I don't particularly care for this location however it doesn't make since to drive to the Willow Grove location for a prescription. I don't recommend going to pick up a RX between 1:30pm and 2:30pm. The Manager Mayur was kind enough to explain why they didn't open exactly at 2pm. The reason being that some times they don't start their lunch on time and they have to rake their 30 minutes. That's understandable. Rachel is very helpful. She goes the extra mile if need be and that means a lot. I went there last week. The parking lot had absolutely no lights on. It was extremely dark and people were milling around trying not to get run over. Even the letters on the lit WALMART sign were not all working. There were long lines to check out. On the bright side, the gentleman in the electronics department was very helpful. He found my item and quickly helped me purchase it. If he wasn't there I would have left the store without my item, due to the slowly moving long lines at the checkout counters. read more

I had 2 deliveries with a total of about 8 Items total.. That shouldn't be too hard. I marked NO SUBSTITUTIONS. On The first delivery I received rotten mushrooms and the totally wrong kind of coconut milk so I was unable to make dinner. On the second delivery they substituted a different kind of meat so I will never be using this service again. It is also almost impossible to get anyone to tell them about the issue. This is the worst Walmart that I have ever visited. This location obviously lack a strong commitment to customer service. Very unprofessional staff, lacking training regarding their company's policies. On most occasions when I have to visit, you can often hear various employees complaining about the management personnel. I had an encounter with a guy named Lamont that identified himself as a manager, this guy obviously has never managed anyone or anything in his life. Lamont lacks leadership skills, customer skills, professionalism, problem solving, attention to detail, lacks organizational skills, and lacks knowledge regarding the company that he works for policies. The cashiers are **always** on their cellphones, especially in the 20-items-or-less express lane. They use their phones right in front of the rude managers/coaches, even when there's a line that's 20 miles long. The experience is consistently unpleasant. The cashiers do not say "hi" when approached or greeted, and I do not feel welcomed here. It feels like I'm interrupting their texting or talking time. This establishment doesn't provide bags, so there's no need to take all the items out of the cart, place them on the belt, have them scanned, and then place them where the bags used to be. The customer is left to individually take each un-bagged item and put it back in the cart, which is time-consuming. I've already waited in line forever because the cashier was on their phone, not scanning the products with any urgency. To speed things up, I politely suggest to the cashiers: "Scan the items while they're in the cart with your scanning gun. If you don't want to get off your phone or are too lazy to walk three steps, I'll do it for you so you can stay on your phone." There's no reason to place scanned merchandise in the former bagging area if you're not bagging the items. It's a waste of time and money. When I make this request, they display an attitude, like, "How dare you ask me to work at my job? Can't you see I'm on the phone?" On top of dealing with rude cashiers, they have customer service hosts checking receipts for un-bagged items. Since they no longer provide bags, I'm not wasting another second showing my receipt while they scan for every overpriced item I had to endure purchasing. Ask your cashier who's on their phone if I paid for my items, because you're not checking my receipt. read more

I'm currently in the longest line EVER waiting to check out 2 pairs of pants. I tried to check out in electronics because the lines up front were SO LONG. The people in electronics were standing around doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and when I asked to check out, they said I had to buy an electronic to check out there. So back to the front we went to stand in this stupid line. The guy in front of us literally only had two bags of rubber bands and had a similar experience at customer service where he tried to check out with someone who was also doing NOTHING who told him no. I was shopping for a particular product, and this store had it in stock, so I could order it for pickup earlier than I could at the location I usually choose. So after work one day, I headed to this store to pick up my merchandise. First of all, this location is in a plaza with a bunch of other stores and can be challenging to find. I had to drive around a good bit just to find it. Then inside, the store is pretty messy and chaotic. I passed by a very long line as I walked in, and I was very glad I'd be picking something up and wouldn't be lining up later. I had checked in for pickup with the app, so I went to the back to wait. While waiting, I went to the bathroom, which I found was pretty dirty. The pickup itself went pretty smoothly, though. That part was a saving grace for this visit. I managed to take package to Walmart for return, well, they couldn't process the return, now what do I do? This is ridiculous, I ordered ONE package, you send me two although, I immediately canceled the second package, a day later the canceled package was back in history orders, I called and spend hours on the phone for nothing. I have screen shot of the canceled order. I also recorded our phone conversation although I was told and promised that this issue was going to be resolved, nothing has been resolved yet. I have finally had enough. Sick of being treated like crap. Let me just put it this way. During a stint of unemployment, I was hired to work at the Toys R Us that used to be next door, for the Christmas season. Stayed on as a regular worker until the store closed. Walmart was recruiting workers and most who went over there were AWFUL at Toys R Us so I knew they wouldn't be any better over at Walmart. They didn't do any work, when they did it was half-assed, they were thieves, and had stank attitudes towards customers. The customer service of the sale associates is so trifling it makes me want to cuss. Why is it that whenever I come here there are only 3 lines open and about 15 people in each line? I remember acutely three occasions when I was the third or fourth person in a long ass line and the guy at the register started talking to another associate and then announces to her that he's going on break, finishes with the current customer and rudely informs everyone that he's on break and that they'll have to get in another line. EFF THAT NOISE. Yet, there's nothing you can do about it, because the manager is usually nowhere in sight or as lousy as his associates. Also, God forbid I come here and they are actually stocked with what I need. They always have a surplus of clothes but never enough food or hygiene products. Dove soap? Good luck with that. Secret deodorant? Not a