The phone service is an absolute joke. You get put on hold for 20-30 minutes just to ask a simple question, and then they come back with an attitude like YOU bothered THEM. The pharmacist acts overwhelmed and disorganized constantly, also a rude dick. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be, nobody communicates with each other, and every visit turns into unnecessary stress. What happened to professionalism? This is a pharmacy, not a high school hangout spot. The staff acts annoyed anytime someone asks a question, and the customer service is honestly embarrassing. I've had better experiences at busy chain pharmacies than this so-called "friendly neighborhood pharmacy." Honestly, I'm switching to CVS. It's closer, faster, and at least when employees have attitudes there, management actually steps in and fixes it. Here, the bad attitudes are apparently encouraged because nobody does anything about it. And CVS calls you to tell them they have your medications and then call you when they're ready. Here, you have call them. You wonder why you're losing business? This is exactly why. The ownership changes constantly, employees don't care, and the whole place feels poorly managed. I give this place maybe 3 more years before it either gets sold again or shuts down completely. You'd think they'd read these and take them into account and learn from them, but NO! they think they're doing you a favor. We're right, you're wrong. What do you expect on Staten Island? This is why mom and pop businesses are going under and everyone would rather shop online just not to hear people's attitudes. Keep having this mindset. They're also only kind to you if they know you personally, if they don't know you they don't care. I get a mild low dose benzo, but because this is Staten Island, junkies galore!, they just lump everybody into the same category. As long as your bottle has the orange label on it, you're going to be treated just the same as anyone who picks up Oxycontin. I especially don't have to tell them what my medical diagnosis is. I wasn't aware they were my physician. I could go on and on and on. One last thing: imagine dreading having to call this place because the nasty heifer that answers the phone, only a cashier btw, always asks you what you're looking for while smacking her gum. Rude much? I'm looking for your mother, whatever the doctor sent, you got my name, you see the prescriptions, why are you asking me. A joke. She isn't the owner, the pharmacist, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who has complained about her, yet, she's still there. This place will never do better, so don't waste your time. It's a shame. I support small businesses, but unfortunately, a lot of small businesses, especially on Staten Island, don't care. I guess because they're just miserable and arrogant to begin with and feel as if they got it like that and they're entitled to be a jerkoff because they're having a bad day. Imagine if we all did that because they're the only one'sallowed to have a bad day. I've worked in retail, personal stays personal, and most of all, the customer is always right. Do better. but you're not going to. Go to CVS, Walgreens, don't go through nonsense and get upset by these people just to get a medication.

They also do compounding although I haven't used them for this and the compounding might be a bit more expensive. I have used them to fill prescriptions when other places wouldn't fill them. They are able to fill the prescriptions reasonably quickly and I think if you are in the local area then the may deliver although I haven't used them for this. If you want a friendly local pharmacy that doesn't reject prescriptions and also does compounding then this is a good place to go. The prices are also reasonable.

My doctor sent my prescriptions on Tuesday, I went to Tiffany to pick up a prescription on Tuesday that was ready and was told that my other prescriptions would be filled today and tomorrow. However when I called this morning I was told a different story by the pharmacist on duty who has always been the least helpful one but he took his lack of regard for the wellbeing of patients to a different level today. He very sighed loudly when I asked him if I could expect my prescription to be filled tomorrow and spoke to me as if I were a nuisance. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with ANY pharmacist anywhere. He completely dismissed me and I was so shocked that I said,"I get it, thanks", and I hung up the phone. I have been an extremely loyal customer for years and I have referred many friends and family to Tiffany Pharmacy. I am such a patient person and I don't elicit rude responses from anyone because I treat everyone with a great deal of respect, however I do ask questions. I am just so disappointed and shocked that I had to write this review, and I never write reviews. Everyone at Tiffany is such a pleasure to speak with and I mean everyone, but after my interaction with that pharmacist today, I just feel terrible. Tiffany is more than a pharmacy to me, the core group of pharmacy staff that I am familiar with such as Maria, Stephanie, Kelly and a few others genuinely care and it shows In their work. They have gone above and beyond for me as well as for my family members, always helping to make difficult times a little bit better. I have never been treated so terribly by any pharmacist or pharmacy staff member anywhere. I don't mind waiting for my prescription because I have before and I am well aware that pharmaceutical shortages are just the new normal, but these issues are always explained to me by other pharmacy staff. Furthermore, as someone in the healthcare field I understand how important it is to foster positive relationships with patients, to answer their questions and to ensure that they have the information necessary to adhere to their medical treatment. I can only imagine the detrimental effects this pharmacist could have on an elderly person's adherence to treatment when they call with questions about their medication being filled or general questions. Furthermore, my elderly mother has also had less than helpful interactions with this same pharmacist, and if not for dedicated pharmacy staff such as Maria, she would have remained confused about her medication. Everyone at Tiffany has always treated me with respect, despite being busy. My hope is that Brian will read this review and attempt to solve the root of this issue by addressing that pharmacist's behavior with him. They pick up the phone without a greeting and put your back call on hold. After waiting on the phone patiently, the agent repeatedly puts the call on hold. It's really frustrating. When you finally get someone on the line, they don't listen to your request. I advised the agent that I needed to report a patient's death so they can close the account. The agent proceeded to ask me what prescription I was calling for to have filled. I had to repeat and explain again the reason for my call. Then she.said the patient's file will be notated. I hope she actually notates the file and things are appropriately closed out on their end.

