After 25 years of dealing with a big name pharmacy and being treated badly, I switched to Wegmans's pharmacy. The difference is day and night. They answer the phone, I no longer wait for an hour (literally) and get disconnecte. The staff is wonderful and treat their customers with kindness and compassio. And just like the Wegmans's stores, amazing customer service!!! If you're using a giant corporate pharmacy and feel like a number, make the switch. You won't believe the difference. It pains me to do this as a Buffalo Native and lover of Wegmans, however the Karen at the self checkout with the Karen haircut really needs an attitude adjustment. I dont need to be harassed when I'm just about finished ringing my stuff out because I have a few more items than what they "allow" at self check. First off, maybe opening up more than 3 lanes would be ideal but that has nothing to do with me as a customer. As someone who had worked at Wegmans in my teens along with a few other grocery stores, I'm efficient in my scanning. No one typically bothers me because they dont realize because I am very quick in ringing out all of my items & I never bother anyone. I was treated as if I was stealing & the confrontation was gross. I spend easily between $200-400 anytime I am at Wegmans which is at least once a week. NO WORRIES. I will take my business elsewhere that values their customer's time. Pretty simple. This is the first time I have had issues with an employee there which stinks but I can assure you it will also be my last time too. I'm done with this particular location. I wont throw the towel in on Wegmans completely but I just about left my cart as it was with how aggravating it was. read more

Come for the Holiday Roast, Stay for the Field Trip Nothing says Christmas magic like discovering your carefully planned holiday lamb has gone rogue. We bought lamb from the Warrington Wegmans, responsibly stored it in the freezer, and prepped it the night before Christmas like civilized people. Unfortunately, when it was unwrapped, the smell immediately informed us that Christmas dinner had been officially canceled. Loudly. No backup plan, no open grocery stores, no festive feast just disappointment and the lingering knowledge that Santa definitely skipped our house. But wait, the real holiday gift came later: customer service. After explaining that the lamb was spoiled and had already ruined Christmas, Debra's supervisor decided the only acceptable solution was for me to physically bring the spoiled lamb back to the store to receive a refund. Because obviously, when food has gone bad, the logical next step is to put it in your car and go on a road trip. Apparently, photos, receipts, or basic human understanding were too futuristic. So thank you, Wegmans customer service team and Debra's supervisor, for turning a ruined Christmas dinner into a post-holiday errand involving spoiled meat. Truly the gift that keeps on giving. I used to think Wegmans was known for quality and service. Turns out, it's also known for requiring customers to relive their trauma in the returns line. Wegmans has cut down the size of some items in the bakery department. The small ultimate cakes have shrunk by at least 1/3. Very disappointing. The produce department has gone down a bit. The only fresh lettuce is Organic and it's usually not in the best shape. Been shopping there's since they opened, however we will be cutting back. Sorry to say this but Whole Foods produce and bakery is much better and the prices are comparable. read more

I generally shop at Wegmans as it is very convenient and they great customer service. I also shop at Whole Foods as I find their produce to be superior but recently I noticed that Wegmans that gets are disappointing. Even when I try to heat them in the oven, they don't get crisp. Nice grove of gluten free snack items located in the back of the store which is a blessing for my girlfriend and I as she was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease. You can find some quality unique items if you peruse the store which is very large in scope. Found me some garlic spiced steak today for a fair price and overpaid on some shrimp in a basting oil but meh would rather eat overpriced bourgeoisie food than the fast food that makes you overweight and much closer to death. Wegmans in Warrington is one of very few other supermarkets which offer both a wide variety of foods and drinks which most folks both enjoy and which most folks ought to have for good health. It is also a market for a wide variety of ethnic foods, household items, sundries, cleaning products, healthcare items and pharmaceuticals including prescription items such as medications and vaccines. Not all Wegmans locations have a pharmacy, and this one consistently demonstrates the exceptional customer service provided at this location and others in metro Philadelphia. As a septuagenarian, I have access to many groceries and alcoholic beverages that I was well accustomed to enjoying in earlier decades, including very many which I must now scratch off my shopping lists because they are too sweet, too salty, too rich, too expensive and no longer permissible for continued good health. The Pharmacy at Warminster was the best experience Iv ever received, from a company Iv never done business with before. I spoke to Chris was more helpful than anyone I spoke with today. I then briefly spoke to Nicoletta who helped me set up a profile. 15 mins later I get a text from "My Prescription was Ready! As I drove to the Pharmacy I expected a long line and pay 4x more "Nationwide Shortage". I walked in and was immediately helped. Paid less than MY pharmacy charges. I was on way in less than 5 mins. Amazing selection, good customer service and a very clean and inviting location - essentials for any good grocery, and the Wegmans in Warrington offers it all. First, their produce is first class. Unlike some of their area competition, Wegmans offers good quality produce and a broad range of choices at that. If you're a health nut or foodie, you'd be hard-pressed to find better options in the region. This is a large location, so they have pretty much everything you could want. In my every interaction with employees- not extensive, but reasonable - they have been polite and eager to help. One caution: this Wegmans is popular and as a result, it's often crowded. My choice shopping times to avoid the crowds are Mid-week after dinner, Friday's after 7 p.m. or weekends before 8 a.m. This Wegmans is my preferred grocery for stocking up for the week. read more

