Confetti Crunch: Birthday cake flavored desserts can really take the cake, or they can leave me crying (like it's my party and I'll cry if I want to). Opening the box let out a sugary and cakey aroma. The pieces of cereal are squares and resemble Cinnamon Toast Crunch (or more accurately Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch). Each square has red, white, and blue sugar crystals. I suspect this is a nod to the 4th of July and America's "Birthday" as the cereal was released around that time. Appearance wise, my only real complaint is the squares have a somewhat anemic appearance as if they're too light in color. As far as taste, again think Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, bit with just a hint of cake flavor. I just was fresh off a great lunch in the area and I had some shopping to do so I jumped on yelp and this Walmart was close so I stopped over. It looks like a Walmart from the outside but inside was a smaller dumpy Walmart like the ones that got closed for the Super Stores. As I walked around I noticed the floors look like the paint was worn off. The store had everything I needed and served my needs, I needed some food and general merchandise. The frozen coolers had about half with no lighting from the freezer and only the store lights to see in. Milk was probably the cheapest I have seen for a gallon of skim $1.49. The fresh meat section was super small compared to a super store but I did get what I came for. The liquor department has a decent selection of cold beer, wine etc to satisfy the average person. The fresh produce was smaller also as all the departments for the most part. Overall I left with with what I needed but this would not be a store that I would go to because it's not the nice shiny big super store that I'm used to. read more

Rude people ever. I asked one lady how to get to the video game department.She just ignored me. What's her problem? Can't help me bad place.

I was verbally attacked by employee by the name of Tess. Asked where they keep the firestick and her reply was "Do I f***ing look like I am punched in for work." When I told her there would be absolutely no way to know if she was punched in her reply "I'm not f***ing help you I need to go punch in." Then she waved her name tag at me because I said I was going to speak with her manager as she shouted "Go a head like I give a f***." I then proceeded to talk with the store manager who seemed no more interested in helping me then her actually employee. Although she did stop to listen unlike the other person. This is a continuous theme at this Walmart. The employees are rude and unwilling to help when asked. If you ask where something is they shrug and say they don't know instead of taking the time to actually help the customer. This location has horrible customer service as well as all other locations. read more

Waiting for over 45 minutes in the drive in package pick up area. The lot is reasonable full and only one person working it. There doesn't seem to be any type of system for delivering the packages. Very poorly staffed! Soon it will be nearly an hour! read more

It's a Walmart... However this Walmart has a full alcohol section! No not just cheap beer and brown paper bag wines... a real alcohol section. Having lived in the south for over 20 years now I forgot that there are places a lot less strict about where you can buy alcohol. They had whisky, tequila, vodka, rum, etc! I was stopping to buy some wine for my daughters wedding and was able to also pickup some Rye and not have to go find a liquor store too. EXCELLENT! I'm disappointed in the store. The majority of the staff have no respect for customers. As there are 10 employees standing at the front. They will sit and talk as elderly age disabled people are struggling with self check out. On Dec 23, I was accused of stealing a pack of cigs and items in my cart. Mind you, there were no bags for my items. As the CSR & another employee proceeded to laugh that I was upset that they blocked me. Ave wanted to refund my things. At this point, the manager comes doesn't even ask for my receipt and hands me a gift card. Well, today, I ordered $100 in groceries @ 1pm to be diverted at 4. Then was pushed to 6. Then it said 2 hrs delayed or I could pick up. So I click on pick up. Says 11 am tomorrow. So I call the store she says the earliest is Thursday. I'm thinking you took my money but didn't give me my groceries that's not how this works. Now that's theft. They are not handicap friendly but will let anyone with a dog with a red vest in. But not care for those with Walkers, oxygen, wheelchair. The last person I spoke with said they had to block out times due to no drivers. Well then why didn't you block out all the time slots instead of taking people's order and money knowing you didn't have drivers. Walmart Supercenter - It's about to rain, heading into Walmart - Grocery Near Me - South Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This wasn't the most impressive Wal-Mart that I've ever set foot into; however, it wasn't the worst. I was able to get all of the groceries I needed at decent prices, which is a plus. Their cat food selection is also impressive. It's nice to know that Carmello will eat well, even if other departments are lacking... ...and in saying that, I'm speaking about the wine. I never enter a Wal-Mart expecting a vast inventory of alcoholic beverages. After all, in my home state of New York, you can't buy wine or liquor in Wal-Mart - only beer. Therefore, my standards are what I consider to be realistic. However, my level of disappointment stooped below the average at this store. I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart in general wants to discourage people from enjoying adult beverages, but this was just sad. There wasn't a single New Zealand white, and those are hot 'n happenin' right now. My selection was limited to California and, from what I could gather by the obscure labels, low-low-end (even for Wal-Mart) South American and Italian whites. I settled for vodka. On a positive note, everything else at this Wal-Mart checked out - sort-of. Until we got to Subway. I treated my friend and her kids to dinner, because I owed it to them - at the least, therefore, I wanted them to be able to get what they wanted. The Subway restaurant within the Wal-Mart was out of: meatballs, turkey, Buffalo chicken, green peppers, and a key ingredient for the Reuben sub (which one slips my mind at the moment; I apologize). I'm fairly confident that there were other missing ingredients that I'm failing to remember at the moment. I have the sneaking suspicion that Wal-Mart will claim no responsibility for Subway being out of so many things, as they're technically a separate business. While I'm not angry over this, I do think a restaurant in such a high-traffic store should be better prepared. On a Monday afternoon at 2 PM, minus a catastrophe of some sort, there's no reason for half of Subway's ingredients to be out. read more

