The womens bathroom by where you come in was disgusting and there was no toliet paper or paper towels in the bathroom. The toliet paper was scattered on the floor and there was also a bloody tampon on the floor. There was no soap in the dispenser and when a customer versed her concern to an employee who was working by the door she said it was not her job and to go to customer service. There were not enough registers open and the lines were very long and the managers did not even call for back-up. The parking lot was not lighted up which makes it very unsafe to walk out to your car. read more

While this store is always clean and well stocked the lines are horribly long. I've never waited less than 20 minutes in this store even during off peak hours. They really need to add more cashiers. read more

I am pretty sure judging from dealing with the assistant manager today, a very rude woman in stationary, a clerk who literally didn't speak English, and a cashier with the poorest customer service skills possible this Walmart should be closed. I do not understand why people who work there will not check in the back for stock and also not give options to the solution. I understand people can be rude to them, though I was not. Also I feel cashiers should say things like "please let me help you or "thank you for shopping here have a nice day." Also greeters and checkers should make eye contact and ask to please see the reciept and then also thank people for shopping at Walmart. Stock clerks should actually speak English so it can be understood. Though this lady was more helpful than all the others The assistant manager who looked both very tired and over worked. Absolutely horrible experience. Seriously if you read this review I highly recommend going to a different Walmart or find a different store. The amount of customers shopping compared to the amount of employees is way higher. Lines are all the way backed up, parking lot is completely full, people don't look before they walk. The self checkout line only has 4 registers with lots of people waiting. There are only 1 out of the 4 registers that allows cash, 1 out of the 4 registers is broken, and then other two, you can only use a credit card. And sorry to say this but does Walmart even look into someone's resume before they are employed? Or do they just say.. "Oh you're Indian just like me?! Well I'll be damn! You're fucking hired! Please go to a register, act like you don't speak English, hold up the lines for as long as you can and when someone is in need of help, ignore them!" Lol. Hope this review helps. Longest checkout lines I've ever seen in a store, and it's not even a big shopping day. There are 16 cashier stations but only 4 cashiers. Of the 4 self checkout stations only 2 are functional. Main function of this hellhole seems to be to inspire online shopping. Stay away!!!! read more

I come from staten island we have no Walmart so this store is close to me. I read reviews on how the outside of the store is dirty.In my experiences I have not seen that. But, does that determine if you want to get a good item for less than lets say,"target" who is substantially more in pricing. Or that the items on shelves are not neat. I don't think so. When I come here it is for "ship to store pickup" At the times I have been at the store I never had any problems with cashier's or anyone in customer service dept. The reason I did give it only 2 stars is I do notice that the shelves are not always filled. read more

I try to get in before lunchtime if I'm able and that's about as busy as I can deal with this place and how few cashiers there are. Self checkout has gone from 4-6 stations open to 2-4 and one or more won't give cash back or only takes credit. Unless I go early like opening time there's usually a line of 5+ people at Customer service. The two times I had to deal with CS to return an item 2-3 cs agents were working on one person's issues and ignoring the rest of us. Average time for people who aren't me to have their issue fixed is 10+ minutes. More than once I've walked out after dropping a handful of items I wanted to buy because when I came in there were no lines, or more open registers (this was years ago closer to when they first opened) only to get my stuff to find half the registers closed and there were lines of people with carts packed full of crap. Even in the express lanes, cashiers don't turn away carts of stuff. I made an order online to have my item shipped to store and when I got my email notice to pick it up one of the women working in that department didn't file it properly so they couldn't find it for half an hour. Wasted my time there while they checked their systems and couldn't find it. She offered a very pathetic apology, but lesson learned I won't be ordering anything ship to store at that location ever again. FYI this wasn't a tiny package it was over a foot wide/high by 3+ feet long rectangular box. I told them what it was and how it shouldn't be hard to find but still they couldn't manage. I think most of the time they were just hiding from me hoping I'd leave over actually looking for my package. More than once cashiers have double scanned my items trying to make me pay for more than I got or tried to charge me the higher price for an item that is smaller than a very similar item like small towels and medium towels. You need to watch them and check your receipt. I can also only guess the reason the floor in the entryway is like cobble stone is to prevent thieves from loading up a cart and making a dash for it but it is really stupid and annoying to have your cart shaking in your hands as you enter or exit the store from the main entrance. During the summer you can avoid that idiotic design choice by paying at the garden center and leaving that way, assuming anyone is at that register which is about 50/50. read more

This is a very average Walmart. Like most Walmarts. So if you don't have any moral objections to shopping at Walmart, then this one is fine.