Wegmans tops all other grocery stores. Wegmans is king. I've been shopping here for a little over 4 years now, but I'm writing this review due to a excellent customer service experience I had today. I only come here occasionally because it's a 30 minute drive from my house. I always say, it's the little things that make a big difference. I roamed every aisle for a specific vegan product I was looking for. I had no luck so I asked an employee. He was clearly working on something else when I interrupted him, but he stopped and immediately paid attention to me. They have these cordless phone looking devices where they can speak to other employees instead of using a loud walkie talkie. Once the person on the other end told him where the product was, he walked with me to find it. He didn't just point and tell me which direction to go towards... this man showed me exactly where the item was. Which grocery store do you shop at where they do that?? Everything is usually pretty well stocked. Produce and fruit are always fresh. The hot food bar is something I especially love. You can eat before you shop and you won't overspend! There's a beautiful selection of foods including salads, Asian cuisine, pizza, roasted vegetables and more. Wegmans also has beer and wine. When I went up to the cashier to pay, the young lady asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I sure did, and then some. I will forever love shopping at Wegmans! read more

Interactions with the pharmacist herself are unpleasant, rushed and impersonal. Whether getting a flu shot or trying to straighten out a prescription the response is the same. I'm apparently wasting her valuable time. I need to find a new pharmacy. It was convenient to use this location because I grocery shop here, but I'm at the point where I am tired of dealing with unpleasant people. Ps. When this Wegman's opened, we loved it! The prepared foods were great, especially the bakery and sushi departments. Prices were reasonable and they had a great variety of products, especially in the natural/organic foods area. When they added the beer section things started getting weird in the prepared foods area. Then they moved/expanded the beer and wine to the center of the store and that is when things really started to diminish. The natural/organic section was reduced in size and variety; and the same for the general grocery department. The bakery is still great, but the sushi is not very good anymore. The other prepared foods are greatly reduced. The deli is relatively reasonable, but the meat department has gotten more expensive and customer service has suffered. Prices through the store have gotten higher and higher, while variety of products has been reduced. I used to go out of my way to visit this store; now I only stop by if I'm in the area. read more

Going into Wegmans is an overwhelming experience. They are so big and there is so much to choose from. It's fine if you are doing food shopping but if you're trying to figure out a quick meal on a lazy Sunday you'll be bombarded with a million things to choose from some of which you weren't considering prior to walking into the store. Don't get used to buying the same groceries here month after month. Because if you get used to a brand or an item, they will DISCONTINUE carrying it. This has happened many times to me over the last 5 years my local Wegmans has been open. Also, on the other hand, if they do continue to sell the item, they 1) raise the price 20% because they have you hooked, or 2) move the item in a different aisle in the store so you have a hard time finding it Their fresh cut fruit used to be enjoyable, now it's just a tasteless collection of unripened or over ripened crap. We shop at this Wegmans regularly. We buy organic produce--fruits and vegetables weekly, as well as Organic Valley dairy, and Wegmans organic chicken. They have a large selection of fruits and vegetables and the items are fresh. It looks pleasing too. Wegmans is large and has a good variety of organic products for being a regular grocery store. We don't really eat too much meat or prepared foods. I've tried some of the prepared foods in the past at another Wegmans (soups, salads, hoagies, dinners, Chinese food) and wasn't very impressed, especially for the prices, so I don't bother. The cooked sushi rolls are good so I get them once in a while. The bakery items are fresh and delicious. I've tried many of their breads, cakes, bagels, donuts, croissants, etc. The breads are especially scrumptious and often still warm when you buy them. They'll slice the loaf for you too, which is nice. The corn bread isn't great though. Wegmans has a large selection of regular grocery items too, as well as kitchen products, cards, a floral department, and beer and wine. I've found that the prices on wine are the cheapest around, at least for the ones I bought: Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, and Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse. Overall the store is clean and the employees are actually helpful and nice. I'm avoid going at busy times like Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If I go on the weekends it's usually after 5:00 when the crowds due down. Parking is ample but at peak hours, people are parked in the far reaches of the lot. I think the prices are competitive for what you get. We mostly buy all organic and it's cheaper than Whole Foods. You can't compare it to other food stores like Shop Rite because it's not in the same league, so it's like comparing apples to oranges. We have a Shop Rite near us and I hate it. Plus, Shop Rite stores do disgusting things to the food. I know a former regional manager of Shop Rite and he confirmed that they add red food coloring to the already old meat when they get it, in order to make it look new. They also add coloring to the fruits and vegetables to make them look prettier, like spraying the limes green. It's disgusting! Shop Rite is not cheap either so I don't understand why people shop there. too. Acme stores are cleaner, nicer, and and cheaper, so I will go there every once in a while if I need something, and am near one. They don't compare to Wegmans though. Anyway, I digress. Lol. Idiot me, dropped my credit card on the belt and it fell thru and almost impossible small opening(Murphys law). Reily the cashier immediately figured out the problem and summoned Corey who got on the floor,on her back to see if she cold navigate and secure my card. No luck. She then lifted and stretched the belt and with Reily cheering her on stuck her hand in and got the card. Never has an exhibition of customer service been more prominent. Bravo Corey, Bravo Reily. They are charging $27 for a fresh flower bouquet when more than half the flowers were rotten and dead, this was a poor arrangement even for $4.99 and should have been given away for free. I'm confused by the popularity of the grocer. The prices seem consistently higher than their local competition, the store is bizarrely disorganized and the stocking decisions seem oddly exclusive. Either complete product lines are missing or variations within a line are inconsistent. One good example is Yoplait yogurt. If you want the light version of this you better want vanilla because that's all they have. Their meats and seafood are beautiful but prohibitively expensive. It makes me glad that I live where Publix rules. read more

