Dr Daniel Barton was calm, very very clear and articulate to explain every detail of the xrays and what was going on . I did not need a root canal but now need to go to a Periodontist. Bone loss around the lower of one front tooth. Not totally relieve but the experience could not have been any better. The whole office was calm and the experience was 10/10. The dental hygienist, Lauren, was unfriendly, and she didn't talk much. She made me feel so uncomfortable. I could tell that Lauren definitely hates her job. She chipped my front tooth because she does not take her time, and she rushed through the cleanings ect. Dr. Oliver was rude and gave a bad attitude as if he didn't believe she chipped my tooth. I had 3 mouth guards from here that were not made well, and they broke within a short time after using them. These mouth guards should last at least 5 years since insurance will only pay for one every 5 years. Plus, my previous mouth guards, made elsewhere, lasted over 5 years. Dr. Oliver was rude about this as well and kept trying to refer me to a specialist when I had never had to go to a specialist to have a mouth guard made before. I did nothing to cause these mouth guards to break so quickly. The 1st mouth guard lasted only 1 1/2 years, the 2nd one lasted about 6 months, and the 3rd lasted only 2 months. Again, Dr. Oliver was rude and refused to give me a refund so I could go elsewhere and have one made. Plus, the mouth guards were a bite guard and retainer all in one. Since the mouth guards were not made correctly, my top teeth are now crooked. I complained to Dr. Oliver about this as well, and again, he acted as if I was lying. The office manager, Sarah, was uncaring and refused to help me saying their warranty on mouth guards was only 30 days when previously it was 1 year. Further proof that they just don't care about their patients. I told Sarah that I wanted to speak with Dr. Shrewsbury, and she refused to let me speak with him. My husband didn't care for this office either and decided to go elsewhere after going there only a couple of times. He said, "They just aren't friendly there." He said Dr. Claywell and others didn't say two words to him the last time he saw him, so he decided not to go back. The only saving grace here is the dental hygienist, Casey, who was super sweet, caring, and friendly. Too bad everyone else who works here is uncaring and rude.

I am a senior citizen who didn't have the benefit of fluoride when my teeth were developing, so there have been many challenges. From fillings to crowns to cosmetic procedures, I have consistently been impressed by the care I received. Dr. Walton is very easy to talk to, and his staff ensures changes in my health are noted and brought to his attention. New technologies are incorporated into treatment plans as needed, the comfort and well-being of patients are always the priority. The new office is comfortable and convenient with plenty of parking. With all these benefits comes the one that I find rare and incredibly important to me: they CARE. I cannot imagine a better place to get good dental care.

I figured at least the majority of it would be covered by insurance because these are just standard items so when I got my reimbursement check from Delta Dental I was surprised when it was only $97. I went to Walton because they have the Delta Dental logo on their website and say they work with insurance providers. I looked at the itemized explanation and it said out of network provider. I have the top Delta plan so I called Walton and asked what was going on and they said they would pull up my file and call me back. They rudely emailed me about 6 hours later with the same itemized list I was mailed and just went through the charges. I understood the charges... I didn't understand why insurance didn't cover it. I restated my question and was emailed this (copied & pasted): "We absolutely accept delta. We do not have a direct contract with this carrier- which means we are out of network. (We do not have a contract with any insurance)" delta is a bad company! Your better off doing our in office plan for the benefits you are getting. Thanks!" You will be reimbursed the amount of an out-of-network provider. They just want you to buy into their in office payment plan! Not going back!

Dr Cook was my forth and hands down second to none the best Doctor I have ever been to. From the cleanliness of his office, the receptionist and the dental technician that assisted him, you will not find any better in the Kyana area. Dr Cook's chair side manner puts you at ease. The root canal was completely painless. Next day there was zero discomfort. Dr Cook is a Navy Veteran and honorably served his country for 12+ years. I'm a retired Coast Guard veteran. Dr. Scott and his team confirmed through their X-rays and testing that my root had died ... sigh. I was able to schedule an early morning appointment to come back for my procedure. The team was kind and supportive, which I appreciated because I have a fear of needles. Dr. Scott walked me through each step of the process, which included fair warning of discomfort I'd experience. I was thankful to use my headphones during the 20-30 min procedure. I'll still need to visit my dentist for a permanent cap on the tooth. I'll also revisit Dr. Scott and his team in six months to check me again for any infection. Fingers crossed. I'd really like to return to annual cleanings as the major dental visit of the year. Most visits to him come through referrals from your dentist but he does accept consultations outside of his typical network of dentists. My tooth was infected and my face was starting to swell. I am so glad I called this office and she got me out of pain. She did a very great job on my root canal and kept making sure I was okay and calm because my anxiety gets to me sometimes when I'm having dental work done. She's very sweet and gentle. Let me clarify that this endodontist (Dr. Kelly Walker) nor anyone at this location performed the original root canal. So this specialist was needed to correct a problem that occurred with the original root canal. The experience here was wonderful. Before she started anything, we discussed the anxiety that could occur because of this procedure. She was glad that I disclosed this issue because it changed her procedure just a little. She offered to take short breaks during the procedure, if necessary. I can't believe that there was no pain at all because she numbed me so very well and she was not rough during the procedure. I only felt slight pressure during the entire process (drilling thru the crown, scraping out the infected pulp and cleaning up). Even as the drugs began to wear off, the pain was not excruciating. Everyone there, except for Dr. Carmen, was understanding of my condition and was patient with me. This place could be a great place to have work done. The procedure was relatively painless with Dr. Sauer and her staff checking in with me regularly to ensure I was comfortable. They completed the procedure quickly and professionally. I was back at work immediately following. Today was my one-year check in and it felt like walking into the home of an old friend; I was greeted warmly and everyone remembered me. The procedure was successful. This is a practice that cares. They respect their patients and genuinely want the best for them. While I do not wish to have a need to go back anytime soon, I will not hesitate to contact Springhurst Endodontist the moment I need their services.
