They are one of the only in the city with a Cone CT scanner xray that would be the best for diagnosing. The staff was great. Dr Daniel Barton was calm, very very clear and articulate to explain every detail of the xrays and what was going on . I did not need a root canal but now need to go to a Periodontist. Bone loss around the lower of one front tooth. Not totally relieve but the experience could not have been any better. The whole office was calm and the experience was 10/10. It was worth every penny and Im a tightwad lol.

Touch screen self check in and off to brush your teeth. Waiting room is spacious and comfy chairs. There is a working television and reading materials. The offices have been updated. They aren't only focusing on teeth but updated technology to help with treatment. Seriously upgrades since my braces days. They an open office setting in the back, like a circle of chairs and the desk in the middle. (Same set up as the past too) but of course updated chairs and equipment. It's awesome too see some familiar faces from days and knowing my kid is in great hands, definitely takes the stress off. Scheduling future appointments is a breeze and they give you your note on the same page with off the info. The treatment plans are laid out in front of you and all the expectations they have for treatment and that we need to except of treatment. Financials were spelled out to me clearly and the expectations for that as well. So far everyone at Iman and Baldwin has made the beginning process for my son's treatment a breeze and my kid is already on the know for the check in process. I'll take pictures next visit.

Now for the fun stuff: Dr. Walton has been my family's dentist for over ten years, and we all would be lost without him. That's saying a lot coming from a former military family, 20 years of finding new dentists, barely getting to know the staff's names before moving on to another adventure...and new dentists. Dr Walton made us feel like we had finally come home, and we have no intention of leaving! He has taken excellent care of my troublesome teeth (grew up drinking well water & never heard of fluoride until my son was in school! Plagued by thin enamel!), my military man's "ready to deploy" teeth, & my sister who has Traumatic Brain Injury (causing memory losses & confusion compounded by communication challenges)'s teeth. Throughout it all, I have never felt rushed or ignored by him; he has always made each of us feel as though we were the only patient in his life at the moment. That's particularly important with my sister who can sometimes make those of us who love her want to scream; many people just can't cope with her, but I never once heard even a slight irritation or sigh of impatience in his voice. Dr Walton is opening his own private practice, Walton Family Dentistry, in Bardstown, and we are so excited! He will do great as an independent businessman as he will always be a "patient first" doctor and just doesn't fit in a "puppy mill" atmosphere. He is a good man, who obviously loves his family (His wife, Stephanie the Dental Technician, is terrific, too!) and is deeply committed to improving his community. Knowing I didn't need an X-ray the problem was obvious. But I got blindsided by payment. Right before Christmas at that. My husband and I will never be back. They could have informed me beforehand of pricing, or insurance issues. I'm so disappointed in this place. $80 for 12 mins. Smh. **Update 12/20/19. They call, NOT ME. But my husband to I guess see how they can address the issue.. first off they could of called me. Second refund. Third check with peoples insurances before having them go back.

I am a senior citizen who didn't have the benefit of fluoride when my teeth were developing, so there have been many challenges. From fillings to crowns to cosmetic procedures, I have consistently been impressed by the care I received. Dr. Walton is very easy to talk to, and his staff ensures changes in my health are noted and brought to his attention. New technologies are incorporated into treatment plans as needed, the comfort and well-being of patients are always the priority. The new office is comfortable and convenient with plenty of parking. With all these benefits comes the one that I find rare and incredibly important to me: they CARE. I cannot imagine a better place to get good dental care.

They say they accept insurance but they do not! You pay all out of pocket upon visit and insurance…read morewill reimburse you what it covers. I paid $263 for 4 xrays, cleaning, and exam the day of appointment. I figured at least the majority of it would be covered by insurance because these are just standard items so when I got my reimbursement check from Delta Dental I was surprised when it was only $97. I went to Walton because they have the Delta Dental logo on their website and say they work with insurance providers. I looked at the itemized explanation and it said out of network provider. I have the top Delta plan so I called Walton and asked what was going on and they said they would pull up my file and call me back. They rudely emailed me about 6 hours later with the same itemized list I was mailed and just went through the charges. I understood the charges... I didn't understand why insurance didn't cover it. I restated my question and was emailed this (copied & pasted): "We absolutely accept delta. We do not have a direct contract with this carrier- which means we are out of network. (We do not have a contract with any insurance)" delta is a bad company! Your better off doing our in office plan for the benefits you are getting. Thanks!" You will be reimbursed the amount of an out-of-network provider. They just want you to buy into their in office payment plan! Not going back!

Her office is located right in town across the street the old post office. I Highly recommend her!
