I'd normally give this Walmart three stars, but I'm bumping them up to four because of Walmart associate Macy. I accidentally left my wallet in my car. I rang myself up at one of the self-checkout kiosks. I didn't realize I forgot my wallet until it was time to pay. Macy was one of two associates assigned to the self-checkout area. She offered to stand at my kiosk and hold it for me while I went to my car to grab my wallet. That was really nice of her. She was also very polite. Thank you, Macy! When you've been to one Walmart Supercenter, you've pretty much been to them all. This is store #3389, one of three Walmarts in Snellville. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too bad. It was busy, but not slammed. I picked up a few grocery items and some toilet paper. The bananas were the cheapest I'd seen them: $0.39/lb. I think Walmart's produce quality is generally good. I got bananas, Halos (a 5-lb bag for $3.98), and organic spinach & spring mix (1 lb for $4.66). I like their boxed greens and have been regularly eating them for years. I also picked up a 7.12-oz bottle of McCormick ground cinnamon ($5.78) and a 9-pack of Charmin Ultra Soft ($10.47). Good prices. My receipt was thoroughly checked at the exit. If I was in the area and needed groceries, household goods, or other stuff, I'd return. read more

I frequent this Walmart a lot. It's convenient never an issue with parking at all even during the holidays. When I entered I can always grab a buggy. I'm here often so I usually don't need assistance but I have had sales associates ask me if I found everything ok that's nice. Everything is always fresh thank goodness and the store is pretty clean. I wish they would bring back rolling back prices but overall this is my go to Walmart. read more

As a regular shopper, I was disappointed by the language I overheard from an employee while shopping. She was having a conversation with another employee near the bicycle section and was using excessive profanity loud enough for customers to hear. The conversation was inappropriate for a workplace setting and reflected poorly on the store. Employees should be mindful that customers are present and conduct personal conversations privately and professionally. It also made me wonder where the supervisors were at the time, as this behavior should have been addressed. I expect a more professional atmosphere when shopping in your store. read more

Not so friendly Walmart anymore! The associates run and hide from answering questions. I actually have a video of a manager discriminating me with an electronic item. I went to the store today to pick up some food for my pets and one of the associates that works with the manager that was discriminating against me started ducking and hiding in the electronic section of the store at around 6:08am. I had to go home and cry about it because why am I being discriminated at this Walmart if I've never robbed , stole, fought nothing just buy. I cannot wait until a big lawsuit happens for me to join with my video proof because I'm soooo over department stores that take your money but treat you like crap like this Walmart. The discrimination incident was me buying an electronic product returning it the next day because my wi fi was still slow after install. The manager at Walmart and the associates were telling me the serial number on my returned product was wrong and didn't match the receipt. So I told them if they've had me open the box to check before buying then I could better explain however it's on Walmart to check what they are selling not the customer. I told the manager to call the cops for us to investigate who change the item serial number. That lady gave me hell for $80! I did return it back after being stubborn and walking to someone else for help. Some deep investigations need to be done within this Walmart and the persons running it. And I say this because if my product was changed by a Walmart associates I cannot imagine what the associates are back there stealing and doing to then throw it at a customer which is where discrimination comes in. I always had empathy for them being replaced by robots but now I see why. Laziness doesn't help any business. read more

I usually don't have any issues because I come in, get what I need, and bounce. But on this day, what I needed was behind locked glass. I called customer service three times, waited in the aisle 30 minutes, and no one came. Finally I tracked down an employee that was kind and willing to go and get the key to unlock the case so I can get the vacuum. read more

Pharmacy is not professional. They told me it would take a half hour to approve my prescription at UHC. I said call me when ready. Two days later no one had called still. I arrived to find it had been ready a while. When I showed a Good RX card for discount, the clerk simply said It was already submitted to my insurance. He did not allow the card to be used. I paid full price. I found out when I looked at my health claims shortly after that insurance covered NONE of the charge. Go figure why Walmart didn't call with that info (or tell me when it was ready for pickup) or accept the discount Good RX card. I won't fill my prescriptions there again. read more

