Please explain to my why Walmart makes billions of dollars per year but will not hire two full time employees to keep their bathrooms clean, sanitary and maintained. Bathrooms were the most disgusting public bathrooms I have ever seen in my life, including school bathrooms. There was literally feces smeared on the stalls. Dirty wads of toilet paper were everywhere, all over sinks and floors. Whole staff had a bad attitude. read more

Great location, visited while on vacation. Lots of things in the isles, look a little bit bigger and wider than the normal Walmart. Everything was stocked and didn't seem to be out of much. Also went on a Friday during prime time shopping. The only complaint would be how wild and crazy the parking lot was. Just really busy and a lot of people, besides that, good experience. read more

I live in Sevierville, so this is my only Walmart option near me. It is impossible to find a parking spot. Tourists everywhere!! Long lines at the very few check outs with a cashier. Even the self-checkouts have long lines. This store is always crowded due to the fact that Pigeon Forge is a tourist city and is growing. This is probably the busiest WalMart that I have ever been to. When you enter there are people trying to sell you some sort of 'deal' in order to get free or discounted tickets to local attractions. Otherwise, the store is great! They have a really large baby section, and their customer service desk is quick. This Walmart is great when you are renting a house or cabin nearby as you will find everything you will need for your stay in the mountains. This place has it all. We stopped once and we stocked our refrigerator and pantry all at once for the next week. The prices are good and with their app, you scan your receipt and they search all competitor ads and refund you the difference if they find a cheaper item somewhere else. Pretty cool. read more

This Wal Mart is usually a nightmare being on the main road in tourist town, generally rude people, crowded, poor selection, etc etc. However, two nights in a row I have come in after midnight and had the most pleasant cashier I have ever seen at a Wal Mart...I know crazy right. Totally embarrassing even by Walmart standards. Produce section looks disgusting and some of the product is obviously past it's expire date (wilted grapes?). Half of the grocery shelves are not stocked and you can see how much dust are on the shelves - it would make Pig Pen from the Peanuts say, "Man, that's dirty." Let's also not forget about the Walmart check out tradition of 20 customers waiting in 3 open lines. this wal marts has a tremendous no. of tourist almost 1,000,000 a month pass thru here. The handicap parking is allways full at all times day and night. I ve seen fights break out several times from people waiting for a person to pull out and someone else pulling in from the opposite side. I ve contacted the manager several times and only to be told that the city regulates the no. of spots and they cant add more !! I think , if that's the case, they could ask to meet the city to get more. They don't want to pay for a lawyer or take the time to help those less fortunate. also as the population gets older from baby boomers this will be a greater problem. We had our brakes totally redone in early September costing just over $700. We brought out vehicle to the Sevierville Wal-Mart for a fire balance and fire rotate and balance. It was almost 4 hours to complete !! The manager even apologized and have a partial refund. We noticed that we had a slight wobble and pull. It was during the holidays and this is my wife's vehicle who really think about it . I drive it the other day and noticed a grinding noise and uneven brake performance. We brought her vehicle back to the mechanic who installed the new brakes and rotors. We were informed the discs were warped and had glazing. This is caused by the uneven torquing from the rotation. So besides having to spend another almost $200 to correct what the idiots at Wal-Mart did, we had to sit and wait for the repaur. We also have always used Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil. Wal-Mart changed tgat, but instead of using a 5 quart containing which is about $25, they used 5, 1 quart containers costing over $7. Each. I visited this Walmart today around 3 30pm. I noticed the cashier at the next register (register #17) use the ink pen/highlighter pen to verify if the 20 bill used was real. Next purchase she used the pen. Third purchase used the pen again...I was thinking that is a great business practice. 4th customer she didn't use the pen. Difference??? next to the worst waimart i've ever been in. at 11.05 pm may 7 we stood in line 20 minutes. customer service closes at 11.00 pm. had to wait on customer returning several items two lanes were open. we hade a $100.00 or more in the cart i left it in the store. hire more employees to run registers you wouldn't have to pay one to restock my cart load. corporate greed is what i call it. i hate walmart more every day. read more

. Walmart prices are no longer hard to beat. It's been awhile since shopping at Walmart so I decided to give it another try. BIG MISTAKE. Walmarts customer service continues to decline in my opinion. With this purchase I also purchased an egift card online. Was able to pick up the movie no problem. However Walmart was unable to verify my payment for gift card (same transaction and payment as movie) so we're unable to fulfil that part of the order. I was told that it can take up to 10 business days for me to get the money returned on my credit card. So let me get this straight. You're unable to verify my payment yet it will take up to 10 business days to return my money. You were able to verify the SAME payment for part of the order but not the other. What am I missing??? Oh yes.....a week out and I still don't have access to my $100 that I paid them for my egift card. Needless to say. This will be my last purchase at Walmart period. Multiple items in the wrong spot and management said that customers must have put it there and then the guy walked away laughing because "company policy they can only take $5 off the item" but any other walmarts I've been to they give it to you for the price where it was! My husband and I woke up this Memorial Day morning to a dead car battery in our 2008 RAV4. I told my husband that we should bring our SUV to the Sevierville Walmart Auto Center to get a new battery. After my husband jump started the RAV4, I wiped off the battery, radiator cover and the valve cover plastic shroud from the white corrosive dust that comes from the battery terminals; we then headed over to the Auto Center. I keep this vehicle pristine...it stays in the garage and I keep it clean as a whistle inside and out. We arrived at Walmart about 7:26 am and told the service attendant checking in the cars that we wanted the 750 CCA battery Maxx 24F for $104 and corrosion resistant treatment for $3.00. We then pulled our car into the bay to wait for a technician. There were 2 technicians working at this time. We waited with our vehicle for 30 minutes until another tech arrived, because we wanted to keep the car running so the technician wouldn't have to jumpstart the battery. At 8 am a third tech Thomas881 (according to the service order) arrived and we turned our vehicle over to him. We commenced shopping for some items we needed for a Memorial Day gathering we were having later in the day. Around 8:25 am we were paged informing us the vehicle service was complete. We returned to the Auto Center service desk and paid our bill and took our Toyota home. My husband asked me if I wanted him to check and see if they installed the 750 CCA battery. So, he popped the hood and said that the battery was installed correctly but that he thought the tech gouged the valve cover shield. That caused me to inspect the shield and sure enough it was deeply scratched. I know this for a fact because earlier in the morning I had wiped down the engine compartment.so, A I called Joe, the Walmart manager, and he told us to bring the vehicle back on Memorial Day and that the technician Thomas 881 had "worked for Walmart for 23 years." First of all, I had preparations to complete for a Memorial Day party. Secondarily, I don't think I will ever bring our vehicles to Walmart again considering the lack of respect for their customer's vehicles. Thirdly, I think the 23 years of incompetence that Thomas 881 inflicted on our vehicle and the general public is irrelevant.
