Unlike many storage facilities in the Pacific Northwest, here, the leadership team does not nickel & dime you. They provide excellent quality & value for money. When I first moved my furniture into the facility, I had brought the wrong wallet with me. Most places would have said: "Go home and call us when you get the cash." Not this place. Here, they pride themselves on doing business with a handshake. They trusted that I would take care of business. They told me, " Don't worry about it, move your stuff in....and next week, when you get the chance, stop by the office sometime to pay us." How refreshing---It is truly a pleasure to do business with this company. If you are looking for a corporate storage place where all of your hard-earned money goes to Dallas--you have come to the wrong place. Wow, such a relief to find such great movers to work with! It's been awhile since i worked with a…read moremoving company (like 10+ years, lol), so i felt like i had to start over with reading all the reviews, calling and leaving messages... Ultimately, what i was looking for was a reasonable rate, and someone who would treat us and our stuff respectfully. I probably interacted with about a dozen different moving companies and went with Marley's for a few reasons. First, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Marley's was the ONLY company I was able to get a live person in the evening. Now I get that people need time off from work, lol... but the guy who answered was one of the movers and was just a really nice, cool guy to talk with. Gave me a rough idea of cost, not sales-y at all, and recommended i call their office the next day to get more info, confirm best days they'd be available and so on. And I spoke to Kathy? i think it was. But again, she was super nice, friendly, not trying to sell me on anything. Just happy to help, see what days/times they had available. She let me know a range for the cost (b/c they don't exactly know how long the job will be). We were moving from Corvallis to Bend. And when i compared the rates of renting a one-way Uhaul vs Marley's, the cost was pretty close. In the end I think we spent about 100-$150 more than renting a Uhaul. BUT... they did all the lifting, driving and i didn't have to fuss w/ going and picking up a truck, dropping it off, paying for gas, having it inspected, etc. The other thing I had forgotten about is when you work with professional movers they REALLY know how to pack stuff safely. They have all the rope, ties, blankets, etc. needed to make sure stuff gets packed in safely for the ride over the mountain pass. Had I done this myself, i would have had to pay extra for all those things and odds are i wouldn't have done as good a job. Plus the movers were great guys. Did a great job being respectful of our stuff, nothing was getting tossed around. They were folding up carpets to make sure they didn't get damaged, again just an all-round great experience. Would't hesitate to use them again and if you're considering a move, i'd recommend giving them a call. They're so easy/friendly to talk with and you won't have to worry about getting pressured into anything :D

They returned at 3pm after the new carpet was in place to move everything back in. Their flexibility allowed our new carpets to be completed in one day. I am a veteran and a repeat customer, and I trusted this company to handle my belongings with basic care. During this move, their crew improperly loaded my items, including stacking a commercial Maytag stainless steel washer and dryer on top of each other--even though they are not stackable. As a result, both units were dented, scratched, and significantly damaged. These appliances were nearly new (used less than a dozen times) and valued at approximately $1,400 each. The bigger issue is how they handled it afterward. When I contacted the owner (Nate), he became immediately defensive and claimed that we did not provide any moving blankets. This is completely false. * I have photo evidence clearly showing a large number of blankets available * We also had cushions, pillows, and rugs available for protection * There was more than enough space in the truck to load these items safely without stacking them * I have multiple witnesses present during the move who can confirm this Instead of taking responsibility, they chose to deny, deflect, and misrepresent the situation, despite clear evidence. This was not an unavoidable accident--this was negligent loading and improper handling, followed by false statements when confronted. I have made a good-faith effort to resolve this directly, but due to their refusal to take responsibility, I am now prepared to pursue formal action, including filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies and pursuing recovery through small claims court if necessary. If something goes wrong during your move, do not expect accountability.