This was our first visit to a Wegman's, which we have heard so much about. We loved the labeling of sections. For example, you don't have to hunt for your type of cheese. The cheese section hs clearly sections in big letters for cheddar, etc. Makes it easy to shop. This is true throughout the store. There is a tremendous variety of items. Very impressive. Pricing is interesting. It is not an inexpensive store. Produce looked to be good quality, same time a bit high in price. Struck me that their name brand yogurt was high priced, I believe about $6 for a container, and the brand that we love, Chipotle was about $4-5 dollar for a same size container. Usually a store brand is much cheaper. Not sure of the thinking behind that. I did try their name brand organic blue cheese and was not impressed by it. I would go back again. Like Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods, Wegman's makes shopping a fun experience, with a broader range of offerings than those brands. read more

This is my favorite supermarket . it isnt very close to my house but i drive half hr away to go there. The fruits and vegetables are so fresh, the bakery section is big so much to choose from. My opinion is their cakes are better than a regular bakery so tasty. i bought a vanilla cake with vanilla icing the 1 time i went and then this time i bought a chocolate cake with chocolate icing both so good. next time i go im grabbing the carrot cake it looked amazing. the store is fully stocked and very clean this makes you want to return to the store. About 20% of those choices are refrigerated; the rest on the shelf. This bothers me a bit; but all the ones I've chosen had a good sell-by or born on date. Nice selection of 22 oz. bottles. Prices are reasonable, and tax is included. You must show a valid drivers' license to make a purchase. When my Australian friend tried to give his international license, the cashier chuckled(as we all did) and needed to get a manager's approval. Wegman's, where do I begin? Oh, how I love thee, hee hee hee! Let's start upon entering. Oh boy! A foodie paradise! Their produce is a-mazing! They have such speciality items. Everything from Heirloom tomatoes, purple sweet potatoes, rainbow carrots to black truffles. Yes ladies and gentlemen, for $999.99 a pound or $62.50 an ounce you can purchase some black truffles (non-dessert kind). They also have 6 different kinds of pick your own mushrooms. Kinds that you don't see at other markets As you make your way to the back of the produce section, you encounter the 4 sides cheese bar... 4 SIDED CHEESE BAR! Holy! They also have Marcona almonds in this area too! A huge bucket of them. If you have not ever tried this kind of almond, it's a must! I was so surprised to see such a large tub of them. To me the butcher shop isn't in a prime location. It's in the far left hand side corner of the store. It seems a little dark back there too. To me that is your big money maker and you would want it more pronounced. Other than location, their selection is awesome! I picked up four ribeye here last time I was there. They were fabulous! Now the seafood selection was awesome! So much to choose from and everything looks so good. As you make your way around to the front of the store, you come to the bakery and the prepared foods section. The bakery as a large fresh baked breads area. They have breads behind a case, in baskets and a large island display. bagels, rolls, baguettes, boules and more. They also have a huge salad bar with such great choices. The refrigerated section is great as well, they have the cultured butter I love and even Pillsbury gluten free scoop-able cookie dough. Haven't seen that one before! They have a kitchenware-home goods section too and their selection of dry goods are unbelievable too. Everything from Rye flour to Guittard Chocolate (which you can't find in Orlando except in Williams and Sonoma). Now this place is pricey so I wouldn't do my regular shopping here. I'm a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market kind of girl. But when I need my foodie items this is the store I will hit up when I move here this year. It's a foodie paradise! Totally! Lets get through the bad first: I just spend a couple hundred dollars on groceries and sundries, stop by the coffee/hot/cold bar for a quick lunch, and head over to the seating area. Why is it that I can't find a seat for myself because all of the staff lounges there for their meals and breaks. It's ridiculous. Don't they have an area somewhere designated for that so that customers don't have this problem? Here I go again, having to take my carton of salad out to the car and eat it at home because 2 of the 6 tables are taken up by staff members. Please don't think of me as pompous.
