Wow I can honestly not Believe how low this Walmart is rated!!!!! It is by far the best Walmart I've ever shopped at. I've never had a bad experience here. A few of the reviews I read called the staff lazy which is very inaccurate! I recently had to go to a court for a speeding ticket and there were several people who were caught shoplifting at Walmart. they were all caught on different dates which showed me that the staff is really on top of things. The one thing I love the best about Walmart is they Match any price lower then there's i've use this to my advantage several times. Love this Walmart and will be back a lot more!!!!! read more

This Walmart was well stocked and had all of the items we were looking for but the lines were so long that we waited 20+ minutes to get to the cashier. During our wait we heard two different employees open up other registers but they did not try to grab anyone who was already in line and proceeded to grab people who were just walking up. read more

Lowering my review due to the auto service alone. Honestly, I'd lean towards a 1-2 for auto, but keep the grocery pick-up and other services at 4-5, leaving an average at 3. So my car battery died today. I had to have AAA jumpstart me and soon regretted not having them install my battery. I drove to work and almost had to start it again when I left. Once I was on my way home I drove straight to Wal-Mart since they were still open. They were packed when we got there and I didn't mind waiting. We explained the battery was the main thing we wanted fixed, but also could use an oil change. They said they could do it and the battery would be the quickest part. After 1 1/2 hours we checked on it and they were working on the battery and they said it was a difficult one to put in and it would take some time. After about 15-20 minutes they came out and said it was too complicated because of all the pieces they had to take apart to get to it which is fine, but I wish they knew it would be that hard two hours earlier. It couldn't have been the first Ford Escape to get serviced there. I think the mechanic was uncomfortable and it was past closing. Had I known earlier I would have taken my car to Ford right away since I ended up dropping it off there and I prefer my oil changes to be done there instead. I will try to avoid taking my car here in the future. read more

Customer Service Manager is unprofessional, I was returning an item I bought yesterday, she didn't make eye contact, didn't respond to anything I said, didn't ask how I wanted my refund, just handed me cash and walked away. When I began to ask if we were finished she turned around and said "Thanks" clearly dismissing me. That's how you end your interactions? I return things 1-2x per year, I'm not familiar with the process. read more

Great location! Always can find what i want. Complaint is parking lot is to dark at night. All these lights and none work. And there is no road signage to let you know its there until you drive back in it. Which in a way is good because it keeps a lot of the passer bys out of it. read more

I shop this store a lot and I get frustrated a lot. They seem to have a problem with inventory and are often out of the very thing that I came to buy. Yesterday I was buying beans and canned tomatoes for chili and found that there were no price tags on two rows of shelves! That's just bad management. read more

On July 6, 2018 my husband and I went to Tega Cay SC Walmart. (We live within walking distance of White Hall Commons in Charlotte, but their service and attitude leave a lot to be desired.) We were ready to check out with 2 carts of groceries about 10:10pm. The only cashier open was the self check out. If you know anything about Walmart, you know that the self check out is about the size of a postage stamp. We stepped out of line to allow others with smaller orders to move ahead, and went to find customer service. There was someone there but she couldn't be bothered to even look up when we questioned her about a cashier to check out our large order. "Customer Service" what an oxymoron that is! To put it bluntly, she was rude . She did however tell us that there was nobody to open a check stand until 11pm, and then she wasn't sure that 3rd shift even had a cashier. There were at least 20 people in line at the self check out station. I even saw a customer that had a big screen TV on a push cart having to use the self check out. I'm also not sure if anyone has noticed that Walmart prices are nowhere near as good as they used to be. The Great Value products are tasteless. From now on if I must go to Walmart my purchace will be minimal. To wrap up: 1. Terrible prices 2. Terrible service 3. Terrible employee attitudes 4. Terrible product quality 5. An obvious disinterest in planning for a late night rush on a Friday night. read more

