I needed to arrange for my 24-year-old daughter to be picked up and taken to the airport at 5:45 a.m. My biggest concern was reliability. I wouldn't be able to sleep the night before if I wasn't 100% certain that she would be picked up on time and transported safely to the airport. I found Walsh Airport Services online and saw the average 5-star rating with 23 reviews. The other companies that I found couldn't meet that kind of satisfaction rating. I called and scheduled my daughter's pick up with Tom. The pick-up location can be very difficult to find (off the street, the street is not numbered in sequential order, etc.). So, I gave Tom the details on how to find the place and he said that he would probably just pick her up and drive her himself, to make sure that none of the detailed instructions got lost in relaying them to someone else. We set up a 5:45 a.m. pick up and he said he would probably arrive by 5:40 a.m. (so they could drive away by 5:45 a.m.). I gave him my cell phone number and he said he would text my daughter to let her know when he was close. I left my phone out for her to use to text with him. I also gave him the landline phone number. He was on time, arriving at 5:40 a.m., just as he promised. After my daughter's flight, I asked her how it went. She said that the service was fabulous. Tom treated my daughter like a total VIP. She absolutely LOVED it! So not only was Tom reliable and punctual, but he also delivered fantastic service and made my daughter feel very special (which she is, of course! ) TL;DR: Reliable, Punctual, Superb Customer Service. The driver was on his cell phone most of the time. He held the phone in his hand, and at one point, he was looking at the seat next to him fiddling with papers, so he had no hands on the wheel. He only put a hand back on the wheel when I requested it. His claim was "I haven't had an accident in 25 years." He is only one glance away from having an accident. The company should have a clear policy for their drivers. They should not be holding a cell phone while driving, even if it is allowed in Florida. This is NOT an example of good customer service.Safety must always come first. read more

I ordered this car service based on the great reviews on here. I spoke to Tom on the phone and he got all of my info and sent me a confirmation. I was surprised to get Tom as my driver too. He was right on time. The car was gorgeous, clean and luxurious. He was a gentleman and helped all of us in the car. I can't believe all of our luggage fit. From start to finish, I had a great experience with Walsh Airport Service. I hired the company to transport my parents to various locations on the day of my aunt's funeral. My parents said nothing but great things about their experience. Tom took the time to learn how to pronounce my family's last name correctly (it's difficult for most American tongues, at least) and listened well to where I needed them to go. The day of service was even better. Tom was patient, courteous, and at one point, helped get the funeral procession back on track when the hearse took a wrong turn! Recently I had to make changes to a reservation (four times!) and they took it all in stride without a hitch. When dealing with the office, they were very polite and helpful with my questions and made the booking and payment process simple. My family and I recently took a short trip to St. Pete Beach by way of Tampa. We were traveling with two young children as well so had booster seats with us plus plenty of luggage. We called Walsh last minute (Day of the AM flight) and he was right where we needed him, with easy text message communication. We had never been to this area and he was extremely helpful in taking about the area, keeping the conversation entertaining for the kids and even made a side stop along the way to get keys from someone. Helped with luggage, was patient and did an early pick up for our departure for the same rate. We had both a Towncar and a new Cadillac on the trips and both were in great shape, clean and pleasant. I took a cruise out of Tampa in August, had never been to Tampa and had never used Walsh. These guys really made our trip special. I take town cars all the time and in different parts of the country, this is the best service I've ever had. Tom's team is thoughtful and go the extra mile, text updates on location arrival etc were personal, not from a dispatch. Tom himself was our driver from the airport the first day, he let us know what to expect in the area we were staying, he pointed out things of interest along the way and advised us on our cruise, what to expect etc. Coming in from the Cruise he said he'd be there to get us and scheduled his time for it, when the boat pulled in, his text was there, we looked down and he was waving to us from the parking lot.