Avoid this walmart if possible. For starters the place is a nightmare to find parking, secondly the store is usually a bit of a mess and items are out of place and lastly the departments in the store do not pick up the telephones when you call. Recently I had made a purchase through Walmart website to ship to store(I was in a bind and shipping to the store said it would be quicker than ship to home) so the items in question were supposed to be here on the 15th of December, i was ok with that but then I look at their website for a tracking 2 days later for an update and it's been sitting in the store for 2 days but not available for pickup that's when things get annoying. I had eventually called corporate because after several attempts since yesterday to find out what was going on by calling the store which I just got ringing and ringing I had to call corporate.... And they couldn't even get them to answer the phone, so I ended up getting a refund which now leaves me without the gift. My advice is avoid this Wal-Mart for pickup or even shopping and shop at the Freehold Walmart and it might be your best bet just to ship to the home. read more

The representatives who work in the customer service counter who do returns are atrocious. If you decide to be brave and wait online for the minimum 25 minutes, you'll be greeted with someone who clearly does not want to work there. Also, they clearly don't want to be attentive to you either. They'll do anything but concentrate on the task at hand. They'll spend more time conversing with each other and other employees then with you. Want to use the self checkout to avoid the absolutely insanely long lines at every other register? Good luck finding one that actually functions properly. You don't necessarily expect top-notch from Walmart in general, but this is definitely one of the worst ones I've been in. Go to the new one on route 18 in Brunswick. Much, much nicer. And the people actually seem like they want to be there as well. read more

This walmart store sells used products . I bought air bed ( inflated bed ) from this store . When I open the air bed at my home I was shocked , the bed was old , dirty and full of tapes . Next moment I took it to the stores , the old lady at the store old me to take the another air bed as the same model I purchased , I cannot get the money back . I picked some air beds from the shelf to exchanged and turned at the customer serviced , now the lady at the customer service told I cant return the product here at this walmart and need to contact the manufacturer , I asked her to check the history of the product and find out when was last time it was returned , but she refused , the other customer service representatives ganged up with praises for walmart that it dont sell the used product . The seen was so embarrassing for me , especially how the lady csr talking , I just felt the product there at the return counter and returned . I have the receipt with me , I am challenging the walmart to find the history of the product , and find how and in what condition the product was returned last time . With this incident one thing I am sure you need to open the box at the counter , to check it new or used . I dont want to used any harsh words . read more

Honestly the store is very nice, lots of variety, decent grocery, large shoe department, great seasonal. My only problem with this store is the lack of cash registers that are open. HELLO MANAGEMENT OPEN MORE REGISTERS for crying out loud. There must be about 20 checkout lanes and I have never seen more than 3 open at one time. I was there around noon on a Tuesday and there were about 15 people trying to checkout and only 2 self serve checkouts which kept needing assistance and 1 cashier at a register. Absolutely ridiculous because there were 2 cashiers and they closed one and the entire line had to move to the only remaining cashier. The personnel management of this store is really terrible. I come to this store about once a year even though it is the closest Walmart because it takes me about a year to forget how awful it is to try and checkout at this store. The whole checkout process negates all the fine qualities of this store. I shop at Target instead which is further from my home and more expensive because there is never more than one person on line ahead of me. If there are more than 2 people on a line the store QUICKLY opens up another register. Walmart needs to do the same. read more

im sure a lot of people would give anything for a job....even if it is at walmart. customer service manager ken, at least thats what his nametag states, is an embarrassment to all those in the retail service industry. upon asking for a manager at the customer service desk when the rep refused to allow me to make a return at 8 pm on a friday when the store closes at midnight, ken came towards the cs desk. as a 7 month pregnant woman, i was barely given the chance to speak. i was brutally screamed at- his hand waving in my face- & at one point i even begged him to back away from me because i truly felt threatened that he would not get out of my personal space. he spoke to me with rage, completely disregarding the fact that i was a customer & he was representing an entire corporation. when i stated i wanted to speak to someone above him about his behavior he said no one was in the store & to call 1800WALMART. as i sat in the parking lot, unable to leave due to my emotions & shock that i was treated in such a miserable way, a formal complaint was filed with the corporate headquarters & i hope he is soon replaced with an individual that needs the job & respects the customers they are being hired to provide service to. read more
