I researched buying a Regal for two summers. I finally purchased from Grand Bay Marine in Traverse City, MI. I took delivery in early spring of 2015. They taught me all the details about my boat by walking around it, then they took me to the water. The Captain launched the boat while giving me tips on how to best launch and tie up. He demonstrated the boat then had me drive it for over 45 minutes!. During the first 20 hours of drive time on my own lake many small things fell off or broke on the Regal. I notified Grand Bay and they ordered all the parts for me. I brought the boat to them to have everything fixed. Most things were fixed and all was fine except my XM radio. Regal shipped a broken part so I was suppose to go home without my radio. However, when our sale person Derek heard of our problems he pulled another radio from a newer boat and had it put in my boat. He also had the service guys look through my car to determine why my lights were not working. That happened to be the fault of my car. In another situation I got a new water tube with my boat. After 6-weeks of riding the tube ripped on the seam. I contacted Kyle, another sales rep, and he said to bring it back that Grand Bay would replace it for me. Most of the problems I encountered were not the fault of Grand Bay service or sales. However, the team went out of their way to make sure all items were corrected, fixed, or replaced for me so our family fun could continue. I highly recommend Grand Bay Marine. I purchased a South Bay Pontoon from Grand Bay Marine this summer. The overall buying experience was outstanding! In the spring of 2015, Grand Bay Marine took our deposit for a boat and refused to refund the money when their seller backed out of the deal, breaching their contract and ours. This left us with no boat and $3,324 in the hole for deposit and survey fees. After weeks of practically begging for a refund, the owner refused. It is my opinion that Grand Bay Marine was not forthcoming regarding the seller's intentions. By not refunding our deposit, I believe these actions clearly demonstrate Grand Bay Marine lacks integrity, ethics and fairness when dealing with customers. Just wrapping up a month on Torch Lake on my brand new 2800 Regal Bow Rlder. I love, love , love this boat! The seating is fabulous, terrific swim platform and fabulous smooth ride no matter how choppy the lake might get. Everything from the purchase, training and delivery could not have been better. The entire staff at GBM have been responsive, excellent customer service. Highly recommend you buy the boat with the bow thrusters. It is a life saver as the boat is 6600 lbs and it makes a huge difference when docking at the gas docks or the Dockside in the wind. Also, for night cruises, the underwater lights are very fun, as is the stereo and the GPS when you cannot find the house in the dark. read more

Kyle setup a lake test for me at Higgins Lake (70+ miles from TC), assisted with financing, and even when the driver forgot some of the paper work and accessories, Kyle had them delivered on the same day!
