The apathy is lousy...after waiting in 20 minutes for customer service, they tell me that some of their services are not available. After expressing my frustration at "customer service" more like customer dis-service. I even said that they should have a sign or notify customers of services that are temporarily down and the woman who is standing to the side with no regard says well some services are down. Not a good Walmart at all. Lazy workers who spend more time chatting between themselves than working - wish I had a job like that!! Not much of anything in the store it's more like a large size gas station convenience store than anything else. They are more excpensive than the larger Walmarts as well. I was there today to pick up an item which took almost two weeks and numerous phone calls to get - I actually think they gave my item to whoever showed up first. Even worse Walmart always allows several days before they put the item back in stock, however I was sent an email at 6:30P on Friday night and had to pick it up by 10AM Saturday morning or they would put it back in stock - new policy I was told. Really?? Maybe those don't work can get there at 10A but if you work and get a message on Tuesday night to pick it up Wed morning - you're screwed! Anyway they were slow at getting the item and finally lo & behold it was there!! I picked up other items and spent close to $100 and found when I got home my receipt had several items that were charged for twice when I only got one of each - almost $10 they stole from me. So please do yourself a favor and watch the cashiers - who knows if they are pocketing the money as they will have an overage or if they get bonuses depending on how many times they cheat people. This place is like the worst Walmart you can go to in the country. Oh my gosh it's horrible. First of all today I asked the man if they have funko pop figures in stock he simply said if you don't see it here then no and walked away. So I asked another man and he said he will check and I waited for 30 minutes in the same exact spot to see him sitting down on his phone in the stock room. The isles are a mess and the employees are clearly not motivated and are not accommodating at all. Also the lines are so long especially during back to school time. Out of all the Walmarts I've been to this ranks at the bottom next to the Bodega in Uniondale. I give it 3 stars cause I expect nothing from this place except the necessary toiletries I need. The nice employees are kind enough to leave you alone cause they are too busy gossiping. Plenty of items on the floor still wrapped up on pallets in the middle of the shopping aisle. Long pleasant lines give me enough time to work on my Words with friends. But the Pharmacy is always on point with my Meds just about the only nice people in that place. read more

This store is a complete "Nightmare" to shop in. Rude stares & dirty looks from workers texting away on their cell phones seems to be the norm. The customer service workers are incompetent and too busy chatting to serve customers. Don't bother asking for help. The manager( illiterate) won't give you the time of day, and Veronica who runs the return desk is a nasty and miserable person who appears to hate her job. This location is 100 times better than the location in Westbury! I like to think of this as a Walmart Express. It doesn't have everything other locations do but whenever I come here it's always clean. Even when it's crowded it's never messy. The DVD section is tiny, there aren't enough staff on the floors to help at times but things are easy to find. read more