chance. Want sparkling water? Too bad. Pancake mix? You're out of luck. Anything else you need? Nope, nada, zilch. This place is awful in so many ways. I had the craziest customer service experience of my life at this Walmart (Sorry in advance for the lengthy tale!). I bought an iPhone from Walmart.com compatible with my phone carrier and had it delivered to this location. I went in to pick up the device and was told three different locations where the item would be before finding it was available in Layaway. The associate in Layaway had trouble scanning the phone bar code to show pick up. She asked for assistance and 20 minutes later I was leaving the store with my phone (not a problem). I get home to set up my phone and my phone company states they cannot start service on the phone because it is showing it has not yet been purchase (what?!?!). By this time it is too late go back to the store, so I set up my icloud and figure I will return tomorrow. Get to the store in the morning and go through the returns line. Woman in returns tells me she will not be able to re-scan the phone and I will need to submit it as defective and place an order for a new phone. I'm not happy at this point, since there is really nothing wrong with the phone and now I've been at Walmart for longer than anyone should be. I agree to do what she says and she puts my refund money on a gift card. I'm about ready to walk away and the woman says my usb charger cord (just the cord not the base) is missing. I asked if I could run home and drop it off later as she already gave me the gift card. She says no that this would be stealing (???). At this point I ask to speak to a manager. I explain the entire situation to the manager, stating that I will now leave the store and return later to drop off the usb cord (as remember I already have my refund money and the phone has already been submitted as defective meaning they will not re-shelve the item). The manager begins yelling at me, actually at one point stated that it is 'people like me who are in the business of trying to screw Walmart' (WTF). Ended up not returning the usb (haha got you now!) and haven't been back to this Walmart since. Ordered a new phone on Walmart.com and had it shipped to my house (no issue). Called general customer service and reported the issue. Someone from the store was suppose to call me to follow up and never did. No worth trying to pursue further. My rating is an infinite negative number.....Expecting top notch quality from a store like Wally World is qutie ridiculous, but the least a buisness can do is provide shopping carts to its customers. Its like you practicially have to compete against your fellow walmart shopper to obtain a cart. I remeber almost having what appeared to be a texas showdown over who was going to get the last cart between me and four other shoppers.You do have your occasions when you're lucky enough to find a cart, but wait, there's going to be a catch!!! The carts are BROKEN and barley move past one feet from where you found it, or jammed among other reject carts so you're back to sqaure one..... All in all this store lacks, espcially in certain areas like electronics and beatuy. They never seem to carry what they advertise, or if they don't carry it, or they're out of stock. Just went to Walmart of Wyncote and had a horrible experience with Customer Service. I purchased two Christmas trees and didn't have time to return one until today. Without even asking why i am returning the item or looking at a receipt he said this store does not do Holiday returns. This was purchased less then 30 days ago and no where on the website or receipt was this stated. The representative stated that this policy is store specific which is odd because it is not posted in the store or on the website. I purchased a photo order online and normally when I pick it up, if the quality is not to my liking I am able to return it without a problem. Today's experiences was totally different and I did not receive my order as requested. I mad two orders of the same item within a span of 2 days. The first order was processed, I picked it up, but the quality was bad. The associate prcoeeded to explain to me if I feel the item is not to my liking, that I can bring the items back along with the order receipt provided. I proceeded to place the same exact order 2 days later and the picture was cut off. The Walmart was under staffed and barely had any associates available, let along someone at the photo center. The guy who gave me the photos told me, I had to go to customer service for a refund. The associate at the customer service register did not even know how to process my transaction, so I asked my a manager. The manager arrived with an attitude and asked me to explain what was going on. During my explanation she interrupted me and said if I don't have a TC number then they can't do anything for me as if I stole the photos. It didn't help that my phone had died, because I was in their for an hour in a half and I could bring up the order receipt in my email. I went to the car, charged my phone and came back with the order receipt email. Still no help. The manager Akiya(although her name tag didn't say manager), got an attitude and proceeded to be dismissive as well as aggressive towards me while I was standing their holding my 8 month old child. Of course I couldn't react as I was carrying my baby, but what I will and did do is call corporate and file a complaint and I will be calling the store manager in the morning to discuss this matter. Never have I ever been treated this way, by an employee who is supposed to set an example of standards as a person in leadership. Like all the other reviewers have said, this Walmart is horrible. Whenever I go to another Walmart it's shocking how much better they are, both in terms of a nicer layout and more helpful employees. The last time I was at this Walmart I was picking up an online order and the message on the kiosk said you needed either your name or your pickup number. The clerk at the desk basically yelled at me that I needed the pickup number because their system was down, as if I was supposed to know that or that's somehow my fault. My previous visit, the cashier rang up an item twice and when I pointed that out, he shrugged and told me I had to go to customer service because he was getting off shift soon and didn't have time to fix it, and when I told customer service I wanted to speak to a manager because it's ridiculous to make me wait in line again because of the cashier's fault, she just shrugged and said "well he did the right thing." Instead of trying to properly assist me she told me that the department I was trying to reach didn't answer because she says their phone is broken, she was going to transfer me their line again and said if they did not answer, then I'm just going to have to come in. When trying to explain I live 8 miles away she ignored me and immediately transferred me to the line and when it brought me back to her department (Customer service) she got more nasty in tone and repeated her previous actions and statements.