They have remodeled the store since my last visit but the result was still the same. No lemon juice. Guess I will still have to visit another store. Ran in to get a couple of items hoping it would not be crowded:). Luck was on my side - it wasn't crowded actually it was surprisingly slow. The aisles were empty as far as customers. It was a steady flow but nothing like during the day. The store was clean and shelves were fully stocked. I used self checkout and all registers were full. Totally disappointed in the wait time at the pickup counter. Nobody at the counter, but there is a button to press. Pressed it. Pressed it again.... nothing. Meanwhile, multiple employees come through the area, never saying a word or making eye contact, not so much as a grunt, let alone a "have you been helped?" Or "I'll get someone". I called the store phone and told the manager there was a line at Pickup but no one behind the counter. Finally a nice young lady came to the rescue. One pleasant customer-oriented person in the whole store. Maybe working at Wal-Mart sucks, but I bet not having a job sucks more. read more

Always the WORST. Always. The last straw for me with this Centerville store was the money transfer. The money transfer forms allows you to state your first, middle, and last name. When I went in to pick up a transfer I presented my DL with my first, middle, and last name on it. Since the sender used my middle and last name I could not pick it up. The ppl in the yellow vests recited a policy they couldn't put their hands on. It's not stated via sign, the submission form, no where. Then they go on to mention something about the federal trade commission, but still cannot articulate why if your middle name is on a gov issued ID why you cannot pick up your $ If the middle name cannot be used on the transfer, why have a form that allows the option of stating a middle name? Update the submission form: FIRST NAME, LAST NAME. In addition to this, they should have ample cashiers and sales staff on the floor; ample help and the customer service counters; staff available around locked cabinets; real manager who respond to requests for managers; and a policy against staff "pointing" across the floor. They should walk you to the merchandise you are seeking. Always the WORST. Always. read more

Like every Walmart Supercenter this pace has ANYTHING you can think of. Need some duct tape? Got it. Need some deodorant? Got that too. Need some new tires? Check in the back cause they got that too. One stop shop for everything you need. Now inventory isn't why they are getting a 3 for me. The biggest thing I can't stand is the lack of registers open at all times. I feel like I spend nearly 20 minutes in line every time I come here. I understand it can get busy but when there is 2/15 registers open there's no way to avoid those lines. read more

This used to be one of my favorites locations to go to. It seems that the only way I can have a positive experience with this spot is to do a grocery pickup. The last 2 times that I physically stepped inside I couldn't check out without waiting forever and a day if I had the time to. I don't understand how you don't have enough people to cover your front end. Or better yet instead of having employees standing in front of the store talking to each other have them look over the self check-out lanes so people can check themselves out. read more

With a Publix and Kroger within a mile of this Walmart, I do everything in my power to avoid it. I'll pay extra at those other two stores just to avoid this Walmart. It is always dirty, disorganized and feels damp, dark, and like the creepy part of the basement at my parents' old house. The service is, well, I like to refer to it as "Customer No-Service." The employees are rude, plain and simple, and will go out of their way to ignore you. They do not bag items properly (yes, please put my chicken with my cleaning supplies). Visited this location and was very pleased with the service. I initially needed groceries, however, I noticed that there were several candles that were on clearance. Upon deciding which candle I wanted, I noticed that several candles did not have prices on it. I asked a sales associate to help me and boy was I surprised! Ms. Lynn, the sales associate, was extremely helpful and did not want me to do anything! It is important to recognize good customer service and let it be known. Typically, many are quick to file a complaint. But, we must also be quick to give a compliment. Thank you Ms. Lynn for your great service! The only downside during my visit was the fact that there was not an open register on the far side of the store where we parked (near the plant and tire area). So, we had to walk across the store to buy groceries and then back. Although I needed the exercise (lol) it was inconvenient and this particular Walmart is pretty big! read more

I will not be returning to wal-mart. I am disappointed in the way they treat their customers. There is no assistance, no cashiers. People spending money and having to check themselves out and bag your own purchase. NOT EVERYONE can USE self checkout without issues, no fault of theirs, they no longer have a choice! I personally waited in line for 20 minutes at a standstill while the register tape issue caused the delay of the customer 2 carts ahead.. 4 behind me.. no person running a register.. all self check.. quite a few other red light issues.. 13 people in line at customer service.. one person behind the counter.. never happier to have left.. will not be returning....ever. read more