You have to know what time of day to hit this store without waiting in an endless line. Today I happened to be lucky enough to go through the self service without a wait. I agree that the parking is shallow and you usually end up parking at the outer regions of the lot. People watching is always fun as in every Walmart. Grocery is Ok. The layout is a bit weird. The ready to serve is on one side and the meat on the other. Fruits and veggies are in the beginning and the dairy is around the back. Frozen is in the first aisle while it should be at the end of your shopping as not to melt. Shelves are stocked to the brim as per Walmart policy. Prices incredibly low as their logo states. We did spend $25.00 today on things we really don't need like a industrial sized jar of pickles for under $3.00. The store is clean but looks cluttered. This store is a step up from the other Milwaukee locations though. It is 15 minute ride though for us and we don't come all the time. Some groceries are higher that Woodman's and others low. The best Walmart I've been to in Wisconsin. Although Walmart across the country have a bad reputation, this store breaks passed those stereotypes with their fresh produce, good selection of clothes, and staff always there to help. The wait time on checking out is my only concern with this location. I'm very grateful they have an employee at the self checkout lanes at all times so you don't have to wait around when they malfunction. I hate this place..... I have almost eliminated Walmart from my life, but they have a few things (like shipping supplies) that I can get here for cheap. Otherwise, I never go except when my wife drags me after we see the In-Laws. My wife has a sister-in-law from Oklahoma who has a daughter the same age as ours. My wife always notices something cute she's wearing or a toy she has, and every time she asks where she got it from, that Southern drawl comes out as she says "I got it from Walmart!" Those words to me are like stepping on a rusty nail. I know I'm going to be making a trip I don't want to make. I'm not saying that I'm better than "Big Box" shopping, I actually enjoy shopping at Target and other Big Boxes. But beyond people's opinion of Walmart, which ranges anywhere from evil corporation to "People of Walmart" memes, I hate Walmart for what it has become in the last decade- a jumbled, overcrowded and inconvenient excuse of a store. This store is a prime example of the problems I have with Walmart. My wife wanted Disney T-Shirts and socks for my daughter. This should be simple. We got to the infants/toddlers clothing area, and honestly, I've seen better organized garage sales. Only one area of girls Garanimals T-Shirts, otherwise we seen girls and boys clothes mixed on racks , along with racks full of random PJ's, shirts and more formal fare like dresses. It made no sense, I had a hard time steering my cart through the aisles and we found no Disney T-Shirts even though my sister-in-law got some here not even a week back. Speaking of "People of Walmart", I walked past a woman in her mid-30's and she reeked of mothballs. How does this happen!?! My wife wanted to see if they had a bottle of her preferred perfume, so we searched the health and beauty area and we had some trouble finding it. I asked a kid stocking the shelves and he told me it was in the "second aisle of cosmetics" I searched the second aisle, wasn't there. So I tried the first aisle. Not their either. I then tried the third, and there was a very small disorganized display. Whatever happened to walking the customer to the product? Cashier was slow and had trouble checking everything out. A shirt we bought had no price tag and this took about ten minutes to check out even though I told her it was $7.88 to begin with. It would have been quicker if I walked back to grab one with a price tag, yet she tried punching off numbers by the tag of the shirt (which were screen printed on and scratching off), then had me try and read off the numbers, then she sat and thought about it for a minute, and then asked how much it was, even though from the get go I was telling her it was $7.88. Even if you didn't believe me, why can't you call a manager or another employee to run and check the price? I would think things would run smoother if you did. I have been a loyal Walmart customer, even when the rest of my family was not. Some of my latest visits has been less than satisfactory, and their excuse was the remodel. So apparently it was more important to remodel than to provide kitty liter and cat food to their customers. But today was the last day I step foot into a Walmart ever! I was out for my daily walk and Walmart was a destination on the way home to pick up some alcohol. I am 57 y/o, I forgot my driver's license bc I was walking. And they said absolutely not. It is sooooo apparent that I am not 21. Sometimes your business has to take one for the team in order to keep people coming back. I have depended.on Walmart for many of my daily necessities, I'll just have to find a new way. Because I swear I will never give them another penny, EVER! My second comment about this Walmart in South Milwaukee. Now that I have been shopping at this location I haven't changed my original thoughts. This store is by far the nicest Walmart I have been in but the staff.is friendly and polite. Special complement to the Pharmacy and Electronics folks. They make eye contact, smile and do not view me as the enemy. Sounds harsh but that's what I feel. The Pharmacists here give customers kind and pro active treatment, as do the technicians. I would give this Walmart a better review but they never have more than 2 check out lanes open. There are numerous employees just walking around looking for something to do. I usually run in here for a few quick items and spend more time checking out. The self check out are even backed up due to people with more than 12 items using them. read more

