I absolutely love every person at this pharmacy. They should be the model of exceptional bedside manner and customer service for every field. I moved to Victor from Canada a few months ago, right in the middle of some tough health issues that left me in tremendous pain. Picking up prescriptions at a Walmart (!!!!) after some of the most excruciating medical testing should be an awful task; but I'm so grateful for the consistent care, compassion and warmth from every single person at this pharmacy. They've helped me through some of my worst days, even when I felt alone without my family around. Joe (Pharm D) and April (R.Ph) are the most friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and down to earth pharmacists I've ever known. Sandy is easily one of my favorite people on the planet. The empathy she showed me during one of the worst days of my life is something I'll never forget. Seth is always also so kind and warm. Everyone there has so much patience as my anxiety gets the better of me when there's insurance-talk. This team has made a huge difference in my life. (I wish I knew everyone's name so I could thank them. I'll likely update this review in the near future.) I honestly never expected to find this level of care at a Walmart pharmacy. My wife told me about her experience at this Walmart this past Friday. A little backstory of that she is 8.5 months pregnant and was with our 3-year-old daughter who loves to help scan items. My wife picked up some items we needed during midday at this particular Walmart in Victor, and when she was using the self register, she was scanning items and our daughter was trying to scan items as well as it set off the shoplifting alarm in on the register and the male attendant came over and was terribly rude and made a scene so that other shoppers stopped and watched to her even after she explained that our daughter was trying to eagerly help scan items (again she's just 3) and everything was scanned. The attendant, went through my wife's shopping bags, without permission, to make sure everything was accounted for and basically accused every other item he saw in the bag to be not scanned until my wife SHOWED HIM on the register where it was scanned. Every item one by one. Meanwhile he threatened her that "he already voided someone's order today, he's not afraid to do it again with her", then turns to our 3 year daughter and asked her if she's been naughty this year because Santa's watching her. After my wife accounted for all her items in the bags, she said he stood there to watch the remainder of the items being scanned all while trying to look and see if there was something in her stuffed in her coat because, you know, SHE'S EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT!!! SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS CARING TWINS!! How about next time, when you see a pregnant mom, struggling with a little toddler you ask to help her instead of accuse her of stealing and threatening to void her transaction and stand there and stare at her stomach to see if she stealing something under the coat. Stopped in over the holiday weekend as I was in the area, easy in and out parking, it's smaller than Henrietta. I found everything I needed easily, aisles are well marked, and organized, place was clean, staff were helpful for the one item I couldn't find. Checkout had a 1 register open with a long line, but self checkout, which I use, was moving steady so got out in just a couple minutes. Definitely going to stop back in when in the area, nice store, thanks. read more

This is a clean, well organized store. Lots of helpful and friendly employees. I truly enjoy the curbside grocery pickup. It's painless and fast. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes and there are always spaces available. Would recommend you check them out sometime! read more

The closest Walmart to us and I'm grateful. It's physically smaller than the other Walmart's in town, but that makes it easier to navigate and a bit less frantic. The parking is also not bad and I find the staff friendlier than most. The people in the front actually seem happy and greet you while you enter and leave the store. The produce section is a little skimpy, so you maybe need to get your specialty fruits and vegetable elsewhere. Otherwise one of the better Walmart's in town. read more

I wanted to commend the Victor NY Walmart on their friendly customer service and willingness to ask if I needed help, research what I was looking for, and then be checked out by a real person with a friendly attitude and a smile. Of course these workers were over 50-60 years old, so that could have something to do with it; but I have not gotten this good or friendly customer service at other Walmarts. This Walmart is suffering from a case of Walmartus interruptus... in order to get this store open, Walmart had to shrink its floor plan and agree to limited hours. Plus side: it is pretty clean. Downside: the store carries a lot less merchandise. Given the excess retail space buttressing the store, one might expect a rear-guard effort from the Arkansas behemoth to expand the footprint at some point. read more

Let me tell you, my favorite part about this store is going in to shop between like 7:30-8am! Completely shifted my schedule around to do so? Why? Because occasionally you get a show with your shopping experience. On multiple occasions I've come in at this time to witness, I'm assuming some manager, store or area by the way they're dressed, rip right into the employees practically right in the entrance of the store! First time I witnessed it I was in disbelief. I don't know how much the employees make but it's not nearly enough to be treated less than human, and right out in the open at that! You could just see the color drain from these poor guys faces as this blow hard ripped right into them, then he walks around the store with them in toe like they're stooges of some sort. I've seen him walking with upwards of 5 people before. What a power trip. Prime example of why people now a days don't want to work when you have people like this running the show! Let's not only belittle people but embarrass them in front of not only their fellow employees but the general public. I know most people find Wally World ANNOYING and I get it totally but this place is different. It's a low stress store, it's not huge, and has what you need. Granted the layout might be a bit annoying but I had no problems getting everything I wanted as they were fully stocked. Considering the neighborhood they best have everything if not than it's on them. They have a large parking lot and they are next to Home Goods and more in the area. Staff is pretty good. If you are in the area and need a quick visit to Wally World check this place out. Party on. read more

For a Walmart, this is not a bad one! Usually they are full of cranky people who want you out of their way so they can get the cheapest deal. This Walmart was nice and spacious and quite organized. Even the toy section and when I was here Christmas was coming! read more

