The area is clean, well-maintained, and easy to walk around with a nice courtyard and parking structure. There's a nice mix of restaurants, coffee shop - including a coffee bar inside Bristol Farm and other stores, so it works whether you're grabbing food, meeting friends, or running grocery errands or even stopping by the local credit union. There's also 4 EV chargers for your car. Parking is usually pretty easy, in the back area, which is a big plus as long as you stay away from the front area of restaurants. Overall, it has a relaxed and family-friendly feel since it's walking distance to the library and is one of the nicer centers in the area.

It was still the best in its era back then, but it's still a reliable and good mall today. My latest visit was actually to Macy's, but decided to give the mall for a run. The major department stores are still there, with the Macy's, JcPenney, and Nordstrom. There's also some of the original shops like LUSH, Abercrombie (though they've moved around a few times), Bath and Body, Hot Topic, etc. There's some new jewelry places and some other trinket stores. I saw something like build your own slime for like 30 bucks...what is that?! But yeah, a lot more boutique and random shops here and there. Parking lot is still packed like always, so people still enjoy coming here.

Elevators are in place and working at west garage by Lifetime Gym--open and offers many amenities. Pools are really something to experience. Some newly opened restaurants are: Kalbi Social Club, North Italia, Pacific Catch (see specials menu). The Melt & Din Tai Fung are open. At our last visit, North Italia was at capacity. There is a waiting list for Din Tai Fung and reservations are recommended.

The important thing to know is that if you come during the holidays or on a weekend, it will be busy. The good thing is, as long as you don't mind parking on the very upper levels and walking a bit, I've always been able to find parking. But if you don't like walking at all, this probably isn't the center for you, and there's a lot of walking if you want to explore everything! What I love about this center is that you have everything from Nordstrom to Target, literally! You can find some very unique restaurants, along with typical chains, so there's something for everyone. We'll occasionally see a movie here as well, but that's another review. What impresses me the most is how well-maintained and clean everything is. Even the elevators in the parking garages are graffiti-free, which is very unusual. Now, not all the locations have maintained their interiors as well, but that's on them and not the Irvine Spectrum. My favorite time to come is still in December. We've always found the night atmosphere to have a lot of great energy. And yes, there are a lot of teens who hang around and have loud fun; they're harmless and add to the energy.

It is free parking which is nice and that is a good value. There are several shops, restaurants, Target, Apple store, cheesecake factory, a comedy club, a movie theater, a ferris wheel and much more. Some of the shops are more high end, so expensive. It is usually very crowded and it seems like everyone in OC is there on the weekends. I haven't really dealt with any of the mall staff, so can't talk about their service but I do see some of them cleaning pretty regularly, so that is good. There are a few bathrooms scattered around the mall, that are not in the restaurants. There are some nice water fountains too. It is a pretty large open air mall, hopefully you plan your shopping experience out well, otherwise prepare to walk a lot. Enjoy the photos.

Ample parking and some is even in the shade if you get lucky. Insider tip: If you're going to Polly's Pies use one of the two Lemon entrances because Polly's has a huge parking area not a whole lot of people know about behind the restaurant that is less crowded than the rest of the parking lot and Polly's Pies has two entrances and the entrance by the back parking lot is usually less busy although it has stairs so if someone in your party needs wheelchair access then use the front door off of Imperial highway. In addition to Polly's and Mimi's there's another restaurant in the center called Fitness Cafe that has salads, pizzas, pasta, and plenty of healthy options for everyone. Fitness Cafe is next to a wine bar that has a fire pit so that's a fun place to gather friends. The wine bar has tapas style finger foods and we've been there when they have live music in the evening. The cookie element sells so many varieties of cookies! If you don't want to heat up your house using the oven during the summer they will be sure to offer whatever cookies you're craving! My fiancée and I both like their cookies although they're a bit sweet for me so if you have a sweet tooth you'll like them. There is also a relatively new kickboxing gym here if you need to burn off the calories from the cookies haha There are multiple doctors offices here as well as boutiques and other shops.
