So this just happened today. I was in line waiting to check out and I was waiting for the teller to ring my items up. Old lady by the last name of Gonzalez. She seemed to be looking at something but didn't even acknowledge me. Then another lady arrived next to her, of white origin, and then after the lady arrived, Ms Gonzalez, began to ring my items up. I didn't think anything of it until she told me that the 30 pack alcohol I purchased needs to stay in cart so she can ring it up; well I didn't know that since there was no sign identifying this. My youngest who is 14 was helping remove items to put back in cart not realizing she was got a hold of the alcohol; the teller immediately asked for ID from my son who was standing to the side, my daughter and myself for the beer! I looked at her and said I'm purchasing the beer not her and I took out my ID, she said she's not going to sell me the alcohol because my daughter touched the beer! The other lady, who had arrived shortly after the teller started to ring my items up, asked for ID's from two other individuals who were with us in the store but left and decided to wait for us in the car. I asked her how did she know I was with two other people. She didn't say anything! I was appalled that she was asking for identification from people who were no longer at the store! I asked if this was this new law or what? I told her the only way she knew I was with others is because we were being followed in the store! I also told her she was racially profiling us since we were being followed throughout the store. She didn't respond to any of my questions and the reason being, is because I was right! If we weren't being followed I would like to know how she knew there were two other people with us? They weren't at the cashiers when we were checking out. I've never experienced such embarrassment in our lives and to be treated as we were going to steal something is an insult! After thinking about it Ms Gonzalez was actually acting as if she was doing something but what she was actually doing is waiting for the other individual who worked there. Just a side note: I've only posted a total of 3 reviews, including this one. Taking the time to write this to let people know you may experience racial profiling so try not to attract too much attention here. I will not attend the Walmart again! read more

Management and Customer Service have forgotten about the customer. Over the past few months this location has gone downhill. I have recently tried to contact customer service via phone only to be put on hold for 21 mins then being disconnected. I tried again and after being transferred the phone just rang. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I tried again requesting to speak to a manager you guessed it no response!. We appreciate the variety of products offered and pricing but we can get the same thing from Amazon and not have to deal with people who don't want our business. read more

I went there this morning to buy flowers for my wife. I went to the self check register closest to the door. The lady there helped me because I was using a gift card I was given and wasn't sure how to pay with it. Then when I was leaving, the greeter woman yelled at me and made me walk over to show her my receipt. When she asked if I had a receipt I said yes, but she gave me this sort of dirty look. I could tell that she assumed I was stealing them. I am amazed they'd treat a customer like this over flowers. The flowers they had didn't even look fresh honestly. I'll not shop here if I can help it. It's sad because it's the closest store to my house. They really need to hire friendlier people, especially for the greeter position! read more

Their auto service is pretty terrible. The guy Anthony took about 20 minutes to get to me, I was just waiting in my car. They said they wouldn't be able to touch my car until an hour and ten minutes and then they never even called me to go get my car. It was just not good and not friendly. read more

I always do price matching. check out the other stores local weekly adds and write done their advertised price. If it's less than the price at Walmart, tell the cashier you want a price match, tell em the price from the add and you got it. often the cashier will tell you and give you the cheapest price in the area if they know of it! Walmarts will do this in any area! read more

I had order a garden wagon on Walmart.com. I chose to pick up at Walmart. On the 2nd it was showing it was delivered on the 1st at 12:15pm. So I went to Walmart. The young lady that helped me was very nice. She could not locate my item. She was going to see if she could locate it. Things happen no b8g deal after 45mins to very nice people in customer service I would just come back tomorrow (did leave # in case they could not find it) I go this morning and I get this person who must think I am stupid. After he look fory item. He said that it was delivered to fedx warehouse. I day that is not what it is saying here what it says 8/1 3:06am depart feds Phoenix 8/1 7am at local feds facility Yuma 8/17:11 on fedx vehicle for delivery Yuma 8,/1 12:15 delivered Yuma I ever showed him where the items was sighed for he still telling me that the fedx warehouse sighing for it. Well I called fedx they had delivered it but to wrong place I went in to say sorry I got short with him and that juck keep telling me I was wrong no I was right I have never had to deal with someone like him at Walmart before but I don't think I will be using them just so some junk dose not try to make me feel stupid read more

I used to price match on everything!! THEN I learned about SAVINGS CATCHER & my life changed!!! All I do so scan my WalMart receipt, the WalMart app uploads it & does the price matching for me. So far since October of last year they have refunded me almost $75.00. They even price match the Dollar Store!!! I challenge every reader to check out the link at WalMart .com. I usually and always hate going to Walmart just because A. It is always cramped B. It is so hard to find help...quickly C. The people who shop there are usually mean with sticks up their butts and this also goes for some of the cahiers, can you say dry attitude! And D. To have so many dang cash register aisle they usually only have like four or five open. However, this one I like because it is not far from my house and I can sort of pin point when a ton of people won't be there #Heaven! Another great thing about this particular Walmart is that this is the cleanest and most spaced out Walmart, at least in my opinion. I would have gave it a 5 star but Walmart is really good at having a product that you like then a couple of weeks later it is like that product never existed. In this case I checked online to see if it was in the store, it said that it was and which aisle to find it in, of course once I got to the aisle the product was nowhere to be seen. This wal-mart is my favorite when it comes to the selection in Yuma! Other stores in town, are dirty, there employese are the farthest from being friendly, and they just stink! The wal-mart in the foothills, I have yet to have any problems with, the employes are always friendly, and willing to help out with all your needs. They price match anything you want, which is a major plus. You don't need to bring the ad in, and if your over charged for something you tell them the price on the shelf, and they will fix it for you. This store was bad 2 1/2 hrs. For oil change 4 oily hand prints on front of my truck spilled oil in engine. Sploppy sloppy. Not enough help and no supervision. The guy ahead of me was 4 hrs. I got there at 10am 2nd in line. Will not return. read more

Although I'm not a fan of mega-corporations in general, Walmart is one of the few one-stop-shop places in Yuma. As they advertise, the prices are usually decent. The employees at this branch (in my experience) are particularly helpful and friendly. read more

While they have pretty good prices, they don't seem to care about seniors. I need an electric cart to shop. I looked and ask for an electric cart but the lady found one that was not in use. It was a very bumpy ride and it died before I could look for items in my shopping list. No other electric carts available so I left and went up the street to the nearest Frys store. They must had at least two dozen electric carts or more ready to go. Later after getting back home I called the Walmart store on 32nd and talked to an assistant store manager. She said they only have 10 electric cars with two down needing repairs and one more needing something. Lots of senior citizens out here in the foothills of Yuma but Walmart does not think we are worth serving. About this time last year, I talked to the store manager. He said there is nothing he could do as far as getting more electric carts due to the budget. !! So as the electric carts continue to fall apart, a lot of us will be shopping elsewhere. Actually most grocery stores, plus Lowes and Home Depot have more electric carts than this store. They call this Walmart a Super Store, REALLY. !!!! read more