The employees are extremely rude. In at least three occasions they got snippy. 1st time was because I had to rearrange items already scanned and bagged; employee rushed over because I looked suspicious fiddling with my items. 2nd time they had no sign up about limits on an item, I took a few items from what was in stock and another employee ( again) tidied over and practically grabbed the items. I said there was no sign about a limit and she just got snotty. Most recently, today, the self check out person had to come and authorize a purchase of super glue. My granddaughter was standing at the register and the employee quite rudely said, with a glare on her face, " I have to get up there," and rolled her eyes. I get it, you hate your jobs, but it's not customers faults. I'm never anything but polite to customer service people. None of these times was there a reason to act the way they did. I prefer Target over Walmart but this is a pretty good Walmart. It doesn't have the best selection of items as this isn't huge store as others but it does always have what I want. The reason why I like this location is since it is in Victor you don't get too many "Walmart people" there. Yes, of course there are still stereotypical people there but for the most part it a bit better and it almost always seems dead. The staff is always friendly and I never have any issues here. Customer service is pretty slow though. Overall, obviously Target my preference but this is a good alternative. read more

Terrible customer service. I was having trouble at the self checkout on Friday and the female employee decided to take out her frustrations on me and my groceries. She had to reboot the machine I was using and then dropped my stuff on the next conveyor belt as she said "You'd think a convenience store would be more convenient" and walked away. I like this Walmart, I will drive out of my way to shop there, but today was absolutely the worst!! My daughter and I wanted to try on some clothing. The handicapped dressing room is out of order, the door falls off the hinges. Not a problem, we think we can use one of the smaller ones to try on the clothing and give each other our opinions. Unfortunately, we can only take in 6 items total for both of us. At this point I said fine we will follow the RULES. My daughter is trying on the clothing she has picked out and I notice that the 2nd dressing room has a person in it who has not moved for at least 5 minutes. I keep watching and finally ask the clerk working at the dressing room to check on this person. She tells me in a nasty tone that "she is just fine". So now I know that somebody is hiding out in one of the 2 dressing rooms - an employee?? someone's child???? (it was a school holiday) and these women working in the dressing room don't care if the customers can try on clothing or not. I left my items, that I could not try one, and therefore would not buy and went to the store manager. He was very pleasant and went to check it out. More customer service training needs to be done. read more

Victor Small-Mart: Although this store is in the super convenient Eastview Mall area of Victor, it is often difficult to make a shopping destination due to its small inventory and non- customer- friendly hours. The store is the smallest Walmart I have been inside in a long time, and many of my family's staple items cannot be found inside. The store was missing my wife's favorite breakfast cereal (a very common national brand), as well missing ink for a printer that I bought at a nearby Walmart in Macedon less than a month ago. Most Walmarts are now 24 hours, yet the Victor location is only open from 7 am to 11 pm. I had stopped in 3 weeks ago (May 6 2012) to purchase a few items and had a horrible customer service incident. There was a bit of confusion in the store that somehow resulted with the employee at the customer service desk taking my wallet home with her (including my cash and my credit cards). This employee was arrested and is awaiting trial in Ontario County court. I do not wish to infer that all of the store employees operate anywhere near the level of this individual, but I have to wonder about the approach of Walmart leadership in this situation. After contacting the store and waiting 3 full weeks, I have not heard back from Walmart. I feel a bit betrayed by a brand I have been a fan of for a long time. :( read more

I and a lot of others are so disappointed in the direction that Wal-Mart Corp has taken with all of the "self-checkouts". This would be fine for 1 or 2 items - but if I want to do my shopping there - who ever comes out with only 1 or 2 items... I want the cashier / customer service person to check out my groceries and bag them for me - I am so angry that this took up this position - every time I say something to some one at this Victor Wal-Mart - they tell me that this is a Corporate decision... well I have e-mailed them over and over and I get absolutely no response. I think we need to start boycotting Wal-Mart to give up customer service... I for one will be going back to Wegmans to get all of my groceries - The caliber of service has been degraded and I just don't care to go there anymore. Sure Wegmans is cutting out plastic bags and now starting to charge for paper bags - but their customer service is still a FIVE star rating. read more

I can no longer continue to shop here. This store never has any stock, the employees are not helpful and there is always an issue when shopping there. Today I tried to purchase gift cards for nieces and nephews- after 30 minutes they told me the system was down and apparently no one in America was able to purchase a gift card. Real answer that I have experienced before- no one knows how to process the cards. I'm not a Wal- Mart hater -it is THIS store - I will go to Macedon or Canandaigua. read more

I shopped here on thanksgiving and was so impressed how organized and helpful everyone was! It made me want to stop there more!

The electric child's car that I bought itself, is fine so far but I will never buy from Walmart.com again. We bought a very expensive model to try to get a quality vehicle and bought from Walmart thinking it was a reputable name and there would be no problems! After waiting 10 days for my grand daughters birthday gift (already late) we picked it up from the store. The box was totally banged up and when we remarked about it, we were told it was packaged well and would be OK. After getting it home and unpacking it and beginning to assemble it, we found it was scratched, dented and had broken parts. We called Walmart.com for help. We could NOT understand the foreign rep and asked to speak to someone else but he just kept trying to get us to understand! So, we used the online chat feature instead. They would not replace the parts but wanted us to return the entire (huge) truck and wait for a replacement (could not tell us how long). We asked if we could try to make the repairs ourself and live with the scratches and dents and if they would give us a partial credit if we could do that, to make up for getting a damaged item. They said that would be fine. My husband and I spent the entire day assembling it and gluing and screwing broken parts together and finally got it done. When I contacted the rep again they asked how much of a credit I thought would be appropriate. I thought quite a bit more, but trying to be reasonable said " at least $50 credit would help make up for our time and aggravation and for my granddaughter getting a scratched and banged up "new...$400 car". They told me that they would only allow $25!! At that point, I had many hours into this and was quite aggravated, so I told them that I was NOT satisfied with their solution but had to go! I am so disappointed! I was trying to save both us and them time, money and hassle and that was all they offered! Do yourself a favor and purchase your items from another vendor...hopefully one who has better customer service. read more