Since my last review was deleted, here I go, again…read more.. Within the past year, Moribotos is under new ownership &, lets just say, I wasn't the happiest customer once this happened. Prescriptions I had been getting for 7 years, every 30 days, now weren't able to be filled the same day. Why? Well, last month I had to call the insurance company/dr office myself bcuz I was told I was unable to fill 1 of my prescriptions, (& not having this particular prescription would inevitably put me in the ER within a few days, & a pharmacist should be 100% aware of this/was aware, since I told him that && I was also leaving for vacation), so I HAD to get this done. (Mind you, ea time I went into the pharmacy, it wasn't PACKED - he was on his cell). He told me to make the calls/aka - do his job, (which the woman from my insurance company told me). After my 2nd call to the insurance company (approx 3min total on the phone/the amnt of time it would've taken the pharmacist here to do it), they told me my prescriptions were ready TWO DAYS AGO! Knowing I was supposed to leave for vacation (& knowing I had told Mike MANY times, I was LIVID!) Not only did he screw up ALL my medications somehow, but NOW, he made me miss 2 days of my vacation & $1500 for accomodations on my vaca (which I also told him), cuz ya can't cancel day of! -- so, knowing ALL of this didn't need to happen, & it was 100% the fault of the pharmacist made me soo angry! Incompetence is the 1 thing I CANT stand! Especially when dealing with someone's medication! Needless to say, I've just switched pharmacies today & GUESS WHAT?! - I CAN FILL ALL OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS THE SAME DAY! Thus proving the Pharmacist's incompetence. & while I did curse him out, he 100% deserved it! He made me lose $1500!! I TRIED to stay bcuz the location is ideal, but it caused me SOO much stress that my Doctor suggested I switch pharmacies, especially after hearing that I was receiving some 2 weeks apart from my other medications, & he knows they're meant to be given on the SAME DAY! - it's common sense! The lead pharmacist, Georgette, is an absolute gem. Over the years, she has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Prescription issues are not always straightforward, but Georgette is always willing to make the extra phone call, read the fine print, and patiently explain the "why" behind whatever situation comes up. Her dedication and attention to detail are truly remarkable. Mary made the pharmacy feel like home. Every time I walked in, she already knew my name and my husband's name and often had what I needed ready before I even asked. She's down-to-earth, incredibly kind, and always a pleasure to talk with. I've also known Amr (the owner) for years, and he is the definition of a professional. From running a business to caring for patients, he truly "inspects what he expects." He leads by example, genuinely cares about people, and is simply one of a kind. I highly recommend this pharmacy for all of your prescription needs. The team consistently goes above and beyond to make the healthcare experience easier, communicates proactively, and treats customers like family. Even though their hours may be more limited than those of large chain pharmacies, I found that the personalized service more than made up for it. We were " guaranteed" results only to find out from the tech thereby can't guarantee. A person in the waiting area said try Texas Road Pharmacy. I called. Rhiha said come right in. We went and got the test and we literally saw our tests get transported in seconds. To boot our results came back in less than 24 hours. We are so grateful to this young girl for saving us so much stress. Thank you Rhiha! You're amazing! .
