I always just stick to Kohl's, 'Michael's' and 'In-an'-Out' here at this specific plaza was due to the convenience of its location. Either way, it's a solid shopping plaza and probably the best and most diverse in Walnut. There's the gym, Aldi (the least stressful one to go to parking wise near me), L&L (RIP the mall one), now the closest Michaels to me, a Kohl's I do all of my Amazon returns at, and several other businesses like McDonald's, Panda Express, Dollar Tree (no longer across from Mt. SAC), a very small Starbucks, pho, Applebee's, In-N-Out (easiest one for me to get to too), PetSmart, and much more. There's clothes and home goods shopping, groceries, arts and crafts, pet and pet supply shopping, sit down and casual fast food restaurants, and much more. It's not too far for me to get to and parking-wise less stressful, so it's a solid experience for me.

I only mostly visit 'The Village' for these 2 favorite local stores. I used to eat off 'Ten Rens' before they upped the pricing way too high even before inflation. Super cute. One time years and years ago, they had a scavenger hunt for Christmas where you search around the mall to take photos with your phone for an ornament. I really liked that I did that and got to spend time with my family. I've seen so many shops come and go here and pieces of my childhood through adolescence such as the Disney Store (I remember spending time here looking through that giant plushie pile), the merry go round, Surf City Squeeze (always thought their mascot looked cool, now replaced with a Pop Mart vending machine), Nothing But Silver (went here lots with my mom and aunts), Sanrio Surprise, Amapola Deli and Market (crazy they tried to open a market in here), the hermit crab vendor, McDonald's that my mom would always get my brother and I and the vendors that would try to sell stickers at our table, the dollar store on the upper floor above Baskin Robbins, the used bookstore and so much more. Huge chunk of nostalgic memories for me, but today it's decent mall with most things that you would need. Some shops I go to often to get gifts or pick up something for myself, See's (thanks for closing PH location), Hot Topic, Bath and Body Works, Miniso, etc. At least the Tilt arcade here is still open. The lot needs a little repair, but the space is enough to accommodate parking for all businesses. One thing too is that this location has personality. Let me explain. Today I observed the usual ancient Asian guys sitting in front of the donut shop having their loud conversation (I thought they were screaming at me), a middle eastern guy smoking in the parking lot making a business deal on his cell phone, and get this, a random lady was washing her Tesla in the parking lot. What? Lol. Also, I believe there are a couple of days during the week when 2-4 older retired guys just sit in the parking lot with lawn chairs and drinking coffee (and probably booze) while listening to the radio, but I didn't see them today.

There's PLENTY of parking since it's such a huge plaza, but it can get quite busy with all of the cars going in and out. The main intersection you enter in and out can get REALLY ugly with cars not following right of way, the lanes to turn left backing up into the intersection, etc., so if I can avoid it and just exit near the UPS Store I would. I feel like at a certain point they really should put traffic lights there, but on dead times it's not so bad honestly. As for other things, sometimes there's vagrants wandering around (camping behind the Salvation Army), one time a guy was peeing outside of his car, the letters are always being stolen from the Heights sign, and there used to be car meets here before they were shut down.
