. This person could have just been having a bad day though because by and large the employees here seemed pretty nice. The restroom was clean and well maintained. I really did like the store, I am enjoying the items I bought and I will certainly be back the next time I travel through the area. read more

I haven't been at a Walmart for the longest time but the people that works here and shops here are super friendly. Things are organized on the shelves even in the Supercenter and even the regular Walmart's are disorganized. This is my third review and my experience in this store was worse than my last two visits. Still no price scanners to be seen, and after an employee WATCHED ME PURCHASE my items at self-checkout, a lady yelled for my attention in a rude manner as I was exiting with MY PURCHASED PROPERTY, presumably to ask for my receipt, which I am NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED TO PROVIDE. Nobody else exiting got yelled at. I ignored her and kept walking knowing I did nothing wrong because I am fed up with this store. I love the fact as a store that they are getting some essentials in . Its a very trying time. Great hours and signage saying please be socially distant. Too bad with Walmart's having high infection rate of covid19 you can walk around and see employee disregarding the space of 6 feet. They are on top of each other in just shooting the breeze. Groups of 5. And 6. Come on people think a little. Also I was a bit disappointed to see the lack of cleaning as you find in for example HomeDepot . Buyer beware Went in to purchase a cell phone was greeted by a gentleman name Lester. Got their promotions agreed to a cell phone with $700 off the price of the phone with trade-in come to find out this is false information and only going to end up with $350 off the phone. The manager of the apartment in the regional manager was there the day of this incident I was there for over four hours waiting for everything to port over into my new phone now I have to waste another four hours to wait till at the port back into my old phone because I was giving false information by the sales team. I'll start this review with the fact that I rarely if ever shop at any Walmart. I moved recently and as much as I took with me to my new abode, I still needed to buy some things for the new place. They are absolutely correct when naming this a super- store because its absolutely enormous! And although we have to follow the COVID mandates, a store this size can handle a load of shoppers. Busy is an understatement. Not being used to the grocery section.....it should I say market, I browsed some and found it very clean and well stocked. I was there for a few house wear items so didn't buy any groceries. As much as the grocery area was neat & well stocked, I found the house wear area the opposite. Especially the small appliance section...which was quite a disappointment. I asked an associate in the department regarding the item(s) I was looking for but got nowhere... Not sure if she knew what I even meant. Anyway, it was too bad & I decided that If had enough of this massive place. If you want to shop in a superstore, this is the place for you. On the whole, most people were social distancing... everyone/ anyone shopping were wearing masks. It's mandatory now. It is seldom that you get outstanding customer service from large superstores like Walmart especially if you have a complicated return issue involving a third party seller. However, everyone of the Walmart folks I dealt with were professional, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help and resolve my issue. DONNA in the "Customer Service" counter, and believe me I use the term "Customer Service" Lightly. She was busy talking with a friend of hers by the looks of it, i walked up at 820pm to cash a payroll check which I cash EVERY WEEK at the walmart in SEABROOK NH. I handed her my Id and started signing my check, she then immediately said "Dont even bother signing the check, im not going to cash your check" then threw my id across the counter so hard it fell on the floor. It was like I bothered her, and she didnt want to help me, I patiently stood there didnt ask for help, did not bother her and her friend, she literally turned me away. You expect that with a new store location, and a much larger benchmark, that the new store will be clean, organized, friendly and helpful staff, and overall affordable. Unfortunately, the store owners do not take pride in their new store, as with their old location which was just down the street. The only difference with this new location is the Supercenter feature - adding a full grocery. The aisles are still a mess, customer service lacks dealing with the customer in a polite manner, sectional are not organized, and the bathrooms are a pigpen! The store has been opened just about a month. It's a shame the staff, management, and owners do not take pride or the responsibility to clean and organize this new store. There is absolutely no reason why a superstore cannot keep clean and organized. The store has no navigation map or visible signs to say where things are. If you are shorter than 6-feet tall, forget about being able to navigate around and visibly see the signs they do have above the tall shelves. When you walk into the store, they have basically reversed everything.. so if you remember the location at 270 Lafayette Rd, everything that was on the right side as you walked in that store is now on the left. Clothing is near the middle of the store, to the left. Toiletries/fragrances, pet food, etc is on the right side including lawn and garden. On the furthest left side is the grocery store. Customer service is in the center of the store up front in the worst possible location. I don't understand why they placed customer service in the middle front of the store with the foot traffic coming from the cash out registers, there is interference with the long lines for customer server and those trying to check out of the store. There should be a navigation map or an app specifically for a smart phone for folks to use to navigate the store if the owners aren't going to hang the signs in convenient and readable locations. It's a shame about this new location and the lack of pride by those who manage and own this store. I am looking forward to Target coming to the local area, as it will be my first choice over this Walmart. read more

I was a member of Sam's Club since the day it opened and it was a great experience since day one! The Automotive, Bakery, Wine, Books and even Snack Bar were fabulous. However, the best of all was the Pharmacy Dept. My wife and I had over 20 prescriptions there and knew EVERYONE on a first name basis, from Techs to Pharmacists! Wal-Mart is atrocious and worst of all is the Pharmacy Dept. The Service is atrocious, the staff very low-class and not very intelligent, nor service oriented in the least. I feel that I am in Appalachia going there.......... If there was a 'zero' rating this place would get it! BIG MISTAKE CLOSING SAM'S CLUB! P.S. The prices are NOT even very good, especially on food products and groceries. read more