Loves this Walmart! You can save a small fortune if you do some of your food, cleaning, laundry, school and office supplies shopping here! They're fully stocked --most of the time. They have great clearance deals on household items. Most importantly, it's never as ridiculously crowded as the Green Acres (Long Island) location. The only reason I go to this Walmart is because it is the closest one to my house. It is very messy and the aisles are so incredible small that it is hard to get through sometimes, especially near the snacks section. The staff are for the most part, sad. They don't seem very enthusiastic and it is as if you are bothering them by asking where something is located. Sometimes the lines can get excessively long which is bothersome because there are many workers who are just doing nothing but watching from afar. Also I asked a worker about a watch in the jewelry section who obviously did not take me seriously. He left to go "get the key" and then never returned. I came in to the walmart today to pick up a site to Store order. When I got there I had the receipt I printed online with me and the email walmart had sent me. I went to pick up my order and the man who was helping me seeing that I was 9 months pregnant and ready to pop had me wait while he helped and chit chatted with his Co workers. Finally when he felt he was ready to help me he took my receipt and asked for ID. why would you need ID if I have my receipt and my email ?? I asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came I asked why they needed my ID? he said for fraud purposes as if the receipt and email weren't enough. Someone gave me this as a gift. He then gave me the nastiest attitude and told me I couldn't get my item unless I had ID. Mind you I'm 9 months pregnant and ready to pop any day now. I thought people had a little more consideration. They were so disgusting. I finally took my receipt and left. I broke down into tears and had an asthma attack. I went to my car and tried to relax. I found my work ID in my car so I brought that in. When I went back in the man completely ignored me. He walked towards the back and so I followed. I said this is what I have and that's that. When before I left the manager (Roy Dell) told me it had to be a GOVERNMENT issued ID. So you will take a bull shit work iD? but now my gift reciept? .. I was so upset. Absolute atrocity of a walmart. I've been here several times and I will never step foot in this place again. The employees are so rude with absolute 0!!! Customer relations skills. it does have quite a variety of things like grocery items, electronics, sports wear, and clothes and that's the only reason I gave it a second star. This store has the worst service ever, this people treat you like you're not wasting your money there, the managers are the worst they feel as they can speak to u any way possible. I went to return something today and the lady at customer service whose name is Shonda kept making side comments about why I was returning it. 00000000000000000000 ZERO STAR We are all aware of what kind of shopping you do at Walmart and of course we all know they aren't necessarily known for their superior customer service so I often ignore the long waits, the rude service and the less then cleanliness of most of their stores. However this particular Saturday I simply have to let people know and maybe even the this will fall upon the eyes of someone in charge who can do something about this location. Uniondale, NY Walmart, 1123 Jerusalem Ave just so everyone know the exact locations is beyond the worst Walmart I have ever been in. Being the worst of something that is already bad is well simply disgraceful. Beyond the fact that every single encounter I had with an employee and I mean every was a rude, condescending and offensive one. In addition I specially went because I was looking for a specific television and their own website state they had it in stock. Not only was it in stock but I brought a print out of their website and they confirmed it showed in their system. However I can only assume that management or maybe loss prevention helped themselves to this stock because for whatever reason they were nowhere to be found. So on top of the fact that no one and I mean no one wanted to be helpful or even friendly those customer service reps in the Electronics department couldn't located these televisions. No I admit they probably went behind closed doors told a few jokes and return stated they couldn't find it - I mean honestly I have no way of confirming they actually looked another reason I believe that the employees must be in on skimming stock. I then asked for and spoke with the Customer Service Manager because apparently there was no Electronics Department Manager on duty. Keep in mind this was a Saturday - regardless the very rude and very unwilling to help Customer Service Manager after wasting pretty much an hour of my time said they were too busy to look for the products. When I asked to speak to someone else she basically said she was in charge and didn't know what else she could do. I am not saying specific people or names because honestly every encounter was bad. It is sad that not are they rude but the company clearly doesn't care if their employees including those in charge are stealing from the company and refuse to help paying customers. Like I said I went here specifically thankfully I don't live in this area and I am not subject to such blatant bad service and disrespect. I have been to this Walmart before and usually found it to be a fine store, as it has delivered on the positive virtues of Walmart that I am used to, like many products sold at prices that are on the lower side in an environment that usually leads me into retail hypnosis if you know what I mean! Anyway, while I usually go to the Walmarts in Westbury and East Meadow, as they are closer to my home, I was in the area and needed to stop at Walmart, so I stopped in. Upon entering this Walmart, which is slightly smaller than the aforementioned Westbury and East Meadow stores, this store was clean, well-organized, and well-stocked based on my experience today. I first went to the cleaning product section, where I picked up a 24-pack of Swiffer pads, priced at $7.97, which is cheaper than other stores where are they are sold. Next, I went to the large pet section, where I picked up three bags of Wild Harvest guinea pig food, which is made in Ohio and happens to be the favorite food of my guinea pigs. I picked up three 4-lb bags, priced at about $5 in change, which happens to be lower priced than every other store that sells guinea pig and just as good, if not better in quality to boot. When it came time to check out, I was thankful that there were many registers open when I went. There was a bit of a line, which is to be expected based on my experiences shopping at Walmart, but I did not have to wait too long. I found Kathy, the cashier who assisted me, to be courteous and efficient, making for a great checkout experience. Overall, I would definitely stop at this Walmart again if I were in the area based on my positive experiences here. read more

Terrible customer service. When you walk into Wal-Mart you expect to be greeted by a smiling face and a hello. Instead employees are chatting away with each other. I had a Horrible experience with this Walmart. I waited on the pickup line for about 20-30 minutes just to pickup a Nintendo switch game (Mario) WHICH WAS STOLEN! There was no game cartridge inside the box. So I walked right back after taking about 10 steps and the kid helped me out and said he would grab Mario for me but it wasn't in stock. So he then went on and told me to pick out any game and he'll bring me up front to customer service and they will make it right. So I grabbed donkey Kong and walked up to customer service with him, they opened the game in front of me the game was there and all was good but then a problem occurred when the check out/game swap happened. After going back and forward and explaining my story to a few people an hour and half goes by and the manager "Beatrice" came and did absolutely nothing for me. She offered me my 25$ refund on a game that's normally 60$ that I stayed up late and purchased on a cyber Monday deal. Thanks for nothing! She could have very easily just made the game exchange ate the extra money that the game costed and made a customer happy but due to this bad experience I will never be shopping at a Walmart again. Been here a few times but today I finally realized why their are so many negative reviews about their employees, I was in the electronics department and needed help with an item that was locked so I see an employee standing by the register and I simply asked her if she could help me with a item I wanted but was locked and her response was this is not my department, ok you work at Walmart you have to have a key to unlock items in every department,turns out the person who was working in the electronics department was helping another costumer and I did not see her till she rang that costumer up so then the worker who told me she did not work in that department had a bag of funyuns and a soda in her hand she was waiting to pay for it in the electronics department are you kidding me more time I was waiting standing their so I waited patiently till the workers were done chit chatting , then when She was done with ringing up the other employees funyuns at 10am I told the cashier I needed an item off the shelf which she got with no problem then I told her I was standing waiting by the register for like 5 minutes and asked another worker to help me get this and she told me it was not her department and her response was that does not matter we all have keys to unlock items off the shelf, unbelievable just pure laziness the only reason I give this Walmart 2 stars because it is not packed like other Walmarts I've been to. read more
