Nice location!s on RT 9 .. lots of restaurants around .. lots of parking outside . I like the subway restaurant inside .. I like the deals in Walmart during thanksgiving .. really good price ... they have electronics , vegetables , fruits and all home needs . Billing is a bit slow .. there is also self billing options . Not much of employees around to help all shoppers .. return service is slowwwwwwww... it takes a long time during peak hours and on weekends. Today it took us about 25 mins to return something .. I wish the manager looks at the long queue and allocates more employees in the return department... overall an average experience... 3/5 read more

First (and last) time at this location. I mistakenly thought it was a 'super' walmart, so I stopped by because I was nearby. Surprisingly, it's MUCH bigger inside than I expected. The outer appearance is very deceiving. However, it was a bit unorganized and difficult to find things. Perhaps, the store was in disarray at the moment. But, the employees (mostly teens, I presume) were not helpful, at all. In the end, going here was more unproductive than resourceful. read more

It's the holidays and I did some online shopping for pickup at this location. My biggest regret through Walmart is choosing to have my items picked up here. First, parking is a nightmare. I'm sure the fact that it's the holidays made it worse no matter which day you decide to come to Walmart. When you come for pickup, you need to walk straight through the back. The pickup area is next to the shoe section. Check in with your name or order number at the machine and wait for your name to be called. I mean really, you have to keep on wait and wait and wait for it. There's literally only one person working the front of the desk behind a computer and one other person working in the back gathering items and both staff are extremely slow and forgets what items they are to gather and to whom. It's very disorganized here. Note: make sure check your pickup items if it's enclosed because they don't check what's given to you so you may pick up the wrong items or there may be missing items as well. read more

I pretty much live here! I don't usually need help so I can't say if their customer service is great or bad. They usually have everything I need and also have things atvlower prices then other places so I definitely like that. The isles and shelves are 85% of the time organized and I totally appreciate that aspect because some locations are a mess. I did wish it was cleaner outside but you can't blame them much since customers can be so inconsiderate. read more

An associate told me it would take a moment and left me waiting by the water cage in front of the registers for now 10min. I come here mostly in the morning or lunch hour, so I don't have a problem finding parking like most of the reviews state. However, I could see where the parking lot could be an issue. The store is so dirty. Associates are unfriendly and unhelpful. But that seems to be how Walmart operates. I've never seen anything different in a Walmart. Returning items here is a real pain. I waited on line for nearly 10-15 minutes and watched the associate argue with a customer over a return. When it was my turn, the return took another 20 minutes because the item "wasn't coming up in the system." It was really aggravating. For a retail giant of their size, you would think returns would be much easier. read more

By far the filthiest Walmart I have ever shopped !! What is going on here the parking lots, the bathrooms, the poor selections, they even removed all the price check scanners so you need to go to the register to check things. They always have minimal staff at registers and pick up counters, and I came in a few times to buy some inexpensive folding chairs and on my second run after I loaded the chairs in my vehicle and finally got to my destination to unload them I found chewing gum stuck to the outside carry bag of one. So gross this store can't even keep their merchandise clean. I truly wish this store would just close its doors and take the filth with it. I shopped here about 2:30pm and after parking my vehicle way at the back of the lot come to find my front hood opened and I am certain it was closed so I don't know how or who messed with it but this is not a safe lot or store to shop. This is the worse Walmart. I waited online for 45 min. The cashier was going slow on purpose. She kept asking the manager to go home. Her relief was late. When it was my turn she told me she will be right back. She walked over by the cigarettes. Took each glove off finger by finger. Washed her hands while saying the ABCs. That took 6min and another 3 to put her gloves on and walk to register. Then to ring me up another 15. She gave it to the customer good. You for sure lost customers that day. People we're leaving the carts where they stood. She was loving it. Never again walfarts!!! read more

Every time I come here I get hassled by the XFINITY or Verizon FIOS rep near the electronic department. They get real pushy too. I see other customers get annoyed as well. Other than that it's your basic Walmart. Nothing special. Customer service is non existent but that's what you expect at Walmart anyway. read more

This place has a huge selection and obviously great prices, but good luck trying to check out anything you buy. I came here last week to grab a few things and the lines were ridiculously long. The wait to check out surely would have been more than a half hour and this wasn't the first time I walked in and had to leave on a weekday! I've tried to wait the line out once or twice, but I always end up giving up and just going to another store. The urgently need more staff here. So went here for Black Friday shopping at like 430am And store was empty surprisingly. But most people were waiting at electronics. It took over half hour for someone to open the locked cabinets because they were also on the register and 10 people standing around in the main isle no one would help me and open it up because that one person had the keys to it. So no one could grab the keys off him and help me amazing!!! The one guy in electronics was going crazy. While all the other people on the floor were standing around doing nothing. So I get to the front end registers and there 2 two open and a self register are open I have 5 things so I go to the self check out I'm next on line and the person running the registers shuts them off and leaves ... doesn't say anything nothing walks away and also there was a line behind me going crazy I'm yelling at the girl are you kidding me and she doesn't look back nothing meanwhile now the other two lines are long and they don't open another register after they closed that one. This was beyond unacceptable and uncalled for for closing a register with no warning. Honestly I never seen anything like this and I'll be going to target or Amazon next time the deals weren't that important 5 items and I was in there over an hour and half doesn't make sense read more

