They allowed fake and resealed products to be sold on their store as new, then hide behind their policy of not accepting trading cards back..... that would make sense if I was receiving real product, but they don't care about protecting their customers purchases incase of scams they allow. read more

I cannot say enough negative about this Walmart. It is consistently getting worse and worse every week. If they aren't out of stock of things I order online, then my delivery order is late or they put each single item in a seperate sack and then I have a million sacks to carry inside or they simply don't sack items and just throw them in the back of my car or if my order is delivered, they just sit them on my porch, unsacked. My bread is smashed on more occasions than not as well. Today I had my grocery order delivered and all of my cold items were room temperature and the bag of chicken breasts that were supposed to be frozen were completely thawed out and barely cool to the touch. I've called the store on multiple occasions to speak with a manager because of a problem with my delivery or pick up order and no one ever answers the phone. It just rings forever. I've had it with this Walmart. They need new management and/or better training for their employees. read more

I used to work here. Toxic work environment but that's for a different time. I've called for 2 weeks now and this is my 3rd day in a row calling trying to get HR to pick up the phone and NO ONE IS ANSWERING. Not the HR line not the front desk. I'm just trying to get my W2 that YOU GUYS haven't sent out yet either to me by Email or by actual mail. What are we doing? why is this place STILL unprofessional and unorganized after I left. I worked and got let go from TARGET and they still sent me my W2 both in the mail and over email. just an unprofessional and unorganized mess ran by someone who doesn't know how to do there job. Terrible service. I went in for a pick up order that I checked in for, they said I didn't check in and so they took their time. The pick up is so weird, they make you wait by the front door like you work there. Also by time I had been waiting for 20 minutes I just decided to cancel my order. Do not recommend this place. At least not for pick up orders. Just get your groceries and check yourself out because they suck ass. Not professional at all. read more

Needs to be more courteous at the front door. I purchased a heavy shelf. After checking out on October 7th, 2023 the middle aged/young man at the door that evening was more interested in making sure I hadn't stolen it than asking if I needed help loading it in my car!! Really! I'm a senior citizen and could have used some help and there was plenty of man-woman staff available! There isn't such a thing called customer service any more! read more

12/5/22 went in to buy a gaming laptop and I wish I had got their names but they were so helpful and nice it was a young lady with glasses and a clean cut gentleman who helped me in electronics. The man took no time to get back on the floor from his break to help and the lady didn't stop till she got the laptop for me. They were amazing and so kind read more

This Walmart is not organized like some of the other stores. But on the upside... I can always find someone who wants to help. It so rare to find someone nearby to help you find what you are looking for inside Walmart. Their store is NEVER too busy. They always have plenty of registers open for help. Anytime I visit my parents I will stop by this store. The prices are good and the quality is better than other stores when it comes to produce. Also, customers are nice to one another. NO FIGHTS! Or crazy outfits. I spoke to a manager this last time and he asked me if I shop at Walmart and I said sure.... Only this one and the East Kellog by choice the others not so much. I came in to get two new tires put on my car before I moved to Colorado. I just needed two rear ones. There were 4 people behind the counter who all seemed pretty clueless. There was a young man who leveled with me and said he was just a cashier and didn't know much about cars. I respected that but the other three employees seemed complacent and lazy. It was 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon when I went in and was told the cost for the new tires and that they were just finishing up with an oil change and should take at most an hour. I went back at 2:30 (an hour and a half later) and asked for the status on the change. The lady in charge replied that they just finished the oil change an it should be about a half hour more. I was shocked. With 3 capable employees working an oil change should never take that long ever. I know because I had one done the same day and it took about 20 min with two employees at a different establishment. The prices are very high for the tires I purchased and customer service at an all time low. Just another reason I don't shop at Walmart unless I'm in a hurry and have no other options. Typically I go to the Walmart in derby for an oil change but today I was a little pressed on time and their wait was 3 hours. So I called around to different locations to see the wait time. The one in Valley center said 45 minutes to an hour.....which is a typical time if you are used to getting your oil changed at Walmart. So I get there and the check in process was long, then one of the men looked at me in a condescending tone and said well it's a 45 min to an hour wait....I said that's fine I was planning on shopping....I carried on and when I got done shopping they called my name....now in my oil change I said yes to an air filter if needed....the paperwork they handed me said that the air filter was "ok" ....which in fact I know it needs to be changed bc the last person to do my oil change at the Walmart in derby said they recommend me changing my air filter....they just couldn't do it bc they didn't have my air filter there.....so that was one thing off....and then with all of my oil changes they have always check my air pressure...which one tire was low on air and they didn't bother checking it or adding air to my tire ...then when I got home I noticed my hood was never closed .....so I drove on the highway doing 65-70 miles per hour with my hood not fully closed!!!!! So at this point I am questioning did my oil even get changed? They didn't even reset my "change oil due" ....this was the poorest service I have ever received....and if my hood would have flew up on the highway it could have killed me and my two kids!!! Careless employees ... I'll stick with Derby no matter the wait!!! If I could give you a zero I would!! read more