This was the longest, most painful oil change of my life...with shockingly poor customer service, even for Walmart's remarkably low standards. The whole experience started off shaky. I was the second car there at the Tire and Lube center that morning and their lot was pretty empty. The mechanic was opening up the hood of the car in front of me, walked away, then walked back. After he walked away a few minutes later without even acknowledging my presence I walked into the garage and said "Excuse me" and without looking at me said "I'll be with you in a minute, I've got 3 things going on right now". In his defense, he did apologize for being sassy with me when he finally walked up to get my info and mileage. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and walked in to wait. And wait. Do some light shopping. And wait even longer. More than an hour later, I decided to stand at the counter to find out why a basic oil change had, at this point, taken over an hour. There were 3 gentleman behind the counter, they were speaking to each other until a young pretty girl walked up next to me. Suddenly all 3 of them walked to the counter to help her. I actually laughed out loud. I then stood by a stack of tires to wait it out and once they were done helping her, the three men bolted away doing everything in their power to avoid eye contact with me, as if I had just escaped the world most horrid leper colony. After several employees shuffled in and out, sometimes right past me as if I were invisible, I decided to see what it would actually take to be asked if I needed help. So I sat down literally full-assed on their counter next to the cash register until an older gentleman finally asked if I needed assistance. I told him I'd been there over an hour so he checked and told me they could be done in less than 10 minutes. 17 minutes later I checked out and walked out to my car. Shame on me for thinking I could save a little time and money going to Walmart for my automotive servicing. Needless to say I will avoid this place at all cost in the future. If anything, it's prompted me to learn how to do it myself. read more

Super disappointed that the oil tech didn't explain the notes he made in my ticket. Apparently my skid plate was missing a screw and the note was made in the ticket. Written in code that means something to them not to me. Needless to say my car was making an odd sound that I couldn't figure out. Pulled over walked around the car couldn't see anything. That's because it was under my car.... I go back the manager tells me point blank not his problem but he can wire it up or zip tie. Sorry Mister, it's a little late for that now, the time to be helpful was yesterday before a chunk of is ripped off. I have faithfully had my oil changed there along with my daughters for 2 years. I took my car in to get an oil change and tire rotation/balance. Great experience! This Walmart reminded me of how Walmart used to be back in the early days of the store...smiling employees who are looking to serve and help you! From the tire center to shopping, I can't even tell you how many employees looked at me to smile and ask if I needed help. It was the most pleasant Walmart experience I have ever had! The tire team was on top of things, great communicators and fast workers. The shelves in the store were well-stocked, organized and it was a clean environment. I am definitely planning to drive a little further from home to get my car serviced at this Walmart. I literally left feeling refreshed and thanking God! read more

This place is awful. I feel bad for the employees because everything is so disorganized, they don't even know what to do. I have been back there three times in a week for paint. Do not go here to get paint. There is typically one employee in the building who knows how to mix paint and it has taken over 30 minutes to find someone every time I have gone. The first time, they messed up and gave me the wrong type of pain. The second, the only can they had left exploded and they had to put in a new order to get more. The third time they wanted me to pay to replace it after I had been there for an hour for 1 gallon of paint. Everyone that I worked with was very nice and caring, the place is just such a mess it is hard for them to help, especially when they have no idea how. also, you can walk through the isles of this place for 10 minutes before you find a single employee on the floor. I have not been here for groceries, so I cannot speak to that part of the store. read more

Maybe going to Walmart I get my tires changed was my first mistake? I went to Walmart in my city for four tires last Saturday July 22, 2017. I was told it would take an hour to change my tires. So I left for 40 minutes and came back. Once I came back to the store I sat in the tire and lube section and waiting another hour and 40 minutes. I finally asked about the status of my car. I was informed my car had been done for about an hour and they tried to call my cell phone and make an announcement over the store system, neither occurred. The wait would have been fine except I was informed that they stripped two of my lug nuts and could not longer get them off and did not change ANY of my tires. I was told, "I'm sorry this happened but, we can no longer help you". The next day, I proceeded to take my lug nuts off that were "stripped and unable to come off" with a tire iron. Hopefully this post will save someone the time and sanity. Don't go to Walmart for your car needs. Not to mention I have been waiting 6 days for Someone from management to contact me back about my experience. read more

3 stars because this location is much much cleaner than the S. Tryon location. There are some items I can find here a few cents cheaper than the Charlotte location. It's a little out of the way but sometimes worth the drive. read more

I had an oil change on my car and while they did an adequate job the mechanic had grease on the soles of his shoes which left grease on my car Mat. They should either place paper floor mats down or at least try wiping their shoes before getting into a customers car. Also, I had to return to have the car maintenance display updated to show a fresh oil change was made; this should be a routine procedure done by the mechanic. read more

This Walmart is always clean and great customer service! I have to give recognition to miss Mary who works in the deli! I was making my own pimento cheese and she really helped me pick out a good cheese and it turned out great. She was super sweet and I would return just for her! read more

I am not a big fan of super stores but this Walmart is very different. It is very clean, the food is fresh, and staff is very friendly. However, check out was a bit difficult as their self check out counters were very sensitive and difficult to operate. read more

I have lived here in Fort mill since this Wal-Mart opened and have had a great experience every time I have shopped here. Sure they get busy like all retail stores do. But I've always had help, kindness and a "what can we do to make this right" approach from the staff.