This is hands-down the worst store that anyone, and I mean, anyone can possibly go to. I know Walmart is well known for their long lines but this store is the perfect example of that motto. Not only the lines are long, the parking lot is a mess! Anytime during the days, yes weekdays too, there are carts everywhere. The people that comes to this Walmart is either lazy AF or just don't give a cent where they lay their carts. You want your personal/social space? HAH Yeah Right, people will be bumping into you or all up in your back trying to stack their items up on the belt RIGHT BEHIND your items. If you think having carts everywhere is frustrating enough, there are also trash and waste everywhere. There are times where their computer system is down, so ALL CASH REGISTER takes only CASH! On regular days, you want to self check out? CREDIT CARDS ONLY. Why do this store bother having someone at the door to "check receipts" when there are people walking out the other door? I shop this Walmart even though there is one closer because it's cleaner. Lately, though, the caliber of employee is absolutely terrible. I asked for help locating if an item was in stock and was brushed off twice with "I dont know how to do that". "Do you know where I can get that done?" "No". A very sweet security guard? Tried helping me up front to no avail. I asked someone in a different section (since everyone was too busy tasking) for help and was met with "I cant look that up, the section you want is up front". Meanwhile, I'm holding the item IN MY HAND, so obviously, I know where the section is. I work retail. This is my local WalMart. It's one of the nicer ones in Central NJ. It's my go-to place for household and personal needs. I've been coming here for years. I just bought a new house and need almost everything for it. Rugs, towels, cleaners, kitchenware, bath products, etc. all in all, quality is decent but I think the prices have been going up. I can get some of the same things at the dollar store for a third of the price! This WalMart is pretty clean, including the bathroom. The staff is friendly and courteous. Even though the store is big, you don't always find what you are looking for. There's more variety at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They used to have price checkers throughout the store but as of recent have been removed. What a shame! Those were so helpful! Bring those back, WalMart! Bonus - they have an Auntie Anne's in the store! And a Subway! Both are good food options. read more

Walmarts are generally stores to be avoided at all costs. However, I find myself needing money orders about once a month, and Walmart's prices really can't be beat. 70 cents for a money order, it's the cheapest I've found. But let's talk about opportunity cost. The lines at customer service are always at least 5 people deep, and the employees have no sense of urgency in getting the line down to 0. Also, their computers or internet or whatever is needed for money orders go down frequently. The parking lot is always jam packed, too. If there was another option for reasonable money orders, I would never visit this Walmart again. However, spending an hour at Walmart for my 15 second transaction once a month is where my life is right now. read more

Went to Electronics Depot asked where I could find stylus with tip for phone. Directed me to K16. ALL that was there was electric accessories, NOT what I asked for. Went back to their desk, person I del with was playing with a dog that someone had brought in. This is not the issue. Another rep came to the register, mask was under her nise. *SHIP TO HOME NOT TO ANY STORE!!!!* For a company that say fast and free pickup on online orders you should definitely stop airing that commercial, I ordered a simple desk, email says will be available 12/12 after 6pm. So I go inside, it's now 630pm, my order number doesn't show up on the kiosk and says "look for associate" whose nowhere to be found, multiple shopping carts filled with items surrounded the kiosk where I had to move them around to get to the kiosk. I can get any info finally an associate shows up and I ask him about my order give him the number and now his smartphone says it hasn't arrived, so I ask him to track it, he says he has to go in the back I told him no rush, 10minz later he comes back and says he can't find anything, now this is what irritates me the order was coming from Edison NJ to be deliver to woodbridge NJ, this is about a 20-30minute drive and they can't get the order there in time. Next time I order online from Walmart, if there is a next time I will ship it directly to home. read more

Horrible dirty, nasty store. Since it's close to major highways you are also getting a huge overflow of people from NY. The parking lot is HORRIBLE apparently people don't realize what an ENORMOUS ARROW painted in the lanes means because they drive whatever way they want to race to get a parking spot they saw even though they are driving THE WRONG WAY! Then it gets worse inside (let me start by correcting the post saying it's a mega store, IT IS NOT ONE OF THEIR MEGA STIRES, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!) The dirtiness continues, everything thrown around, out of place and unkempt. May the good Lord help you if you need to find someone who works there. They are either too busy talking to each other or they can't speak any type of understandable English. Then you get to the unsupervised children running all around, bouncing balls, riding bikes, scooters, skateboards and anything else they can grab. Plus the little toy guns and lightsabers they shoot and swing at anyone unfortunate enough to be in their path! Make sure you had something to eat before you go too because you will be waiting in the checkout lines FOREVER. There you get the joy of having the checkout person screaming back and forth to another employee having a conversation while they are supposed to be ringing you up. Wow, wonder why the lines are so long huh??? If you want to go to a Walmart, go to the one in Edison or one of the ACTUAL Mega stores on Rt 18 in East Brunswick or Old Bridge. The womens bathroom by where you come in was disgusting and there was no toliet paper or paper towels in the bathroom. The toliet paper was scattered on the floor and there was also a bloody tampon on the floor. There was no soap in the dispenser and when a customer versed her concern to an employee who was working by the door she said it was not her job and to go to customer service. There were not enough registers open and the lines were very long and the managers did not even call for back-up. The parking lot was not lighted up which makes it very unsafe to walk out to your car. read more
