All the times I've been to this mall (to dine at one of the dozen options here) I had no idea there was a Costco or a "liquor shed" in the back of the complex. (Worth noting: I work Deck Neck in Newark and I'm well-versed in the lunacy of double and triple parking, among other offenses.) I think even the most seasoned Ironbound drivers would lose their cool if they came here. Eventually I had to park by the Chick-fil-A and walk to/from NB. Was it worth all the hassle and inconveniences? No. The layout is very clean (sterile) and they didn't offer any refrigeration and most of the beer selection seemed to be cans. A nice selection of wine as well as some odd/offbeat liquors and it was my first time encountering soju and that stuff is good. Real good. Real potent. The ring was purchased as a gift for my mother-in-law after she helped care for our newborn son. It never fit properly and was never worn. We brought the original receipt, original box, original certificates, and the ring itself. The employee assisting us called over Reggie, who identified himself as the Customer Service Manager. After he refused the return, I requested a higher-level review and was then assisted by Chris, who informed me he was second in command at the warehouse. During the discussion, I pulled up Costco's own return policy on Costco's website and showed both managers the section specifically addressing diamond returns and inspections for diamonds over one carat. What frustrated me most was that neither manager appeared willing to engage with the policy I was showing them. I repeatedly asked why Costco's published policy did not apply and never received a clear answer. Instead, I was simply told the return would not be accepted. The issue wasn't just the denial. It was the attitude. Both managers came across as dismissive, condescending, and completely uninterested in helping. The most disappointing moment occurred when Chris told me he would be "more than happy to buy me a hot dog" but would not process the return. I found that comment insulting and unprofessional. My mother-in-law is a Costco customer in South Korea and was excited to visit a Costco warehouse in the United States before returning home. Whether you're an Executive Member and have access at 9AM or you're coming 15 minutes before closing, this Costco is an absolute MAD HOUSE at all times of the day. If you've been to one Walmart, you've basically been to them all with stock, layout, and prices. I didn't have any interactions with employees - which is fine by me. What I did see, they were the usual lethargic, unfriendly types. The parking lot is pretty big, so you shouldn't have an issue finding a spot. This Walmart shares the land with other businesses, so something to keep in mind. If in the area again and needing a Walmart, there's plenty worse than this out there.

He was very informational, recommended nearby deals and informed us about coupons. Overall, good late night walk around. Parking lot is connected to a shopping center. When you exit, your items are scanned and connected to your Amazon account.

I guess another agreement was reached because they are now open (as of August 2024). I went on the opening day in the late afternoon and it wasn't that crowded for a grand opening. There were so many deals that day and we mostly we able to pick up everything we wanted. Prices vary - some items are super expensive, but some are cheaper than regular supermarkets and as I mentioned, you can find some good deals here ($4.99 salmon, and $1.99 ground beef, anyone?). I also used this opportunity to make a few Amazon returns. Only one person was working that register at the time but another soon came to help out as a line started forming. I'm just glad that I no longer have to trek to the Paramus Amazon Fresh location to do returns. The Lodi location has checkout carts. You log into your Amazon account and scan the items with the cart, then drop them in. At the end, you check out on the computer on the cart, go to the specified line, and an employee will just verify your purchases. It was a fun experience. They do have regular carts and regular check out lines if you do not wish to do this. Looks like the Aldi next door is going to have some competition!