The is the newest and biggest Wal-mart Superstore in Wichita is the nearest one to me. Its has everything as always and you are dead tired when you leave from all the walking from one of the store to find the few items you need. What I do really hate is the fact that they have 23 checkout lanes and only use 4-6 at a time. Went yesterday and there were wer 3 people with full carts in front of me and he oldest and slowest chec ker of all times. read more

Too many interesting characters lurking about and no security. Place draws in everyone looking to hang out late. Creepy employes on second and third...No merchandise rings up right EVER, always $2-3 over marked prices as a 'service charge' or something. Rotten produce was present in store on opening weekend and most fresh stuffs won't make it past 3 days. Many times this store has nothing in stock but displays if you try to replace little appliances. Only thing on shelf is 1-2 items while displays show 10... Shop down the street earlier in day at other stores that close early & keep a supply closet at home or buy it at Quiktrip for 4 times more. We pass up the Walmart at 53rd and Meridian. Walmart in Newton is worth the drive. read more

You can't really get excited about a Walmart Supercenter, but it's awesome that this place makes everything so convenient. I get stuff shipped here from site to store with such ease. (They even assembled a grill I bought recently). I was even able to pick up items after the site to store dept closed. They do the same for me with customer service. As long as someone is nearby, they will do their best to accommodate me. I went to the Walmart off the Dugan exit the other day to return something, and they have all these new policies making it difficult. But here, I was able to make my return with no problems. Plus it's great that it's open 24hrs. read more

They always say how their prices are so low, I beg to differ. The prices were not much cheaper than Leekers, food was not very fresh. Not to mention it was HOT as all get out in that store. My cashier kept blowing his nose right before handling my produce (didn't even use hand sanitizer!). I think I will spend the extra money and go to Leekers from now on, or make the further trip to Dillons... read more

the mangers are a big joke at this store,argued about a sales price that was in there add he refused to honor it.had to drive out west to get the ps4 at the add price.the west store manger was great and just shook he head about the backwoods manger down north lol. read more

Have to agree with William L. Just left this store, the Friday before Labor Day, shoppers everywhere and only THREE lanes open. Did I mention they hire only people who can move in slow motion to run the registers? When it finally became my turn (all 3 registers overflowing with shoppers with lots of purchases) the checker stuck out her hand at me but didn't say a word. i looked at her and said "yes?", she pointed to my shopping bag, still didn't speak. I explained I'd brought it to put my office supplies into because the last time I was there they had mixed them with frozen food. She still did not say a word. Very slowly checked out groceries, managed to cough on my produce four times (didn't bother to try to cover her cough), still not a word. The debit card machine wouldn't read my card, she took it out of my hand, ran it through the machine, pointed at the keypad (cough, cough, cough directly at me). Sadly, this is one of the better checkout experiences I've had at this store. Have tried all hours of the day or night, same three registers open, same incredibly slow checkers, same complete lack of courtesy. I love the produce section, appreciate the low prices and like the look of the store overall, but I can't justify trying again after this performance. From the looks of the twenty-something front end managers, I'd say it's time to bring someone in with retail CUSTOMER SERVICE experience to run this store! read more
