(It wasn't good enough) I was so disheartened after having had the same wonderful optometrist for 30 years before I moved here. I went here as my new insurance covered the office and figured it couldn't be worse than my old one. I booked soonest available which was within about a week and half and saw Dr. Pippin. It is my understanding he is newer to the practice. Everyone at the office was lovely but Dr Pippin was amazing. He really listened to me and spent probably 30 minutes with me trying to dial in my script. We got glasses as perfect as can be. The gentleman who helped me order my glasses was helpful as well. I was able to find a rim I really liked, but didn't like the color it was available in. However he was able to find that it comes available in color that suits my skin tone well. They came out perfect and I can finally see! We are still working on dialing in a contacts script, but I'm very happy with the efforts thus far and have recommended this office to others already as well. I have immense gratitude for Dr Pippin and his staff for finally helping me see right.

If an institution requires using PPE, they should at least educate their employees on WHY. I already knew this being a surgical first assistant for 30 years. The CDC uses "space suits" and the surgical staff utilize PAPRs when treating viral patients. I've tried several of the larger opticians in PC, and it was like being in a third world country not to mention they book two patients during the same time slot. Dr. Wainwright is well educated and highly experienced along with Bill. They are a dynamic duo.

Prices were great with Sears which is why I looked into becoming a new customer with them. This is a review for my recent purchase on Sunglass World website…read more I lost my favorite Maui Jim sunglasses during a trip, and I wanted to buy the same pair; however, the same sunglasses had been sold out on Maui Jim website and other resellers' websites. I came across Sunglass World website, and found that they still had the same sunglasses. They also had a promotional price on those sunglasses. Without further looking into their reviews, I just went ahead to place an order. I waited for two days, but no email confirmation or anything. Then I started to worry since it was my first time to purchase from their website. I started to wonder if I fell at a scam. I emailed and waited for a day, but still no response. I called the number on the website, but nobody picked up. At one point, it was transferred to a voice inbox with different phone number. I was almost convinced that I had fell at a scam. Then I just called one of their physical stores in Florida. Someone picked up the phone and gave me a different number to call. It sounded like the physical store was real, but somehow the online store was not. I kept calling for two days, and finally a guy picked up the call and explained to me that there was a system issue and that everyone in the office was either on vacation or taking a leave. He was able to find my order to confirm with me that my order would be shipped out in the same day. He told me that I should be getting an email with the tracking information in next few hours. His words calmed me down a little bit, so I just waited for the email with the tracking information that he had promised. I gave it a weekend, but I still didn't see any email with the tracking information, so I started to call again. I kept calling, but none of the numbers worked. When I almost gave up and was about to call my credit card to dispute the charge, a lady from Sunglass World called. She was very polite and apologetic for their late response and system issue. She gave me a tracking number and told me that they had upgraded my shipment from ground shipping to 2nd day air shipping. She also said that they had thrown in a free gift along with my order and that they would send me a coupon via email for me to use next time. I entered the tracking number online and did see a shipment had been dropped off, so now I know I didn't fall at any scam. Sunglass World is definitely legit!! As they had promised, I did receive my order with an extra piece of cleaning cloth. It's much bigger than regular glasses cleaning cloth, so I guess we could use it for multiple purposes, like computer screens. I didn't get the email coupon, however. I kind of have a mixed feeling toward this business. The ending turned out to be fine. I am surprised that they don't respond to phone calls or emails. I can understand that sometimes things happen and nobody is in the office to answer phone calls or emails, but no response for a few days without any sort of notice, such as phone greeting recording or automated email responses, was just not a business like practice. I just have to be honest to say that they should improve their customer service. I also found some other online reviews mentioning that they couldn't reach out to anyone at the customer service. I was thinking if I should give them 3 or 4 stars. Honestly, the deals are probably the best among all the online deals I could find. I am happy to find such a great deal to buy a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Maybe I will still buy again if I see any good deals.
