I recently purchased a pair of shoes and never wore them -- they were not used outside and remained in the same condition as when purchased. I came to the store with the original receipt, fully expecting a standard return in accordance with the return policy. However, my return was refused, with the explanation that the shoes were allegedly in "poor condition," which is absolutely incorrect. What made the situation even worse was that the refusal came directly from the store manager. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no willingness to properly review the item, explain the decision, or offer any alternative solution. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer. When a manager behaves this way, there is nowhere for customers to escalate the issue in-store, which makes the experience even more frustrating. I have never had such a poor customer service experience, especially from a store I expected better from. This experience did not align with the standards of customer service I associate with the Dillard's brand. I truly hope this situation is reviewed, as it reflects poorly on the store and management. I would strongly encourage Dillard's corporate team to look into this location and ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

I've warmed up to the house brand fizzy water and accept that they run on the sweeter side. We also picked up a nice travel neck pillow, as we left one at home. There were 2 neck pillows that were identical, one blue and the other black. For some unknown reason the black one was a couple buck cheaper than the blue one. Not being picky about color, we chose the less expensive black color neck pillow. This location has a nice clean restroom here, with purse hooks on bathroom stall door placed at a reasonable height. Unlike the ones at the Lexington store where they are mounted 6 ft high... a challenge for short girls. There are water fountains by the restrooms. While browsing the store, I was surprised to find the electronics dept selling a flip phone. Do people still buy these? It was a pretty thick phone, too!

But this shout out is specifically for Zoe in Clinique because I still get my essentials and she knows all my favorites and color likes. I get calls for all promotions and bonus times which I love and regardless of how busy she is in store I hear the smile and patience while I give her my order and ask questions. Even when you call in there's an operator who politely transfers your calls, which is so personal. I miss the piano, but customer service from thousands of miles away is top notch. There are signs throughout, so it is relatively easy to find the area you are hoping to shop in. Each time I've come to search for something, I have not had any luck. The main reasons I have not bought anything here are either of it. Nothing fits my frame/style (This store is much more geared towards women than juniors, and business/cocktail attire than anything casual), and that the price point is high above competitors I shop at. Overall, I do not think I am their target market, but I am shocked that people come in and spend what they do for items you can get cheaper elsewhere. Probably just a matter of opinion, but I do not frequent this store often for that reason. I do know a lot of friends who get great deals with within the shoe clearance area -- this seems to be what they're known for! I looked around, and did see some decent deals, but nothing that I needed. Overall, I would come back here to shop at the shoe clearance, but probably nothing else.
