The day of the appointment we entered and the eye glass staff members were having very loud personal conversations for all to hear. This created an unprofessional environment and a poor first impression of the facility. As we went back the eye staff member was not friendly, didn't smile once, was not friendly/warm towards my child, did not seem happy to be there, and seemed annoyed anytime I asked questions about tests that they wanted to run. We were then led to a patient room where we waited for awhile. As we were waiting to be seen, I could overhear more personal conversations being had by the medical eye staff. Finally the doctor enters the room and I asked if she had a chance to review my child's eye history beforehand. She stated no and looked at my child's chart and said that they've never received them. I said I was told you had them. She stated who told you that? I told her the front desk staff, she stated that they in fact did not have them. A professional company would've followed up with myself and/or the other doctor if they had not received them prior to the appt for a new patient. During the appt, a front desk staff knocked on the door and entered the room; we were basically pushed out. I have never been at a medical appointment where a front desk staff entered a patient room while being seen by a doctor/medical staff. As we were checking out they attempted to charge me over $200. Luckily, I have prior knowledge and questioned this. The front desk attendant was unable to answer my questions about the charges. Another staff member had to step in. They stated the doctor billed/coded it wrong. Not my issue! Then my bill magically went to zero. Save yourself the time, money, and headache. Staff is unprofessional and will try to overcharge and do not have adequate knowledge on eye billing. Only positive were the two friendly check in ladies.

My husband had a severe eye issue and stabbing pain in his eye and the receptionists there looked at my family like we were crossed eyed when I mentioned ER services even though their website states this is a service they provide. They didn't give any clarification or stated that we had to be established patients. Im sure their normal services are fine but they need to remove the ER services on their website if they don't provide this at all! Also i called first before going but no one answered the phone.

We took a trip to Rehoboth Beach on a Friday and, being unfamiliar with the ocean, I went in with my glasses and lost them when a wave crashed into me. I have an especially strong prescription (-6.25 & -6.5), so not having vision correction for an extended time isn't a viable option for me. I called a few places on Saturday when we were home again, but they either had a two week turnaround time to make a new pair of glasses (not an option, as I'd be out of the state at that point) or didn't have lenses in my prescription in stock for a more quickly made pair. When I phoned ModernEyes, Emily answered my call and was immediately sympathetic, friendly, and very helpful. She was able to find lenses in my prescription, and when I went to ModernEyes to pick out a pair of frames to go with them, she was incredibly helpful in choosing styles that suited me and advising me on which pair would best suit my time constraints, budget, and personal style. (I feel like it's the first time my tastes have aligned so well with someone helping me pick out frames!) They were able to cut the lenses to fit the frames in house, and in about 30 minutes, my new glasses were ready. She helped me fit the frames comfortably to my face and assured me I could get them adjusted if they ended up feeling too tight or if the lenses were disorienting in any way.
