Literally some of the worst customer service and most elite behavior by employees I have ever seen. I've had a couple bad experiences at this location One time a self scan employee stopped my transaction mid scan and called a manager (Angie) over (I was in a rush) to tell me I couldn't buy an item. Recently I was shopping the after Christmas sale and wanted to purchase some items but they weren't ringing up for the 50% off. The items were in the Christmas area and was a Christmas item but they wouldn't reduce the item. The customer service cashier told me I could speak with a manager and Scott the manager came out and said he could discount one item but not all of them. I had even taken a picture and showed him that they were in the Christmas area and definitely Christmas items. I went to another Walmart and they gladly fixed the price for the items because they recognized there was an error on their part. I know Walmart doesn't pride themselves on customer service but this location you would think it's in a nice area and they would try harder but it's terrible also. I really hate shopping at Walmart. It's always crowded, parking is crazy, they don't keep items in stock, shopping carts don't roll right, I could to on... I was drawn to come to Walmart though because they seem to be the only ones that carry unique limited edition snacks. Some things I can only find at Walmart include Fruity Cereal Kit-Kats, Biscoff Ice Cream, Sour Patch Kids Ice Cream, and Sour Patch Kids Marshmallows. So while I don't enjoy shopping at Walmart, my love for limited edition specialty snacks will probably keep bringing me here. read more

Store was super clean! So initially (once again) I was not going to write a review. To be honest, I really just needed to come to a store to grab a few things very quickly and leave. I was in this area and literally just looked up the nearest Walmart to grab some groceries. However, when I got here I quickly realized this Walmart was "super" big (hence the store name lol) and super CLEAN! I just moved to this area and so far pretty much "most" of the Walmart's are crappy around here so it was a breath of fresh air to come to this store. First off, their produce section was AMAZING! They had a very big selection of fruits, vegetables, salads basically what ever you were looking for. Afterwards, I walked further towards the seafood and poultry- again super clean super organized. Since I got there towards the later end of the day, it wasn't that many people there BUT I would've also expected things to be out of place since it was the end of the night - but it wasn't! Although I didn't get a chance to visit and take a picture of all the sections (I was exhausted and didn't feel like walking around the entire store)- this is for sure a store I would come to anytime I'm in the area and need to pick up some things. Me and wifey had APPOINTMENTS! to get a tire rotation done on one vehicle and headlight restoration on the other. The appointment times were 10:00 and 11:00am. We are still here!!!!!!!!! it's 12:20 ‍ and they are still not done with even the tire rotation. I was told it will be another 2 hours for the headlight restoration (appointment was at 11:00). Oh and I forgot to mention we that we came by Saturday 4/23/22 and the automotive bays were shut down. NO ONE WANTS TO COME TO WORK!!!! According to Yelp at least, this Walmart has been remodeled. I don't see it. It's the same massive big box store as it was before when I rated it at two stars in 2012. I think it still has a very small parking lot. And the signage on SC-160 still needs some upgrading. You have to know where this place is or you won't find it. Big plus for Charlotteans? But wait... this Vino lover must tell you about the aisle that has some of the most prestigious, award winning libations and a cold side for ales and IPAs. A store well laid out so that now matter where you are, you could find a wondering spouse in the clothing section or hardware. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, an automated floor cleaning machine that drives itself, fast & friendly check out (self available too) and in light of the precautions and "new normals".... it was one way in, one way out and a dedicated professional to disinfect each cart after use. They never answer their phone no matter when you call. We tried coming to pick up our car from the auto place, It said it was open but no one was there and the door was locked and our car was left unlocked parked out in the road in front of the auto area near the door. Not in a parking spot or even locked. I have no idea what they were doing leaving our car like that in the road and not even being there when they advertised being open. Another Walmart, Another Day. My experience here was A-OK. Had the hardest time finding decent produce. I never come to South Carolina--I hear everything's cheaper. I found almost everything on my list--with a few additional items. The produce section wasn't great. Tons of empty bins --almost everything was picked over. Overall I'm satisfied with what I managed to find. Maybe it's me, this location seems bigger than most. Luckily it wasn't over crowded with shoppers. Checkout was swift and quick. Side note: the Walmart App is a great tool to have. You can check prices by scanning the barcode with your phone. I was grocery shopping today and searching for a Baby Shower Gift. Ughhhh!! Instead of doing an override which this store is completely capable of doing, we were instructed to purchase this item online then return later when an email is generated in order to get this item at the price marked online. What?! So irate right now!!! I'm here with the heavy item in my cart and u can't override this price that clearly is marked at this location, so your store can profit from this purchase. Took a long time to find an associate to wait on me. Knew exactly what I wanted and checked to make sure they had it before going to the store, walked out with nothing. Doesn't honor "roll back" pricing from online price. In-store initial price was $30 more than the initial price online. Wasted 30 minutes and assistant manager did not want to come talk to me but finally came out. Said it was "policy" not to honor the online "roll back" price. Poor policy. Why advertise if you are not going to honor the price? Lost a big sale and future sales. read more