SAFE, PEACEFUL, ABLE TO SHOP WITH NO PROBLEMS. Just came from this Walmart. Normally I go at night when it's peaceful, loading the shelves, cleaning, etc. Which assures me they're keeping up the store. (I don't know what those other reviews were talking about... *Daytime shoppers* LOL) It gets overwhelming in the evenings, Sundays after church til 8pm. PACKED. Not that many workers when needed of cashiers on lines. (Management or Owners issues) but the workers help you out unlike other Walmarts i've been too. This by far my favorite Walmart. This review is for the Grocery pickup/delivery service. I tried this for the first time due to being sick and just not able and willing to spend time at Walmart which I already have issues with this store. Ordering online was easy and convenient. I placed my order, reserved my time and waiting for the email to tell me my order was ready. My pickup time was for 7pm. By 6:30 I still had no email. I called and no one answered. Left a message and no one returned my call. I searched for another phone number a 1-800 #. They had to place a call to the store to find out if my order had even been processed. After going through all this I was able to pickup my order at 7pm. At around 8pm I got an email that my order was ready, uhh a little late there guys. Everything was packed ok but the cucumbers I had ordered had mold and slime on them. I prefer my cucumbers to be hairless. Im odd that way. So needless to say, I will now have to make a special trip back to Walmart to return them and get a refund. So much for the convenience! You would think someone would have checked the produce before it went out. Note to Walmart: Cucumbers do not have hair! read more

I've used this Walmart grocery pick up service since it started. I have always been happy. There have been one or two hiccups, but usually it was smooth. Once the quarantine started and people began to lose their minds I understood when the site should shortages. I tried to understand when there were NO pick up time slots available - not for the entire week. TWO days ago, on Sunday, I placed an order. There were some shortages, fine, and the pick up slot was for Tuesday afternoon. Okay, reasonable. Tuesday morning my email contains a notice that the order was cancelled. Yes, just.. cancelled. Not moved out, not, can you reschedule, or there are more shortages - but full stop, cancelled. I contacted customer service and all they could do was apologize - not helpful - and say that I could place the order again and maybe - yes, MAYBE it would go through!! MAYBE, but no guarantees he said. So you know what, Walmart, you can save money on your heartfelt, tearjerk covid commercials saying you miss us and are here for us. You are one big ol' corporate money grab and always have been. I'm not surprised, disappointed and mad, but not one bit surprised. read more

This review is based solely on the Grocery pickup service. I LOVE IT. I pretty much hate Walmart and had avoided it like the plague. But now with this new service I am singing a new tune. Absolutely smitten! Go online, put all the things you want in your cart, check out and pay online and set the time for your pick up. Jennifer called me 15 min before my pickup time and we confirmed the time I would arrive. When I arrived, I drove to the designated spot and out came all of my groceries. Jennifer helped me put them all in the car. I felt so accomplished! By 9:30am I'd completed a 5k run and gone grocery shopping. YAY! read more

This is a walmart I found due to a "hmmm, wonder what's down this street" trip. As I walked in to the store I was met with a great smell of Parmesan cheese, garlic and fresh baked bread. Calling the deli a "deli" is a bit of an insult with the market of goodness here. Additionally, there's a full subway installed and well, then there's the rest of Walmart, that you either love or hate. Yeah, I went into Walmart to cash a payroll check. (I have direct deposit, but the first check is always paper) ANyway I had a payroll check, and Walmart refused to cash it- after I waited in life for 30 minutes for their ONE EMPLOYEE. My check was "declined". WTF? This isnt credit? It's a legit company and was drawn on Bank of AMerica - When it was "declined". I said "No problem, my employer is open 24 hours, so I'm sure you can verify." No, they don't have a verification system, just a dumbass manning the register. i can't wait until all stores are self checkout because these employees arent even earning their minimum wage. I love this Walmart, it's usually clean the produce section has gotten much better. It used to have lots of fruit flies but not any more. I love the discounted bakery items and they just started putting discounted clothes in things right in front by the registers, so you don't have to dig in each section for clearance items any more. read more