As a Cudahy, Wisconsin resident, I have been shopping at this Walmart since it opened. It is not a superstore so the outdoor stuff like planters & solar lighting is limited. I do wish they would update their store website for the pandemic hours. They are not open 24 hours. 7 am to 8 pm but one time when I was in there, after making the 8 pm closing announcement just before 7:30 pm they changed it to, "We will be closing promptly at 7:30." I save money over Pick N Save on Layton in St. Francis. I think my International Delights Mocha iced coffee is 50 cents less. They also have their Walmart brand Great Value groceries. Their store brand bakery items are not as fresh though because they are not made there like in Franklin, Wisconsin Walmart. They are trucked in from another store. This store also has a nice size "family restroom" in addition to Men's & Women's. It has a normal toilet, a smaller shorter toilet, normal height sink & shorter height sink. read more

This is a newer Walmart. I live in the area, and it's convenient and small enough to pop in for supplies or do a bigger shopping trip. They have a decent grocery section and liquor department. I'm vegan, and Walmart consistently stocks plant based specialty items. Their prices are in line with other stores in the area. read more

A Walmart is a walmart of course you're going to get the annoying customers and a kid that's screaming a few aisles down. By far this is the cleanest most organized walmart I have been to. Its pretty quiet most of the time I haven't had to deal with too many annoying customers. It's a bit smaller than most but it is a super center and it has a decent side for groceries, which makes it a one stop shop. The associates I've dealt with are usually very friendly and helpful. There are rarely any lines and when there are they open more registers. I gotta say I usually don't like going to walmart because of the usual bad experiences we all have had, but this Walmart is clean, organized, pretty quiet and they keep stuff in stock. read more

My father who is disabled and elderly was Christmas shopping in your store the other week when he asked an employee for help finding something in the store. The employee was very short and rude and walked away. She then went up to another co-worker and made fun of my father who has trouble speaking because of his Multiple Sclerosis. I am honestly at a loss for words. Making fun of an elderly disabled man on the holidays as he is shopping for his granddaughters? I stopped in at 4:30 saturday to get new blades for husbands razor . After checking case , we realized just to buy a new razor. Waiting for 20 minutes for someone to come open cabinet no one ever answered the pages. So i went to first employee in the next area and asked do you have keys for cabinet. The employee told me no .
