It used to be a great practice but now you are seen as cash cows and the service has gone out the window. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours AFTER your appointment. My last straw was today. They told me after 15 years of being a patient that I would not be seen if I didn't provide my social security number. Even told me that it was the law. UM NO IT IS NOT THE LAW! Office manager was called and corrected her and said it was their new policy. I said there was no way I was giving my SSN as it was not required and the only reason they would need it was for bill collectors and I have insurance and and have been a patient in good standing for 15 years. Still refused to see us... So good bye Walnut Creek. I will find another office that doesn't require my SSN and I will keep my exposure to identity fraud at a minimum thanks. read more

I don't know why it is so difficult to find a good primary care doctor's office in Henry County, GA. I thought maybe this would be better. Right off the bat, I had a negative feeling because of all the paperwork focused on money instead of medical care. My first appointment went well, and my blood samples were sent to the correct lab for my health insurance. When I was called back for a redo of some tests, they sent the blood to the wrong lab and saddled me with a bill I should not have if they had done things correctly. The reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is that I actually liked the physician's assistant that I saw. read more

I been going here for over 3 years now and even though I've ventured off to explore other medical offices I always end up liking it better at WCFP. The staff if very friendly, the office is open late as well as open 7 days a week which is a major plus in my opinion..., and the wait time is very minimal. All in all I highly recommend. I hardly ever have to wait and, when I do, it is only a few minutes. My doctor is pleasant and professional. He genuinely takes time to interact with me, staff calls back with test results and will actually call more than once! I am so impressed with the personal touch both my doctor and his staff offer. Recommended them to my daughter, there is no higher recommendation. read more

Trying to talk to an actual person over the phone is IMPOSSIBLE ! Haley keeps calling my cell leaving a message to call her back NO OTHER MESSAGE as to why shes calling. When I call back Haley is gone or on the phone and I have to leave a voicemail for her POINTLESS Can no one else there relay a fricking message Other than that all is well. Great hours nice people. I have been a patient of this practice for a number of years. I haven't had any problems until recently. Some of the nurses are rude, it's hard to reach a nurse on the nurse line and the wait can take a while. I sat in the office for over an hour, as a walk in. My name was not called to fill out any paperwork and I overheard the MA say, she's a walk in she can wait. Very unprofessional. If you visit this facility, make sure you have an appointment. read more

I would not recommend this office to anyone as I had the worst service ever. I went in thinking I might have gout and they drew blood and diagnosed me with it. They gave me 4 prescriptions and 1 of them was a preventative for gout which cost me $65. They did not even take xrays to rule anything else out. Then yesterday they call me to give me blood results only to find out it was not gout, and still don't know what is wrong, which I wasted $65 on preventative pills for it. Now still in pain, still don't know what is wrong, and their solution is to come back in and pay them another $35 copay to take xrays that should of been done the last visit. They costed me $100 and no solution. Called and even complained and owner was no help so therefore I would not be caught dead going there ever again and would not recomend this place to anyone. read more

I have been going to this doctors office for years and originally they had good doctors and were good to their patients but they have become rude and they have actually lied to me now as I have specifically told them over and over again that my labs have to be run through a certain provider and, if they are, I have no out of pocket. Now they are saying that they can't do that. I have gotten a bill from two separate visits, which I have paid, by they way, from them and never have they explained that. The upsetting part is that they are saying that I have been told this before which is not true at all. Why would I ignore such information when it costs me money? I am just stunned that a doctor's office would handle their patients this way. The last time I asked for a change in antibiotic because it made me sick the nurse talked to be as though I was 10. I came in on a weekend once and they couldn't reach BCBS because their system was down so they wouldn't see me unless I paid out of pocket, which made no sense since I had been a patient for over 5 years and they never lost one nickel on me. That bothered me then, but this is the last straw. And to the review just before me, the reason you never have to wait is because they have lost most of their patients because of their attitude and their deception. There are better doctors out there. The doctors and PA's here are GREAT however the front office staff on weekends are clueless on how to check patients in and out in a timely manor and there is no need to call the office manager Wanda to complain because she just blames the problem on the "EMR" system. She is not concerned that long time patients are leaving the practice. I hope that Dr. Slavico and Kathy read these reviews. They are compassionate however they could surely use a new front office staff. read more

If you want good quality customer service, this is not the place to go. Got to the office at 1:00 for a 1:10 appointment. Was not called to the desk until after 1:20 and was then told that my temporary id card on my phone was not good enough for the practice. I was to told to drive home and print out a copy of the card (I live 30 minutes away from the office.) Practice manager is never available (always told that she is busy or on the phone.) This is not a customer service friendly front office, the physicians are good but you have to get past the customer no service before you can see the physician. read more