I usually quite enjoy this walmart location as it's always been well stocked, clean, and friendly staff. It's almost always busy and long check out lines so be prepared for that. Depending on season and time of day parking can get super tight so you might as well park on the back side of the garden center when you see that! I took off 2 stars because of walmarts new policy about dogs. Prior to my last visit my esa could sit in the carriage- now he is required to walk alongside my carriage or be held. The last time I had my esa walk alongside ppl kept hitting him with their carts and hurting him even though he had his bright vest on. Bad job on Walmart for changing their policy and not making it safer for ppl with esa's. Other than that awesome! read more

Always finding destroyed products like toys or especially in the care section. Broken items,items not in containers or whatnot. The store is always clean though which is a very big positive, come here a lot to get something quickly. They have everything you could look for and everything you need for cheap prices. The subway in there is usually very dirty though I have found a fly in my sub in the past and I don't really plan on returning there. Stay away from the subway. read more

First I waited in back of a women who needed a price check on app,es per pound, 15 minutes later, the sent associate returns tell customer you were wrong. Women finally has ordered rung up and leaves, my turn opps Cashier change time, we get a young lady Zurymary I have a small order which Incudes, 2 Gifts Cards, 2 greeting cards, she puts an amount on gift card, I respond that I would like to determine the amount on my gift cards, She is annoyed and rescinds my total order and starts over with the amounts I request. I pay my bill and receive one receipt, I inquire about the gift card receipts, she says I never told her those were gift cards(?). It's my fault I should have let her know at the beginning and now it's to late to print out gift card receipts. I was flabbergasted and left. As we were leaving, the women greeter, ask if my 9 lb dog was a service dog, I said No,and I come every Sunday but I know never to put her in a cart. The women says you can not bring the dog in here ever. I guess that's a new rule. Other greeters said, dogs are welcome but not in carts. I will avoid this location, more because of the treatment by the cashier. I was shocked. read more

Going to Epping Walmart is worth the trip. In this Walmart the last time I was unfortunate enough to venture in and shop June 2019 I was unlucky enough to be treated like a thief and essentially held against my will by a cashier. This happened all because I had requested the transaction be suspended and too be a different register from the garden center one too be transferred too one inside the store after the fact she had messed up the transaction which then lead to the card to decline and refuse to process it and any further attempts at all... I was told by the cashier that I wasn't 'allowed to leave' and she heavily implyed in her tone, mannerisms and words that I was basically a thief and and went as far as using the fact my kids (who have special needs and at this point are going into sensitivity overload and feeding off of her negativity and the disdain towards me, along with her attempts feeling it was her place to actually verbally chastising them for acting up) had opened products as part of the reasoning. (The product opened was 2 sodas and their hot popcorn chicken that I had cash on hand that I could have used but was refusing knowing there was nothing wrong with the card besides the incompetence of the cashier) Took me two times requesting that a a manager be called and then pretty much yelling at her like a drill Sargent on the third attempt before the cashier who rolled her eyes at me finally complied. The manager knew the card and the program and was able to correct the problem she had done. After the card worked and approved the transaction her words to me after the manager had left and she was printing the receipt were 'it's good for you that it worked'.... once again implying that I had the intention to steal. In her own words 'it's good for them and her' that I did not call the cops over being illegally detained and that I have not decided to pursue it legally at this time. I'm doing this review on the auto care center. Went in today for a simple oil change. Waited 30 minutes just to ask someone about getting it done. They are slow and disorganized. One employee was on the phone the entire time while there was a line of people waiting. The voucher employee was completely lost. since this store opened, I've ordered about 7 things online; sent site to store.. needless to say, every single item picked up has been damaged, destroyed or broken or bent. I got an email yesterday saying my sons bike was ready for pickup.. we drove all the way there to find out they didn't have time to assemble it.. and they were not reminded to assemble it by a certain time. regardless, the manager said the most they can do is wait until the assembler employee comes to work in a few days, and I should call daily to remind them to do so!!!! Hands down the cleanest Walmart bathrooms I have ever seen. Every time I go in, the bathrooms are literally sparkling, the toilets were recently cleaned, there are decorative flowers etc. This doesn't look like any other Walmart bathroom I've seen - kudos to whoever cleans this one! read more

First time shopping in the grocery, reached in the case for a rotisserie chicken and heard a blood curdling scream from my five year old. He had touched the super hot shelf and got a second degree burn! I was shocked that a store would even put such a hot thing SO low that any child could reach in and seriously burn him or herself. I've never seen a chicken case set up that way before. Always I have seen them high enough that a child won't touch and also the place I was used to had heat lamps warming them, not a hot shelf. The manager had zero compassion and simply said " I have no control over how the case is set up." Like I was blaming her personally, which I wasn't. Went in to the auto center to get my winter tires mounted on and they tried to charge me $100 when the tire mounting is only supposed to be $10/tire. I bought the tires there too so you would think that they wouldn't charge you again for balancing when you are supposed to get free balancing for the life of the tire. Seems like a bait and switch to me. My local mechanics charge less than that (and don't take 2 hours to do it like Walmart said it would take). Will not go to the auto center again. read more
