One of my favorite Walmarts to go to always stocked and the employees are ready to help

Will not answer phones. Manager, customer service, tire center, etc. could not be reached. Called different times on different days during business hours and received NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! This relates to a visit on December 12, 2025. My first issue is the lack of help at the registers resulting in long and unnecessary wait times. Two registers were open plus the self-service. All had long lines. The second complaint deals with the cashier at my register. She was chatty with customers she seemed to know, and then she proceeded to answer her phone and begin texting while we waited. I made a comment and she rudely answered, "I'm dealing with a customer." I don't understand why management would send phone calls to the register during busy times or even why they would allow cashiers to have cell phones at the register. She was rude to me during the entire check-out. To make matters worse, today I opened a dozen eggs and three were cracked. Yes, I blame her as they were not cracked when I bought them. My final complaint is I have called the store on several occasions to complain. The first time they answered but when directed I said register, the phone went dead. Other times they did not answer. Out of professionalism, I'm not going to describe the cashier publicly, but I would do so if someone would answer the phone. I go to Wal Mart to save money and no other reason, but after this experience, Publix is looking pretty good. read more

We had a tire go flat and walked into the tire center looking for help first thing in the morning. We were helped by a gentleman who was really nice and had positive energy. He went out of his way to help us get the right tire and knew the products very well. We have rarely had such great service at a tire center. It was a breath of fresh air. Thanks so much. read more

I'm trying to find out what time Customer Service hours are. IT'S not posted. I CALLED the number for Super Center GrandView Dr. Simpsonville SC and let it ring and ring. NO ONE WOULD ANSWER. Typical big store attitude. Sell China crap and don't want you returning it. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Placed an online order for pickup and no one ever came out with my order. Called 9+ times and selected every single extension to be able to to talk to someone. No answer, even HR. Went to customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. To call another number to get a refund..? Ridiculous. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Poor management. Not customer friendly. Stocking not done on off shifts, block lanes during busiest times. Restrooms worse than the worst truck stop bathrooms. Door latches do not work. Air vents covered in dust. Floors filthy. Elderly staff running registers and complaining about hours they have to work. read more

I was assaulted at Walmart and the store didn't care. I had a gift card that would not work on my online pick up order so I needed to go in. I was in one of the aisles when a middle-aged man approached me saying that there was a bug on my back. I won't go into details but he assaulted me. Fortunately a woman shopper came into the aisle and he ran away. I made my way to the front of the store asking if there was a security person I could talk with because I had been assaulted. I was told that they do usually have a security person, but she didn't think he was in yet. She advised me to go to customer service, which I did. I asked customer service if they was security I could talk to because I had been assaulted. She replied that she didn't think there was someone there. I was visibly upset. I asked to speak to the manager. I told her I needed to report an incident. She looked at the other clerk and decided to call for a manger. She called over the loudspeaker for a manager. It took two calls and more than 10 minutes after calling for a manager for anyone to come and talk to me. I explained the situation and as I was doing so the woman who had been with me in the aisle approached saying that she had hoped I would come up front to report this. We both gave a description as best we could. The woman asked the manager if there were not security cameras in the store on all aisles. He said yes and that they would certainly review them. He asked if these were older teen boys because there have been teen boys coming into the store and doing these types of pranks for TikTok videos. I was now hurt, upset, and angry. I replied, "NO- did you not hear me? This was a 6 foot one, 200 pound grown man." I also stated, "So you know these kind of things are happening in your store and you don't have a security of any kind here? And it took far too long for someone to actually respond to me." He did not reply. With the limited description we could provide he said he was going to check the store. The other woman and I knew that by now he was long gone. I don't know if this man would have continued with this assault or was he trying to simply get me out of the way to steal my purse? I don't have the answers to these things. I know I would not ever feel safe walking into Walmart by myself again. This manager never asked for my name or contact information nor the name of the witness. And he did not take any kind of written report he just took off looking for the guy as he said. And yes, this certainly could have happened somewhere else, but other stores that I am in have personnel and managers readily available. No one did anything. I was left to walk out of the store without even the offer of a manager to walk me to my safe for safety. My daughter and I returned and asked to speak to the General Manager. We were told he wasn't here. A female manger was called and heard my story. She asked if it was an employee that had hit me. When I said no, she said, "well we can't do anything. You have to call the police." We did call and an officer came to take a report. The manager said that they do not file any kind of incident report because this was a criminal act. They would only file paperwork if it was an employee. This is wrong. Walmart has not idea how many assaults or events take place in their stores. The police officer told me that they always have a car patrol near Walmarts because of the number of events that they have to respond to. I will never shop in a Walmart again. Women, I recommend you do NOT shop in Walmart alone. read more

This place looked like a dump. Not a single part of the store had been faced. They were out of things that other stores had I have never been in a Walmart that was so bad. It wasn't one section, it was the whole store. This management needs to be replaced. read more

The vision center needs to retrain the staff when it comes to the customers. Learn how to communicate and be nice it's not that hard. Especially the part where you do the ordering for your glasses or contacts....You would think it's all together one store but actually they are 2 separate stores. I had a associate hang up the phone on me when I was asking her questions about where is my contacts. I was telling her abt my exam and etc.. She tells me that they were sent to my home, but I'm telling her that they wasn't. The office for the exam Is literally 6ft away from where to order your contacts or glasses. Literally right beside each other but they don't communicate with each other. How do I know cause I asked. I had my eye exam last month and I still have no contacts.. She also mentioned Walmart is over them now but this has nothing to do with my contacts read more