Good prices, good value and what's even better is most people don't know that the Walmart brand or Sam's brand or member Mark is actually a high name brand just packaged in Walmarts packaging. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs. I went to this Wal Mart at 11:20 because I heard it was a 24 hour Wal Mart and I wanted to buy an iPad. Big mistake. There were literally like 2 people working in the entire store I sat in the electronics section for 10 minutes or more with no help - I just needed someone to unlock the case so I could buy an iPad. Nope. After a few minutes I started shouting at the top of my lungs for help. No help came. I then went to the front and asked to speak to the on-shift manager. When the manager came up, instead of offering to help me with my inquiry/problem, he just gave excuses. He actually said it was the law that all associates go on break at the same time, which is why nobody could help me. Bull cramp. I came here for one thing, and much like any store, I did not leave with just one thing. After grabbing what I came for I stopped in the women's clothes and saw two things I wanted to get. When I went to check out one of the items rang up almost twice what the tag said. When I asked the cashier about it at first she said it wasn't a Walmart sticker on the tag and I was just going to pay the price that came up. Probably one of the worst Walmart's I've shopped at when it comes to the grocery portion being stocked; I moved to this area back in May and since I have noticed that either they do not get shipments in a timely fashion or the employees just aren't doing their job, but I believe it may be a mixture of both. Cash registers are barely ever open and if they are the lines are a good 5+ customers deep, leaving no choice in taking your cartful to self checkout and praying to flag down an employee if you're purchasing alcohol. It seems to me maybe employees go to work to just socialize vs. actually doing they're jobs, which is such a shame seeing as the area seems to be flourishing with developments and higher priced homes, but maybe the locals shop at other places and not Walmart. read more

Went to Walmart today to purchase a few items. I am noticing that a lot of the produce is in bad condition on Sundays. This was the case with the avocados today. They were in such bad condition and the price was $1.67 EACH! I called a Walmart associate over to the produce section and asked her why is Walmart selling this type of produce to the public! She responded and said something to the effect that they were short- staffed so no one pulled them off the shelf! Oh really!! I wish I would have taken a pic. No excuse, Walmart!! Your customers deserve better. I next went to Harris Teeter, where I found a much better selection of avocados. Guess what? I paid $1.67 for FOUR avocados!! Walmart is always the one stop shop. Razors and air filters lol The two women I worked with were amazing. We had some confusion about price matching the WM website with their auto air filters and both Sandra Hamright and Queen were efficient in how they took care of us in line and kind. This is the worst Walmart I've ever shopped in. I keep going back because the prices can't be beat, and I live a mile away. They rarely have enough cashiers working, and once in a while they have none. Only self checkouts open. It's not fun to check yourself out with $300 of food and supplies. When they run out of a regular item, you won't see it again for a month or two. The few regular cashiers are awesome. They work really hard. Terrible management, though. No staff at photo center today and every person I interacted with told me they would send someone and didn't I had to interact with three different people, a pager, and two hits of the cashier assistance button. I had to to find someone myself even after hitting the cashier button twice for help (it timed out because of how long I waited so I had to hit it again). Just crazy to me it's open til 8 and nobody is here (a Saturday at that). I'm usually a very patient person and understanding but that this was crazy. One thing I can say about this place though is that it is more clean than other Walmarts I've seen in Charlotte. They just have to work on the staffing here. This isn't the first time that I've had to wait awhile for staff. When I come here the lines are super long wait unless they have self checkout open it is a shorter wait. I even had to move a row of carts that was just left by an employee in front of my car before. Staffing has to get better here and then it would be a great Walmart. It's clean and well lit. If I could give this place a -5 I would. All shoppers beware there is no sense of urgency. I placed an order for a pick up from 4-5pm. I placed the order a full almost 48 hours ago and I received a email at 4pm stating my order would be delayed. So a 4pm email for a 4-5pm pick up. Well needless to say this isn't my first bad experience as you all know I give a place three tries. So this is the fourth so I had to review. I have went from missed items to broken eggs to items that weren't even mine. This Walmart needs a serious overhaul from management down. How can you offer a service that you can't execute properly? They need to take some pointers from Harris Teeter. So after me calling the Walmart customer care line my order magically become ready. I head over to the pick up location. Guess what folks looks like half of my order is missing I ask to have eggs and bread brought to me up front. You had eggs and bread at this point not only am I quite upset but I am disappointed in Walmart. I use to run into a Walmart for a quick in and out. The time for me using a company that lacks organization and follow up are through. Why pay for a service you won't get? The whole point of grocery pick up is convenience. I will be calling the corporate office to file a formal complaint and to ask for my money back. Finally she tells me my complete order is ready just an oversight. I say thank you and head home then, why I didn't check the order ahead of time is beyond me? When I went home not one item that was on my list were my items. Walmart store 3733 #don't do it. I get home and none of the items are my order. I call the customer service line back and she asks before placing me on hold to tell me are you saying the items you have aren't your order ? why else would I be calling? Literally over a day for my order that isn't correct. How hard is it to get cereal? How can a grocery store run out of cereal? This is the most frustrating experience ever. This location is always poorly stocked. You would think that the store would have their shelves mildly full for the weekend shoppers, but no. I've had one Site-to-Store experience and that was more than enough. There were 3 people waiting, and 5 staff members floating back and forth, only one knew what they were doing. One actually had to rerun the same transaction for another customer 3 times. It was very painful. I will check out Publix or the Walmart in Lake Wylie. read more