First off, I do not like leaving reviews unless one is warranted. A lot of my bad experiences are because Walmart will not even match their app prices (yes, even sold and shipped by Wal-Mart) . For instance, you can find an item in store for $17 but scan it and in the app it's $10. They will not match the price in store, but you can go out to the parking lot and order for curbside pickup to save the money.. now, for a single item wait 4 hours to get a delayed message. You get the point, this happens often. Could get items shipped quicker. Some items you can purchase 4 year protection plans online, but in store, they will not offer or allow any protection plans to be purchased. That has also driven me to order a readily available item for curbside pickup, only to wait for them to say it is cancelled and not available or have to wait 2 days for it to be ready. Ridiculous. Many times, items will be plentiful on shelves and they cancel the order and mark as not available. Price match policy is basically non existent, so just get rid of it or educate your employees. The online and in store inventory is always off. Out of stock or in stock but opposite on the app or in store. This particular store likes to close their returns department early without notice. (2 and 3 pm sometimes), and one of the managers just stands there, (" Come on, lead your team by example and set the standard for the work ethics you expect"). Workers are just lazily roaming around ( I know, understaffed stores have people taking advantage ). There are the few stellar workers/greeters that do go above and beyond though, and my respect goes out to them and their work ethic having to deal with their team members. This store is always a mess. Other chains put them to shame. Only 2 registers open all day. Simpsonville used to have the best Wal-Mart, but it's now my last resort. Oh, and I think everyone knows not to use the bathroom here unless you are going to soil yourself.. I really do like to see businesses do well, but someone really needs to restructure the entire organization (Online, app, In store). I hope someone higher up can fix things so that customers can start to have consistently good experiences. They could double their profits. Unfortunately, the customer experience here has been consistently bad. I hate it for the people that work here that are stellar employees, makes them even more extraordinary though. Nice Walmart, but gave it 1 star for the ladies restroom. Nothing lady like about it. Absolutely Disgusting!!!!! Trash, and toilet paper everywhere, all over floor. Most of the locks were broken off, urine and poop on toilet seats. Most toilets were backed up. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months!!!!! Just NASTY!!!!!! read more

I don't understand how anyone thinks that Walmart has cheap groceries, because I've noticed that some of the prices are higher than the other area grocery stores. More than 1/2 the products scan higher than the shelf price. Don't even think of asking an employee for help, because it will never happen. Personal pet peeve...only 2, sometimes 3 working handicap carts. The store is huge and trying to navigate without a motorized cart is torture. This is not a handicap friendly store. read more

It's a Walmart people. With that being said, I've lived here for a year, 6 months of that I was pregnant, so I used these bathrooms a lot. The bathrooms at the front of the store are atrocious! Multiple locks missing, looks like it hasn't been cleaned-ever, no soap, barely any toilet tissue, toilets are disgusting (clogged, feces and urine all over the seat, etc). And this is consistent for months people. read more

The service at night is absolutely horrible! Especially from the management. Sarah was the worst!

My mom went to have her oil changed and grab a few items. She has some back pain and is getting on in age. They couldn't figure out how to ring her up. They made her walk between automotive and sporting goods at least SIX times with a HEAVY CART over an hour telling her they didn't know how to ring it up. She was there for HOURS and finally a lady said come here I'll ring you up with this barcode here and YOU can figure this out later! To her manager and my mom paid and was able to leave and but by that time she was almost late picking her granddaughter up from school and her back was killing her. She's suffering from a "quick" trip to Walmart! Thank GOD for that lady or things would have been much worse. Older people can't handle that kind of thing! read more

This is basically where all the idiots go to shop. First off, I can't even get inside before someone shows their lack of education, it seems like no one understands the directional arrows in the parking lot. Inside, the store is just a big mess, almost like no one has cleaned in months, with that being said, don't expect anything to be stocked. I'd rather sit in the rush hour traffic on Fairview Road to go to target. Huge waste of time and effort if you go to this Walmart. read more

The worst shopping experience I've ever had. I'll grant them that it is Christmas time, which means shopping is generally terrible, but this was by far the worst I've ever had to deal with. The entire store looked like a disaster zone, there were stocking cats everywhere to the point that you couldn't get your cart to where you needed to go. The employees themselves were just standing in the aisles talking and ignoring all the customers and standing in the way, and if they did acknowledge you it was in the rudest manner possible. This store deserves negative stars the only thing keeping this place together and worth anything is the manager. There's one male manager that is just awesome everyone else miss leads misinformation and a whole bunch of other stuff. I made the mistake of recently getting a credit card from them and ordering something online for pick up I was given three different times and each time I came into the store nothing was ready or even in their System yet. Customer service desk had me standing there for over 45 minutes while they tried to figure out the headset I bought 2 days ago and was the same on on the receipt. No one seemed to know what they were doing and they sacrificed my time because of it. Don't go to this Walmart to return your items. read more

Extremely friendly staff!! Adequate selection. I got my oil changed and it took just over TWO HOURS! I was told that it wouldn't take very long. Not impressed with the store it is never enjoyable to shop there staff (except one) never acts like they want to help you and not happy with them shredding the confederate flag pictures in the photo department, that is just wrong. I give it only two stars and the only reason I do that is because last night the customer service lady Brittany was beyond nice she talked to me like I had know her forever I appreciate that. Night time Customer service severely lacking. Lines backed up and only 3 registers open, no self checkout open. No one greets or asks if you need assistance and when you ask a question, they seem annoyed. Aisles blocked and no effort to clear a path for you to continue shopping in that particular aisle. Displays usually disheveled and employees laughing and joking with their phones out while strolling or gaggling in the way. Very unprofessional. I'd rather shop at the neighborhood market down the way. read more
